"Opened March 4 in the Modera Sandy Springs complex on Roswell Road, this 140-seat sushi restaurant features both traditional omakase experiences and à la carte offerings, plus charcoal-grilled meats and vegetables. Menu formats include an all-you-can-eat Benzaiten at market price, a five-course Bishamonten with carpaccio and sashimi or nigiri, a sushi-bar-only nigiri omakase, a moriwase omakase of chef-selected sashimi or assorted nigiri, and edomae-style omakases served at a 20-seat sushi bar; the dining room also offers cooked entrees. Chef Jackie Chang, formerly of Umi in Buckhead and O-Kuin Westside, leads the kitchen and sushi bar. The venue held a grand opening dinner on March 8 where diners could choose a complimentary Edomae chef’s-choice appetizer, a cocktail, or dessert, and it operates weekday lunch service plus nightly dinner hours on weekends." - Beth McKibben
