I came for lunch with my family and I have to say the Hainanese chicken was the best I’ve had in New York! I could see why it’s a popular dish! I loved the black peppercorn prawns, hokkien noodles, and everything else I ordered! The service was great and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The ingredients were fresh! I would come back here again!

Authentic Singaporean food in Flushing. Very clean, quaint location off the beaten path. Parking is not wonderful, but better than the street parking in downtown Flushing. The food is unique. You get some of the staples. Everyone loves the sweet chilli crabs, peppercorn crabs, hainese chicken, and oyster omelettes. All well portioned. Prices are on the higher end. The soft-shelled crabs weren't that many, but very tasty. Cash gives you a discount.

Authentic Singaporean food, cozy setting, nice and simple decor, food are tasty. Hainanese chicken is great, it's even came boneless. Squid ink fried rice with an sunny side up egg on top is recommended as well. Street parking only. They accept credit card for orders over $20. Monday to Friday lunch menu is great and serve in good sized portion.

SINGAPORE 🇸🇬 Eat the World NYC review: Yummy Tummy Asian Bistro has a menu full of Southeast and Far Asian foods, but focuses its heart on the cuisine of Singapore, a nation with an incredible mashup itself. Anyone who has traveled to Singapore comes away with an awe from the food. Simple eateries are everywhere, but most pack such an immense amount of deliciousness. There are collisions of culture that make the food so satisfying, as if it is growing and evolving right before your eyes. No matter what ethnicity a resident of the country might be, it is the cuisine that is an immediate unifier. ° It is nice to see the emergence of another casual Singaporean eatery since the closing of wonderful Chomp Chomp in the West Village. While you may not walk out of the doors like you walk out of the food courts and hawker stalls of Singapore, skipping and whistling after amazing meals, the mostly Chinese-influenced Singaporean standards here are done pretty well and worth seeking out. ° Behind maybe only chicken rice and air conditioning, soft shell crab might be the third most loved thing in Singapore, and you cannot go long without being invited to join new friends to eat it. One of the most popular ways is to deep fry it and smother it in chilli sauce, which they do here as well ($28). I remember being overwhelmed with heat in Singapore, and while this dish is served with a slow burn that eventually comes up, it may be worth asking for some extra heat to eat the dish as intended.

They have updated their menu and the new offerings are great. More Middles Eastern and European influences but they still have their original menu buried somewhere in there. The spicy salted egg calamari is a must try, very decadent. Will be back to try new options soon.

First time to this new Singapore and Mediterranean cruise restaurant. Service was good and the food was excellent, especially the authentic Singapore boneless Hainanese chicken (except the wings). We will definitely come back to try out other either Singapore or Mediterranean food. We will definitely go back to try out other dishes.

Came in here after the lunch rush. Ordered the Hainan chicken and rice lunch special, the Singaporean pork rib herb soup (not totally sure about the name), and the oyster omelette. Out of all the dishes, the omelette was my favorite. Everything was great, but the brininess of the oysters were great. Service was a little slow at times, but very polite and welcoming. Bathroom was clean.

What a place to try some new things, I used to always come to joah but sadly they are gone. Anyway this place was sinaporean/taiwanese food we found out the chef/owner is from singapore and his wife is taiwanese. We made sure on the weekend to make a reservation, so we were seated with little time to wait. I didn't imagine this place to be super packed but there were quite a bit coming in. Upstairs they have a private party room that you can rent out for events with ktv machine up there ! So we ordered some drinks, the lychee and pineapple drink with the ice coffee. We took a bit to decide what to get because there were so many choices. We went with the Soft Shell Chili crab, next time we will get dungenous crab but they need a notice before hand so they can prepare it! Love the chili sauce with the fried donut to scoop up the sauce. Bah Kut Teh a spare rib mushroom bone soup in tea broth. It reminded me of something my mom cooks when I was younger, there is a black vinegar sauce with it to dip the spare rib in, it will change the flavor! Oath Oath Supposedly its supposed to be smaller and spicier in singapore but I wasn't complaining it was a yummy treat in that leaf skin. Sambal Skate Fish Special Skate fish which looks like a stingray, the flavoring of this sauce was great with the chicken rice! A bit spicy for some so be cautious! But I loved it. The chili crab and this were the two I devoured my rice. Last but not least hainese chicken with chicken rice! Very yummy, their sauce and seasoning was made from scratch. Next time I think were going try some of the noodles and taiwanese options. I would say weekends definitely make a reservation.
