Where to start? For starters the staff, very welcoming and friendly! They have plenty of food options on their menu for meat lovers, vegetarians and vegans! The pricing on every item is beyond reasonable 🙏🏽 I'm shocked that they are not busier but I'm glad that we were able to enjoy it the way my friends and I did. We got a variety of meals: chicken teriyaki bowl, spicy salmon bowl, the salmon bowlito, and two sushi rolls! Everything was amazing 🤩 10/10 recommend.

This place was SO GOOD! I ordered the spicy beef udon and it was so flavorful- not very spicy though. The atmosphere was adorable as well. I loved how the plants were all around the place. It’s one of those clean up after yourself spots so that was nice. However I will say it’s not very spacious. The inside of the restaurant will not hold too many people and once people start filling in, it does feel cramped.

Delicious food for a fair price + big portions + immaculate vibes!!! The pastries are pretty unique, not overly sweet. Overall, absolutely loved this place, can’t wait to go back to L.A.

🚨 Be ready to get nickel and dimed at Yuko’s Kitchen… even when they mess up your order. 🚨 I’m not one to be a Karen, but there’s a big difference between being high maintenance and expecting basic accountability. Yuko’s Kitchen failed hard on the latter. I ordered the Chinese chicken salad via delivery, and while I’ve enjoyed their food plenty of times before, this experience was a jaw dropper. The salad showed up bone dry with no dressing whatsoever. Instead of making it right, they charged me for an extra dressing that should have been included to begin with. When I called to talk it through, the manager offered me a grand total of 50 cents and told me to just use the extra dressing I had bought separately (which, by the way, wasn’t even for me). I wasn’t asking for the moon, just a sliver of accountability. After dropping nearly $50 on two items, that response felt cheap in every possible way. I wasn’t looking for a refund or trying to make a fuss, just a basic gesture to acknowledge the mistake. Offering to replace the $6 larger side of dressing would have done the trick. But instead, I got brushed off and talked to like I was the problem. It wasn’t the missing dressing that turned me off, it was the dismissive attitude and total lack of care. I’ve been a loyal customer, but this stingy, customer last mentality spoke volumes. What could have been a $6 fix turned into a total dealbreaker.

Yuko Kitchen on Miracle Mile is an absolute gem—casual, colorful, and consistently delicious. I stopped in for lunch and ordered the spicy tuna bowl with brown rice, and it was the perfect mix of fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The tuna was super tender, the veggies were crisp and vibrant, and the sauces tied everything together with just the right amount of heat. I also grabbed a green iced tea that was surprisingly refreshing and not overly sweet. The vibe inside is quirky and welcoming, with murals and plants that make the space feel homey and relaxed. The staff were friendly and quick, and even during a busy lunch rush, everything came out fast and perfectly put together. It’s the kind of spot that makes healthy-ish food feel indulgent and fun. Can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu.

My wife and I really enjoyed this place: the outdoor seating was a very nice touch. The food was excellent and the prices were comparable.

Yuko kitchen miracle mile is hands down the best neighborhood spot on Wilshire. If you don't live around here, it's worth a trip. The little restaurant packs some indoor and outdoor seating and delivers food to your table after you order at the counter. Don't forget to check out the cookie selection because they're literally all amazing. They have (cookie and menu) options for people with food allergies and sensitivities. Flourless chocolate, GF cookies, vegan cookies, blondies.. all amazing. The service is great, super kind and really efficient. I usually order take away over the phone and it's ready in 15 -20 minutes. I've never encountered any staff member there that wasn't polite and welcoming. The food is incredible. The ingredients always taste fresh & it's on the healthier side. Portion sizes are filling - if you're an average eater you could probably get 2 meals out of a single entree. Or scarf it all down in 1 meal- no judgement! It's really that good. The bowl-litos are like sushi burritos wrapped in seaweed. Almost like an XL hand roll. Highly recommend the spicy salmon bowl-lito. The hot udon noodle soups are incredible. The tofu & cabbage is awesome. Broth 10/10. The rice bowls and special plates are actually giant and so delicious. Grab an extra side of sauce if you like every bite coated in even more tasty-ness. This joint is an absolute banger. Treat yourself and order literally anything.

