The 22 Best Restaurants In Park City, Utah

"Yuta at The Lodge at Blue Sky Auberge is a 25-minute drive from downtown Park City, but it’s worth it for an all-out splurge meal at a stunning resort. Yuta, which means “mountain top” in the indigenous Ute language, feels special and completely remote, with dining room windows that overlook the surrounding Wasatch-Uinta Mountains. The chef incorporates influences from the diverse populations that have lived in the area and utilizes the on-site garden to create a menu featuring things like elk chop, sweet potato soup, and roasted sea trout that get cooked in the kitchen’s large wood-fired hearth." - jene shaw

What a special gem! This is a must visit restaurant if you’re in the area. The hotel and restaurant are tucked up in the mountains (even Google maps was confused on how to get there😉), and the sunset views are spectacular. Ony provided excellent service, Meredith the manager was very welcoming, and the chef and staff take great pride in their food preparation. Prices are fairly high, but well worth it for a special dinner or occasion. Thank you for a wonderful dinner and memorable experience.

Stepping into The Lodge at Blue Sky and its signature restaurant, Yuta, feels like entering a sanctuary of rustic elegance. The warm, inviting atmosphere greets you immediately, whether you’re enjoying a cozy moment by the roaring fireplace or perusing their bar’s impressive whiskey collection while waiting for your table. As dinner begins, you’re guided into a beautifully designed dining room, where seasonal, locally inspired décor sets the perfect mood. The ambiance is quintessential mountain lodge—warm, intimate, and effortlessly sophisticated. The service is impeccable, with friendly and knowledgeable staff who elevate the experience by walking you through their extensive offerings. The drink and wine menu is a standout—a remarkable 78-page collection featuring a diverse range of wines at various price points. The staff’s thoughtful recommendations help tailor the experience to your tastes. The seasonal menu is equally impressive, offering dishes that are as visually stunning as they are flavorful. Standouts include the tender elk chop, succulent lamb, and perfectly cooked sea bass—all beautifully prepared and bursting with seasonal flavors. For dessert, the chocolate mousse is a rich, decadent treat that strikes the perfect balance of indulgence, while the mango cake offers a refreshing and vibrant end to your meal. From the breathtaking interior design to the attentive service and unforgettable cuisine, Yuta at The Lodge at Blue Sky delivers a dining experience that’s both luxurious and approachable. This is a destination I’ll eagerly return to on my next visit to the area!

Google
We had 2 dinners at Yuta during our week stay at Blue Sky. The unique dishes were all delicious and flavor packed! We absolutely loved the drinks, wine guidance and warm flavorful food. The staff were all so knowledgeable, pleasant and extremely attentive. We could tell that they all loved their jobs and have appreciation for the top quality cuisine they offer! Yuta isn’t just a meal, it’s definitely an incredible experience!

Google
A great restaurant still to be all the way ready to be just outstanding in the Michelin league I guess they intend to play. The place and the atmosphere is fantastic, with the kitchen wide open welcoming the guests upon arrival. Service is just correct (didn't help that much when being asked about specific details of the dishes), the food is very good, handled very carefully, with vegetables from the organic farm the lodge has and that you should visit, and very nicely prepared (portions quite small though, from my point of view, specially entries and appetiser), I wish they were a little less pricey so you could try some more. Good wine selection in American wines (not so good in Spanish, for example) and great views to the mountains make it a great experience overall, of course if you can afford it (over 200$ per head with average wine plus the 'mandatory' tip)

Google
Yuta is always incredible from start to finish. To me, it’s certainly the best restaurant in the Park City area. The freshness of the farm-sourced ingredients shows through in each of the chef’s creations. Service is impeccable yet unpretentious, and servers are amazingly knowledgeable not only about the food and wine, but also the property itself. The adjacent bar also has wonderful cocktails and a world-class view.

Google
Yuta is the bar and restaurant in the Lodge at Blue Sky, a 5 star, $2100 a night resort. Food and beverages are similarly effete and expensive, but well worth it if you’re into fine dining. The place can be hard to find. If using Google Maps or Apple Maps, search on “The Lodge at Blue Sky,” not “Yuta.” Also note: Blue Sky is a gated resort. If you’re not a registered guest, you’ll need a reservation with Yuta to gain admission.

