"A restaurant in a stunning location, 20m above ground level in the tower of the emblematic Centro Niemeyer, with its superb views of the town. Taking its name from the Japanese word for “dream”, Yume provides chef Adrián San Julián with a platform to showcase his philosophy of sustainability and zero waste, hence the desire to use just one ingredient (such as onion, cauliflower, spinach, celeriac, cat shark etc) presented in many different ways in the same dish, at the same time exploring its different stages of preparation and intensity of flavours based around strong technique. The cuisine here is showcased on two impressive and bold menus: “Ejecutivo” (lunch from Tuesday to Friday) and the “Degustación” tasting option." - Michelin Inspector

Tasty asian cuisine for reasonable prices. Sushi was fresh and crispy duck breast was also very good. Service was quick, smiling and attentive to guests. Wide selection from various options including combinations for multiple people. All in all, we enjoyed our lunch and will definitely come again. Recommended.

Yume stands out as an exceptional Japanese restaurant nestled in Vienna's outskirts. The establishment offers an outstanding dine-in experience complemented by exquisite sushi creations at reasonable prices. A hidden gem for authentic Japanese cuisine away from the city Center. But at some sitting locations you Not as well Serviced than others.

Come here if you want a friendly, sometimes rowdy, dining experience. This was very refreshing compared to my average dining experience in Wien. As other reviews have mentioned, the food is fusion, but the fried rice I ordered was tasty nonetheless.

Food was delicious and fresh, very tasty. Went there around 8 p.m. on a Thursday and got the last free table for 2 (due to the fact that it was school holidays). Place is nice but very loud, some noise dampening / acoustic insulation would make a stay much more relaxing.

Absolutely amazing place! Excellent dishes, everything was very tasty, service was very friendly. We enjoyed our lunch very much. I can definitely recommend this place. Happy to come again.

Great restaurant, excellent service and food was tasty and affordable. Twice already they gave us schnapps for free, and a fried banana on the house. The owner is a real character and will say "Oh my God" at random intervals. Will definitely be coming back here!

Yume is one of my favorite asian restaurants in Vienna. It is always full but with 4 people you will get a table if you wait for 15 minutes most of the time. The waiters are professional and very nice. The variety of meals is amazing, you can get all the basics like bulgogi and salmon teriyaki. One thing I need to admit everything is quite greasy. All in all the food's quality is better than in other asian restaurants. The design of the place is quite modern and with the second room of the old café it has become really big, it is very unfortunate that the ambient sound is so loud there. On the other hand, the atmosphere is crazy. Sometimes it is like he's throwing a party at a club. The atmosphere can be crazy and electrifying ❤️

Yelp
Oh my god. Incredible Japanese food (teriyaki, sushi, salads) at an incredibly competitive price. This place is a gem.

Yelp
Wow! We are Americans living in Italy. We are staying at a nearby hotel and walked here because it was .2 miles. This place is a GEM! It is small and cozy- and the atmosphere is upbeat and FANTASTIC! We were greeted with smiles the moment we walked in. The place was absolutely slammed on a Wednesday night at 8 but we only waited 5 minutes. We can with our 2 year old daughter and she learned to use chopsticks. The owner (I assume by other reviews) was going from table to table passing out little jager bottles and doing (I assume) sake shots with tables who had a birthday or that he was speaking with regularly. The food was five stars DELICIOUS and the staff smiled the entire time. They gave my daughter a lanyard. I would 100% come back here! What an amazing, delicious restaurant.

Yelp
Quite possibly the best dining experience of my life. We were very lucky to be "upgraded" to sit in the dark room. A room in the back reserved for special occasions, with low lighting, sunken seating and an amazingly relaxed feel. What happened next was unexpected to say the least. The manager/owner entertained us constantly with games of rock-paper-scissors, dancing, jokes and even a strip tease! He was the life and soul of the party. Jagermiesters were given and drunk left right and centre as were his own special schnapps served in wooded boxes. The food was exceptional, so much sushi and extras and wine and fun and smiles. There were 10 of us in the group and honestly we couldn't have drunk, ate or laughed more than we did that night. The service throughout was exceptional, fun, friendly, efficient all that. When it came time for the bill it was simply split 10 ways and at first I thought they had made a mistake...... 30€ was all they were asking per head. We had drunk at least 10 bottles of wine, numerous beers, had a sushi ship starter that on the menu cost 60€ and each had a main course of our own! WOW. i would have paid just that much to sit in a corner and watch the show. The place is ALWAYS packed and I can see why now. Reserve at least 2 weeks in advance and if you're looking for a special meal with some friends then beg for the dark room.........

Yelp
Great little spot in Vienna. In the middle of nowhere you will find this small restaurant with lots of charisma. Always busy, booking a table might not help you but no worries because the owner will send you next doors to the pub while you wait, drinks on the house! Great meny and the owner Martin is part of the restaurant experience. Watch out for the free Jägermeister he'll give you and accational Saké.

Yelp
I can't rave about this place enough! This is one of my absolute favorite spots in Vienna! The owner, Martin, just takes this place over the top! When you walk in, you're greeted with a loud "OH MY GOD!" and Martin excitedly attends to all of his patrons, taking selfies and handing out schnapps. The food is delicious, but it's honestly Martin's friendly, happy personality that truly makes the experience.

Yelp
We went to Yume while on vacation in Vienna after a day of touring. The sushi was good. The fish was fresh, and the staff was eager to help. The menu is in Japanese and German but the staff made is easy to order. It's definitely a local place and not touristy in any way. When you walk in, there's a vibrant feeling to the place - everyone is greeted by the owner with a great big HALLO! We immediately felt welcome, even though we were new to Vienna and did not speak the language. The sushi was solid, but the real show was Martin - the owner. He greeted many of the guests by name, and the ones he did not know were soon his friends. Martin and his staff were crazy fun and they made the night one of the most memorable nights we've ever had. If you in Vienna, do yourself a favor and GO TO YUME.