I am so disappointed in everything I ordered from here, and based on the price I wish I had gone elsewhere. My total was close to $40. It's a super small place, but cute for a lunch stop. Anyway, it took a long time for my food considering I was the only one in there. I ordered the garlic shrimp bowl, fried broccoli, green tea strawberry chocolate chip cookie, and the green tea marshmallow brownie. I didn't like any of it. The bowl was full of rice, the shrimp were not seasoned, the broccoli was not fried all the way so it was so much batter inside, the cookie was hard AF, and the brownie made no sense with sesame seeds on top!! I trashed all of it.

I would come here just to hangout inside/outside - food was Great. Huge menu with lots of options - self service was done really well. Free water + napkins, utensils. Very laid back, casual experience - decent parking (street + lot) Lowlights - while the bowlito was delicious, it kept falling apart! I mean it dissolves in your hands. I ended up eating it with a fork rather than with my hands - there's enough seating but during peak hours I imagine it's rough finding a seat Definitely coming back to this gem and sharing the good word. Cute spot for quick, casual dining. They have good selection of simple yet healthier options with delicious asian flavors. My go to is the chicken plate which comes with rice, salad, 4pc spicy tuna rolls, mini soup, and dessert. I recently tried the spicy tuna bowl which was tasty as well. The portions are substantial and perfect for my appetite. The interior/exterior has a quirky and cozy ambience. The space and seating is a bit limited but the turnaround time is pretty quick. Worth a try if you're in the area.

We called ahead for a party of 9 but they don't take reservations. ENTRANCE - the place is really a take out place more so than a typical sit down restaurant. There are like 5 tables inside but outdoor seating wrapped around the corner location. DECOR - some decorative trappings outside with a real Greenwich Village feel (that's an area in Manhattan) The inside is not spectacular, like a traditional take out place SERVICE - none to speak of. You have to order your items and take a number. They call you to pick it up. CLEAN UP - everything is self service here as well. You have to bus your own table and pack any leftovers yourself MENU - they have categories with a few selections within each. For sushi they need more options for sure. FOOD - a mixed bag, the spicy tuna roll was disappointing, mostly the rice was mushy. The salads are big but mostly lettuce and a few slices of very thin fish. PRICE - fairly average overall but considering self service they are high

Date of visit: 8/23/24 First time. We got garlic shrimp and chicken teriyaki and both were amazing! I wish they'd put more shrimps as they're pretty small in size. The chicken teriyaki is not your everyday chicken teriyaki but it tasted so good! Will def come back and try other stuff!

Yuko Kitchen was recommended by my cousin who lives here. She says this is a favorite locals' spot. The restaurant is very charming and hidden in a corner by Wilshire and Dunsmuir. It's funny how the address says Wilshire Blvd but the restaurant itself is actually located on S. Dunsmuir Ave. It's hard to miss Yuko Kitchen as the exterior has colorful art murals and plants everywhere. It's a hidden gem. The ordering process: 1) Order inside. 2) Find table. 3) Wait for table number to be called. 4) Pick up order inside. 5) Enjoy your meal. 6) Please buss table. I ordered the garlic salmon sashimi salad, spicy salmon rice cake and mint lemonade. I didn't realize my mint lemonade was frozen, but I'm not complaining because it was actually quite delicious. It was the perfect hint of sweetness and the mint was super refreshing. The sashimi salad was super fresh and the dressing had great flavor. The crispy rice was a good portion, but it lacked a little bit of flavor, we had some extra Ponzo dressing from the salad and poured that over the crispy rice and was actually really good. I think it could've used a little bit more flavor or salt. Otherwise it was still tasty. One thing I'm unsure of is the total of our tab. According to the menu, if you add everything we had it should total $87.00. I remember tipping 20% and my credit card total charge was $130.55. Even after tax + tips, I feel like it shouldn't be as high as $130.55. At the time of payment, I asked for a receipt because I thought that was really pricey for lunch for 3 people. But they only give you a credit card receipt. I wanted to ask for a breakdown receipt but didn't bother because I didn't want to inconvenience anyone. Now I kind of wish I did ask just to ensure they charged me correctly. All in all, this spot has a lot of personality. The patio seating is adorable. I love all the artwork and plants everywhere! And the inside is so cute as well. My cousin says the owner loves plants and you can really tell with lush plants everywhere. Check it out if you're in the area. It's so cute and food is great. It's a whole vibe!