Google
Blue sky is a great experience if you have not been. Its not in Park City. Its around a 12-15 minute drive to the restaurant from Kimball Junction. Their food is quite creative and thought out. If you want to get away from Main Street - to me this is the top 3 restaurant in the Park City area?

Google
Me and my boyfriend had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant during our stay at the Lodge at Blue Sky. The breakfast was flavorful and the wonderful view of the snowy mountaints is one of a kind. We love to drink tea and they had an amazing selection of teas, my favorites were the nectar sun and morrocan oasis. Our dinner experience was also great. We headed to the bar for more intimate and cozy setting. David at the bar was super attentive and knowledgeable and his recommendations for appetizers and beer were great. Definitely try their chicken wings! We also tried their burger which was delicious and a perfect size. Juan Carlos, the Food and Beverage Manager also greeted us to make sure everything is to our liking. Definitely a beautiful place including the service, food and decor.

Yelp
So amazing, the service was unmatched, the food was the best I've ever tasted, and the scenery was beautiful. Must try the butter flight!!!

Yelp
I have lived in Park City for 30 years and I travel extensively and hands down the service at YUTA is the best! YUTA sits amongst a stunning mountain back drop with great valet parking. Once inside Josh mixed up delicious cocktails and our server Elizabeth guided us on a palette pleasing evening that was tasty until the last bite of our dessert. I highly recommend this gem.....however may not be for kids (sorry)

Yelp
This beautiful restaurant is the main restaurant at the lodge at blue sky in park city. We had breakfast here for 2 mornings and each time was a great experience. Service is stellar and views are fantastic.

Yelp
Disappointing. I've had this restaurant on my list for quite a while. After seeing the reviews from fellow yelpers whose palates I trust implicitly, I'm convinced something drastically changed here in the last year. Located in the Blue Sky lodge, described as "Bond-villain" aesthetic on the outside with modern luxury inside, the staff were absolutely professional, warm, and attentive. The restaurant, however, was one let down after another. All around, very low effort on food presentation and flavor. Nothing remarkable or memorable about the food except for how disappointing it was. The salad was bland and bitter. The pork rib resembled spam, honestly. The story of the Horse Theif cocktail is heartwarming, but the drink itself left a lot to be desired. We spent over $300 on our meal and wished we had skipped it, entirely. We were also absolutely shocked to see a bottle of wine priced at $22,000. Thinking it was a typo, we verified with our server. I can't imagine a restaurant offering this kind of product without a menu to match it.

Kendall M.

Yelp
Absolutely loved our trip to Yuta. Fantastic food, views and service. From glasses of wine and a good chat with the sommelier, to amazing meals and a brief walk after dinner. We ordered the lobster tortellini, caviar hash browns, sesame hand roll , tomato salad, beet salad, wagyu tenderloin and striped bass. So tasty and gorgeous presentation.

Holly L.

Yelp
Solid 3. The food was just okay. Started with the Bibb salad and it tasted like salty old grocery bag salad. Loved the story behind the horse thief cocktail, but it wasn't great. The pork was good but to say it came with kale was an overstatement--not even a full leaf. Nice servers but I was also freezing the whole time. Wouldn't recommend it for the price
google avatar

Yelp
Lobster tail was tough. Waiters served party members the wrong dishes and we didn't know until we had eaten half the dishes because the food was artsy. Too hard to hear in the restaurant even when it is only half full. Charged a second $4 to our party member who requested a refill on their iced tea. stylish but not substance.

Yelp
Went here on whim while driving back to park city from Wyoming. As a fine dining location, the portion sizes are on the smaller size so we ordered 2 appetizers, 1 entree per person, and a dessert to share. We left full and satisfied! I always admire the science behind fine dining flavors. Normally I'm not a mushroom or raw meat kind of person, but the Yuta chef made those things and everything else taste so good! We would definitely return for a special occassion. My husband wants to renew our vows here someday. Here is what we ordered: Wine - Cab, Hall, Napa (great full bodied option!) Ceviche app Beef tartare (liked this one more) Short rib entree (AMAZING, husband got this, wish I had) Iberico pork entree (good, but liked short rib more, the peaches were ) Raspberry S'more dessert (WOW!!!! Still dreaming of this)

Yelp
An incredible menu bursting with originality, it was a wonderful experience and the design is incredible, but I would never go again, not my scene. I felt like I was on the verge of offending the staff at every turn. Exclusive and fancy, but I felt actually felt uncomfortable the entire time. A fun and tucked away location where a cult might live, a very fancy cult.

