"Chef and owner Andy Kim of Hanabi Sushi & Rolls has debuted his take on barbecue dining, taking over the shuttered home of Bachi Burger and launching a roomy, 4,113-square-foot, industrial-inspired space a short distance from the Regal Village Square movie theater and his sushi restaurant. Guests are invited to charcoal-grill quality meats right at their seat; the restaurant is currently open for dinner only (expected to expand to lunch later) and offers combination specials served with steamed eggs and a choice of stew or à la carte selections. Appetizers include beef tartar, japchae noodles, and pan-fried beef, while the main attractions are pork, beef, yukba, and intestine combos featuring pork jowl, wagyu beef tongue, prime rib eye, brisket, short ribs, marinated pork, and less common ingredients such as mountain tripe and abomasum. Dine-in only; hours are daily from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. and Sunday from noon to midnight." - Bradley Martin