I love it here. to read. To study. To eat. All of the food is delicious. Of course there are some things. I love more than others but everything is high-quality. Super cute quiet place. I love that. They sell plants services always good. I do buy the carrot salad dressing. Keep it stocked in my fridge also really love to keep seaweed and their pumpkin to snack on throughout the week. THE FOOD: Tofu Rice Bowl - my go to. So much tofu so many veggies. The sauces on the side. Fried Broccoli - love these the dipping sauce is so good too Garlic Butter Rice - not worth the price. But a nice idea. Catfish teriyaki bowl - so good! Fish not overcooked, not too much sauce. perfection. Classic Chicken Teriyaki bowl - grilled chicken not friend out. Big slices with perfect amount of sauce. Ginger lemon tea - hot or cold, it don't matter they are both amazing! Carrot dressing - it stays stocked in your fridge. Good on all kinds of things be side salad Roasted pumpkin - another item I keep in the house just a snack on throughout the week

5 Stars! Super fresh, healthy, and delicious Japanese-style food. My friend and I really enjoyed Yuko Kitchen, the food tasted really good and the best part was that we didn't leave feeling sleepy or unhealthy. Garlic shrimp bowl - I ordered this dish and it was really good. My favorite was the garlic shrimp and also the zucchini that was grilled perfectly. Tuna Crispy Rice - The rice was perfectly crispy but not super hard either. I also loved the generous portion of tuna on top. Chicken combo platter - I think next time I come I will order this. I loved all the things that they gave my friend, from the tuna roll, salad, and even the cookies with cream. Overall highly recommend and I would come back again to try all of the other food as everything looks so healthy and delicious.

Casual cafe with string lights and outdoor seating. It's a hidden gem and they have a $20 special that includes a hefty portion of chicken, rice, four rolls, and dessert (which the day I went were cookie bits). You order at the counter and then pay prior to your order being ready at the counter. You bus your own table and utensils/water are available inside. The food was good and I especially liked the value I got from my meal. Metered street parking. Takeout and dine-in available. Credit cards are accepted.

Craving a salad bowl, but also some sushi? Well, Yuko Kitchen has both! This is a hipster's paradise~ The atmosphere is really cute and whimsical. They decked out the whole place with plants and trinkets, which gave a very "lived-in" feel. The food is yummy! I ordered the deluxe salmon bowl, and it was humongous. I should've shared it with my partner, but I ate the whole dang thing and basically conceived an 8lb food baby. This place gets BUSY during peak meal hours (1pm), even on weekdays. All the hipsters in the area flock here. So, I recommend take-out or coming before/after the lunch rush.

Fresh fish and giant portions for a great price. 8/10 Food: I ordered the Spicy Salmon Bowl and the food came fairly quickly. The staff were very friendly and took time to explain the menu. The flavors were awesome and well worth the price. Although I wasn't as big of a fan on their boba drinks.... I would get that elsewhere. 7/10 Ambiance: This place is a bit smaller on the inside with limited outdoor seating. I came here on a Sat afternoon and there was plenty of spots to sit and eat. This is a nice and casual place to grab lunch alone, or with friends. Parking- Street parking available around the neighborhood.

The bbq catfish plate was perfect - comes with catfish, rice, side salad, 4 spicy salmon rolls, soup and dessert. If you want the most bang for your buck, highly rec getting the plates! Lovely ambience - lots of greenery and pretty wall art. I love dining here!

