Yukga is the best option for Korean bbq near Summerlin, though it's not as great as the top places in Chinatown.
I love that they offer a charcoal upgrade, but the bowl of charcoal was so much smaller than the grill, it was hard to cook enough meat for our large party. The flavor is worth it, though -- definitely get the charcoal!
The marinated meats were scrumptious. If we go back, we'll focus our orders there. The ones that came dry didn't have enough flavor, even with the dipping sauces. I had the same problem with the vegetables -- they just char and get tough because they come with no oil.
We enjoyed the tofu soup, which wasn't too spicy for us. The kimchi was reasonable, too.
Do get the raw oysters, which come deliciously seasoned. The scallops, though, didn't make a lot of sense to me. They didn't taste fresh, and they were drowning in bland cheese.
I miss having more banchan offered. You can order some, but it's not a great array of options.
I appreciated having an ice cream bar included at the end, even though Melona is not a brand I get excited about. There was something very festive about us all having ice pops like a bunch of kiddos.
Service is prompt; you'll have time to order everything you want, with seconds.
We thought all the packages were well priced. While we liked the oysters, boneless ribs, and wagyu in the gold package, there are still lots of delicious options in the bronze and silver menus. The bulgogi lunch special looks like a steal.
Overall, order with care, and you can get a great meal close to home.
