No-frills handroll experience that focuses on the essentials. The handrolls are solid across the board, but the standout here is actually the spicy albacore crispy rice. The albacore is soft, enhanced by the truffle soy sauce. But it’s the crunchy onions, generously piled on top, that enhance it further. I was even using them to garnish my handrolls. The wasabi peas were the right temperature of warm, an addictive snack to munch on before the handrolls. The tuna, albacore, salmon, shrimp tempura, and yellowtail handrolls all consist of fresh fish and fairly crisp seaweed. However, the rice-to-fish ratio felt a little off for me. The rolls were substantial, but I did feel the rice could be toned down a bit. Still, the quality of the ingredients, paired with the efficient sushi bar service, made for a satisfying meal. Good value for the price. The space is light and airy, the right mix of casual and contemporary for a quick handroll fix.

Amazon hand roll. I only had avocado cucumber hand roll and it was good. The Brussel sprouts and shishito peppers are delicious. The bar design was cool. Staff were friendly. There are only bar seats no dining tables and you have to wait until all parties arrived to be seated. Overall I had a pretty good experience.

I visited Yunomi Handroll on a Sunday around lunchtime, and while some elements of the meal were enjoyable, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. To start with the positives: the Unagi was flavorful and well-prepared—tender, with just the right amount of sweetness and char. The fried shrimp appetizer was another highlight: crispy, hot, and perfectly seasoned. Service at the counter was fast and efficient once we were seated, and the food came out quickly. Unfortunately, getting to that point was a whole ordeal. Parking was a nightmare, and once we arrived, there was a wait to be seated despite I got waitlisted 45 minutes ago. Once seated, we found the seating to be very uncomfortable—tight spacing, stiff stools, and a general lack of comfort that made it hard to settle in and enjoy the meal. For a place where you’re meant to sit and eat rolls fresh as they come out, the setup felt rushed and cramped. Bottom line: Yunomi has some tasty menu items, particularly the Unagi and fried shrimp, and the kitchen moves fast—but the logistics and environment make it hard to recommend, especially on a busy weekend. If you go, consider visiting at an off-hour and prepare to eat quickly.

Yunomi Handroll is an absolute gem! The food is delicious, with fresh, high-quality ingredients that make every bite incredible. The spicy albacore on crispy rice is an absolute must-try; perfectly crispy, flavorful, and just the right amount of heat. On top of that, the staff is so friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even better. I’m glad I just moved to walking distance from this absolutely gem!

6 hand roll set 35$ is not bad Handroll quality not bad They are busy so soemthing they forget ur order But the server is nice they make it up for u They dont really have much high quality roll So its more like a location for quick dinner and quick easy first date. All bar sears

Incredible handroll specialty restaurant. Amazing choice of beers and sake. Loved the appetizers and our favorite handroll was the yunomi special. Bar seating only, but a wonderful experience. Decently priced for the quality of food and atmosphere provided. Lovely place for specialty occasions and birthdays.

Handrolls are sizeable and pretty dang spectacular. Service is friendly and top notch. The only thing that sucks here is the seating if you are short. No where to put your feet so they just uncomfortably dangle while your legs go numb LOL and the tiny bar stool was much smaller than my butt. Other than that, just get in my tummy and take my money! 💋

Really love this place. Waited 30 minutes for a table on a Friday night. The seating is around the kitchen/ bar top area and it’s nice and quiet. Perfect date night spot. They season the seaweed perfectly that’s why the hand rolls are out of this world. We each got the 6 hand roll combo and couldn’t even finish the 6th it was so filling. Our favorites were the spicy tuna, salmon and the scallop. Our bill came out at to around $70 for two, not bad at all. Highly recommend this place!