Yuko Kitchen was the absolute coziest spot in Mid-Wilshire with healthy bowls and unique pastries. Walking in feels like a peaceful garden with plants all around! I tried the teriyaki tofu bowl and my sister got the beef plate. both were amazing and I recommend sitting outside with all the greenery. service was quick and food came out fresh. love it!!

This is for a to-go order. Was in the area and needed to bring some food home to go. I was looking for sushi burrito but when I got here I didn't really like the choices for sushi burrito so I looked into the bowls instead. Let me first say that I've been to this restaurant many years ago when I used to live near the area. Was a bit nostalgic coming back as my kids used to go to the school nearby. It's as quaint and cozy as I remember. I know I loved the food before so I wanted to go back and try it again. The server who took my order was really nice and pleasant as well as the other staff that I interacted with. I ordered 1 garlic shrimp sushi bowl and 2 of the spicy salmon rice bowl. So why 3 stars -- well maybe for to go order for the bowls might be best that the salad is on a separate box instead of mixed in together with the rice bowl. I think the salad dressing settled down at the bottom or maybe we had to mix it all together? It didn't have enough flavor or sauce to mix it up. I know the concept of bowl should all be in one container but I guess next time I'll ask it to be separate. While the serving looks big - it was more rice and salad than shrimp. My boys were also disappointed with the amount of salmon in their bowls. Maybe I ordered wrong for to go. In any case I will still come back and try something else- will probably dine in instead. Really cute place - indoor and outdoor seating available.

I give the food a 3.5 out of 5 based on the spicy salmon bowl because I think I would have liked there to be more protein. I felt a bit deceived when I saw how large the bowls are until I actually started working on the bowl and saw the huge vegetable portions that disproportionately outweighs the amount of salmon and rice. Despite the portions, the vegetables and salmon are very fresh. It is, in itself, a good salad. However, I personally didn't like that they included a lot of lettuce stems (the really tough white part at the end). Now the cookies are 5 out of 5, despite being pretty pricy for handmade cookies. I thought the three mochi cookies were interesting so I got one of each (almond, strawberry and taro). I liked that you could really taste the mochi flour and the texture is so lightweight (kind of like the cakey texture). It really feels like a hybrid between mochi and a cookie. The strawberry matcha cookie was also good too; I liked how it has dried strawberry toppings.

I tried this restaurant after a recommendation. We decided to order ahead because they said the place was always crowded. Walking in, it is a small quaint restaurant that has only a few tables. There was a great vibe to the restaurant that had a good home feeling to it. We took our food to go and I ate the food once I got to my destination. Onto the food; I decided to order the Teriyaki Chicken Rice bowl. It came with teriyaki chicken, rice, and some greens. I do wish that they separated the greens from the rice bowl because the dressing for the greens started to mix in with the teriyaki sauce. That provided a different type of taste that I felt did not go well together. The greens were good once I ate them alone however, the chicken was a bit dry and overcooked. I did enjoy the rice with the teriyaki sauce over it. After mixing the chicken and rice together it began to taste better. I do plan on trying this restaurant again however, I do want to try something different to maybe get a different opinion on the establishment.

I was really looking forward to eating here. The space inside is a lot smaller than I expected. It could probably only fit 3 at most 4 tables. The interior felt a bit claustrophobic actually. There is plenty of outdoor seating along the building on both sides.The place is super cute and has a hippy vibe. Service was excellent. The servers were energetic and positive. There is metered parking on the street which could be challenging to find depending on the time of visit. I got lucky and found a spot right in front! Now onto the food. I ordered the BBQ catfish with greens (no rice). The BBQ catfish was fried well and had a nice crunch. The bowl came with big pieces of fried catfish. So that was very generous. My dish could have used more dressing. The greens lacked flavor. My partner got the chicken and vegetable hot udon. The udon came with pieces of fried chicken? (Instead of Teriyaki or grilled chicken). It looked like microwaved chicken nuggets floating on top of a bowl of udon noodle soup! The pastries looked so good. I couldn't help but ordered a matcha chocolate chip cookie. The chocolate dominated the flavor and was too sweet. It needed more matcha flavor. The food was a bit disappointing. I think this restaurant is more of an American Japanese restaurant. I think if you come with that expectation, then the experience will be fine. It is a cute place. I am not sure if I would be returning because the food is not very authentic and looked better than it tasted.

Was walking down the street when I spotted the lush exterior and had to check in out. Was welcomed to one of the best patio spaces I've seen in Wilshire, as well as a plant shop and everyone's favorite comfort movie playing in the corner (Spirited Away!) I felt spirited away too, as the menu was extensive with so many amazing options. It was over 90 out so I ordered a Lemon Ginger slush and it was hand delivered and made to order. The employees and kind and passionate about their restaurant, and the level of care that goes into each facet of their menu is apparent. Absolutely make sure you stop by, whether it's for a quick coffee or a sit-down meal.

Eat here and your health bar will go up, your skin will clear up, you'll get that promotion, you'll fall in love and if you share it with everyone - we may all finally know world peace. My favorite place in LA for years. Yuko has blessed us with an oasis of incredible food across the whole menu, wonderful service, delicious dessert treats, solid boba, and caring service. Not to mention that Yuko has completely designed the space with a loving touch that transports me back to Kyoto every time I step in. The ever present Ghibli VHS might be a part of that. I get the chicken plate. But if you ever need a great udon. This is it too. Get the chicken udon and make it spicy. ごちそうさまでした。

Gorgeous space! It gets busy at night so be thankful if you can snag a seat. You order inside and then grab a seat while they prep your eats. Yuko Kitchen was on my list for ages so I'm glad I finally got to try out this beautiful restaurant this week. Everything my friend and I had was delish! The Chicken Plate at $16 is one of the best deals in town with heaping amounts of food! Teriyaki Chicken with rice, 4pc spicy salmon roll, green salad, cucumber, tomato, shot of soup and cookie pieces. Everything was so good. I was surprised how good the teriyaki chicken flavor was. The name of the Tempura Fish Bowl-Lito for $14 is a bit deceiving as it's actually a huge burrito roll. Tempura white fish, avocado, cucumber, greens, rice and seaweed, served with spicy mayo on the side. It was so filling and actually made two meals for me. Fresh ingredients brought the best tastes! I was also really happy with their cookies, as well. Tastes were great and they all were the perfect consistency. Nomz galore at Yuko! Can't wait to go back and try more.

Came here with some friends before going to a concert at El Rey Theater and did not expect this to be as delicious as it was. The place was super cute and gave off a cute coffee shop vibe. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to you when it's ready. Everything was really good. Their soups are excellent, the sushi was good - they even gave us an extra salmon roll on the house. Next time I go I want to try one of their baked goods and boba which my friends highly recommend.

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING I have been coming here with my grandma ever since I was like 12 I always get the chicken and vegetable udon or the chicken teriyaki rice bowl. It's not like normal teriyaki. It tastes wayyy better. Their mint lemonade with boba is my favorite drink and the sesame marshmallow blonde and chocolate strawberry matcha cookie is THE BEST. The staff is super friendly and very patient. They always take the best care of my grandma and I. It's very cute inside with a wall of flowers and greenery. Definitely go support this outstanding business. The food is around 18-25$ for entrees and the drinks are about 6$.

The food is fresh and the fairly priced. It's self service. The ambience is like you are in nature. It's an adorable, cozy and quaint place. We sat outside. Someone had left the trash gate open so we smelt trash throughout. There are many vegetarian options. I would surely go back again !

So glad I finally got a chance to stop by here! I saw this spot on social media for a while, came during a trip to LA for brunch with my friend. Interior is absolutely gorgeous, like all the reviews have stated- reminds me of cafes in Japan, or Miyazaki films with the plant vibe. The space is very small, we barely got seating in the outdoor area on a Saturday- parking was easy, lots of residential nearby. The workers were so friendly and food came out pretty quick- I was served the biggest poke bowl I've ever seen, and my friend got the sushi burrito. The ice matchas we got were good (a bit on the sweeter side), overall great value!

Staff are friendly and try to help you with the order genuinely. Food is fresh and they have a huge variety of food which includes teriyaki, sushi rolls, curry, soup and Asian inspired desserts.

This Yuko Kitchen location is absolutely adorable. It's blanketed with vegetation both indoors and outdoors. It makes you feel like you're eating outside in a rainforest or some sort and not in the middle of Los Angeles. There are both indoor and outdoor seating that accommodates to 2-4 people, but here are some longer tables that sits up to six for a bigger group. I always tell myself to try something new, but I always order the Chicken Special Plate that comes with teriyaki chicken, rice, salad, 4 pieces of spicy salmon rolls, shot of soup, & mini dessert for $17. As you can tell it gives a variety of servings and the portion is large too. You can't go wrong with this order tho! The service is great. You order your food at the counter and they provide you a number. You seat yourself so I recommend someone order and someone holds down a table if you see one open because it does get busy. They have an intercom so you can listen for your number if you're sitting outside. You also self serve in termed of utensils, water, trash, etc. There are bins and trash can adjacent to the entry door so you can't miss it. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and this location!

Great food! Tasty and good portions. The spicy salmon rolls in the chicken plate were the highlight of the plate! I can eat those all day long. The chicken itself was ok; it reminded me of the orange chicken from Panda. The salad was fresh and the soup was good. Overall I liked it, but I would recommend less salad. If you are around, try it. If nothing else for the zen/green ambiance.

I have never heard or been to this place but what a great surprise! You order at the counter and they give you a number for your order which they call out for a pick up. Service was friendly. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Very casual and you're surrounded by beautiful plants. I ordered the chicken udon soup. The noodles were yummy as was the broth. Huge pieces of chicken so very filling. They have great bobas here. Everything was fresh and delicious.

Such a cute place with good vibes and food! It was a self serve type of place and you order your food at the register. Something you must try is the strawberry matcha chocolate chip cookie! Sooo good and tasty. We found street parking around the block pretty easily! A huge plus was the fact that they were playing Spirited Away while we were eating our lunch! All off the plants were also so cute, and they even had some of them on sale.

Such a cute cafe, loved all the greenery inside. This cafe is kind of tucked away but such cute find. They have seating inside and out but it's pretty limited, luckily we got a spot inside since it was so hot on the day we came here. The food portions were larger than expected and everything was super fresh! The workers were super nice and explained the drink menu to us. Definitely recommend this place if you are into themed cafes or cafes with greenery or just want some great food!

Miracle Mile staple, this is a place I've been frequenting for years. The salads with albacore sashimi are my go to's and are absolutely delish. Cool vibes, good people, good food

This place is the most hipster place I've been to. The vibes are giving plant parent meets trust fund. The food is good but it's pricey in my opinion. We came on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed with people picking up and eating in. Seating was tough, my party had to sit in different tables because some lady needed a huge table all for herself. We sat surrounded by plants which was not really an experience I enjoyed. The service was ok, you order at the counter and pick up at the counter. My food took a while to come out, and the cashier had a little attitude.

This place quickly became one of my favorite lunch spots. Food is soooo yummy, calm and chill ambiance, and workers were so sweet! I recommend any of their bowls that come with a salad, choice of protein, and four rolls. Their mint lemonade was really good and refreshing too!

I'm constantly here ordering the same items I have never had a bad experience here, it's very cozy, good food, very lovely at night too! I also love ordering the apple mint lemonade 10/10

Ordered big ebisu, BBQ catfish bowlito, Uber mochi cookie. The catfish was the best thing we ordered a bit on the smaller side but would order again. Big ebisu was hard to eat, mostly mixed greens, could definitely get a better roll at an actual sushi place at the same price. Ube mochi cookie didn't taste like Ube and the textures weird (mochi yes I know but still weird) . Strange to ask for tips but have guests bus their own tables and pick up their own food but.... ok.

Good food, the homestyle teriyaki chicken was good. Different in a good way from typical teriyaki. The salad dressing had good flavor and the ambiance is like a forest/greenhouse/garden. Nice place to visit.

A perfect little spot for a green thumb enthusiasts. Love the green plant vibes here. Great fresh food and a very forest like atmosphere. Came here for an early dinner with a gf and left with a full stomach and A PLANT! They sell the plants they have hanging in the restaurant which I thought was so special. The staff grow and take care of the plants while they live on-site and of course get attached to every plant there so walking away with one of their babies makes you feel like you're giving their loved ones a good home. Fairly cheap and a huge variety of plants. Loved the food options. Healthy and vegan friendly too! So much to choose from but I landed on their poke salad which was massive and delicious. Every bite was super yummy. I added eel sauce to make it a bit sweeter but otherwise the albacore was delicious and fresh. Massive pieces of fish too. I didn't feel skimped at all. Very small tiny place. Found a good seat on their patio and parked just down the street. Typical La parking experience but such a fun place to dine. We'll be coming back for the food but most importantly for the plants.

A+ Ambiance - It's a super cute and clean location. A great garden cafe vibe! A Service - nice folks. You order at the counter and bus your plates when done. D Food - sadly, this was disappointing. We ordered the Chinese Chicken Salad, Teriyaki Bowl, and Spicy Salmon roll. Unfortunately, both chicken dishes tasted exactly the same. They use the same breaded chicken in both. The breaded chicken tastes liked orange chicken. It's super sweet and not great. The spicy salmon roll was soggy, lacked any flavor, and tasted off. For a meal that was $50+ we were left really disappointed. Aside from the lack of flavor and overall deliciousness, their portion sizes are good. Overall, we will not be going back.

Aesthetic space, large portions and extremely affordable prices. Highly recommend for a quick bite for lunch or dinner.

Stopped by a Saturday afternoon Location is rather small, indoor seating seats maybe 10-20 people max, but there's other seating outside. We picked up a Garlic Salmon bowl and Taco Rice bowl. Garlic Salmon bowl was good, with the fish being flavorful but not overly overpowering with garlic flavor, which was a big plus for me. The Jalapenos added a much welcome kick, and this felt like a light yet filling bowl. The star for me, however, was the Taco rice bowl. The ground beef is very flavorful and mixed with chickpeas which gives it an additional pleasant texture. Combined with the wonton strips, rice and other ingredients this is a deep, decadent, flavor-packed dish which is an absolute essential to get here. I will definitely be back, in particular for that taco rice bowl!

Coming here for dinner with friends was such a fun and warming experience! This is a small unassuming restaurant with very comforting vibes-- we came around 5:30pm on a Friday and sat inside. Since we beat the rush, we were able to really relax and enjoy the beautiful interior decor! Service was great, workers made small talk with you at the counter and the food came out quick when we went. The plates are really a great deal, and have everything you want: a "main," sushi roll, salad, soup, and dessert. The portions are huge! I ordered the chicken plate-- the chicken was a bit dry and I admit the sushi roll didn't feel as fresh. But the soup (carrot ginger) was phenomenal, salad had a yummy citrusy dressing, and the dessert was so shockingly good! Had a sampler of 3 cookies/blondies-- sesame matcha, matcha choco chip, and choco chip, with a bit of whipped cream. The matcha flavor was strong (which I LOVE), the texture was chewy, and the whipped cream was thick but light/airy. I also had a bite of my friends' catfish, and it was super soft and silky, and my other friend's minced beef had a deep miso flavor. I definitely think the vibes would be different sitting outside! I want to come again for lunch, sit outside, and enjoy the salmon bowl with lemonade next time (and check out the downtown location)

So much bang for my buck considering this place is on Wilshire in Miracle Mile. Chicken was a bit dry but flavorful nonetheless. The marinate paired very well with the rice. There was so much food on my plate that I didn't have room for the included desert. You order from the register, take a seat, and wait for your order to be delivered. You manage your own service - that is, you pickup your own utensils and water. You're also responsible for cleaning up after yourself. Hole in the wall for sure with a hipster/Japanese type ambiance. I can see myself coming back.

Cute place with a relaxing atmosphere. Tasty and healthy food, with friendly staff. I enjoyed the chill Jazz music and lo-fi playlist. Nice garden as well.