Yelp
Location it's stunning!! Dessert are so delicious you literally can't stop eating them .. we have a blast !

Dani G.

Yelp
Yuta is in the outskirts of Park City in a hotel-spa that is simply gorgeous. This is one of their restaurants. It is talked about often and it earns its accolades! A comfortable restaurant and ambiance, with elevated food and drinks. Every dish exudes freshness from the beautiful land around you and from far exotic places. The meats and fish dishes are superb as you recover from small bite appetizers that will have you asking for more. Drinks are sophisticated and sommelier knows his stuff - test him, you will be impressed and glad. For a nice romantic dinner or a gathering of friends and family it's a marvelous place. Reserve around sundown and experience the gorgeousness of Utah!

Yelp
Great food, service and ambiance. I very much look forward to another culinary experience at Yuta. My wife and I loved the beets salad, Yukon fritters, lamb and beef tenderloin (this was quite exceptional). The only thing I would change about the meal was the dessert. Although we really did like the mousse, it would be that much better by ditching the semi dried red cherries and just using the fresh ones. Thanks Yuta for a very nice experience.

Yelp
Man, I wanted to like this so much more. The ambience, location and service is what you pay for - and for that it's top tier. With that said, the dollar to value ratio is way off for the food. It was good, but nowhere near close to the price you pay for it. Honestly pretty forgettable (FWIW I've eaten at Michelin star restaurants with food that was memorable and even at those restaurants it wasn't as expensive as here). Don't normally write reviews but I had to as I felt "got" at the end, given what we were charged. Just know that you're going there for decent food but mainly the location and you're going to pay an arguably insane amount for it.
google avatar

Michael P.

Yelp
Chef yelling at his kitchen staff because the food plated correctly. Throwing plates, not very professional. Servers saying you need to put in entire order otherwise the kitchen will not send food. Not sure why management let the previous chef leave but this new change doesn't seem for the positive. Hope the chef gets his anger under control. Not a calm or an elegant meal. We will try back next year see if anything has changed.

Haley F.

Yelp
a very fancy meal with nice ambiance if you're looking for that, however the food was rather average especially at the price point. we did the new year's eve tasting menu and while the portions were generous, multiple of the courses were subpar and unimpressive. the steak course was good, though

Spencer W.

Yelp
Disappointment. Service fell below standard. Food was forgettable. Very very salty chicken and short rib.
google avatar

Yelp
Well I have now found my favorite restaurant in all of Utah. Yuta is the bomb!!! Every dish was exceptional!!We came here for the birthday of my son and I am absolutely convinced this is the best. Enjoy.

Yelp
Great place for dinner in wanship at the Blue sky resort. Went here with 6 folks. We started out with the tuna appetizer which was great and several of us had the steak which was amazing. We had great dessert with with the brownie and ice cream and the ice cream sandwich with fresh cookies. Could do better on the cocktails but it is an amazing overall experience worth coming back for again and again

John M.

Yelp
The drive to the restaurant is so nice! You'll enjoy a pleasant drive up the mountain that hides a truly high-end resort. The dining area is slightly rustic but otherwise contemporary. The scenery is amazing and the service, from the valet to the servers to the hostess is nothing less than great. The food, well it was amazing! The pasta is made in-house (as it should be) and the short rib is some of best I have ever had - unforgettable! The wine selection is "lean and mean" hitting the right notes with the menu items with a few different chardonnay options (light and even lighter) to reds that are very complementary to the heartier selections. To finish, the complementary sweets are the perfect ending. I had also ended with the cheese board, and it seemed to create an even better balanced finish. Lastly, bring your wallet, as for two people each with a couple of glasses of wine and a couple of appetizers and main dishes (gratuity is included - even for two) is about $250, and so worth it!

Yelp
We decided to splurge and have dinner in the alpenglobe. It proved to be perfect as it provided privacy, a view, and a feeling of a personalized experience. The globe is spacious enough and the staff wore mask (properly!) at all times. They provided us with a Bose speaker so we could listen to music as well (a simple but really nice touch). We had several dishes. The octopus was solid but tuna appetizer is otherworldly. You MUST try that if you come. The kale salad was great as well. I ordered the steak which was flavorful and excellently prepared. The waiter, Tim, made a great wine suggestion that my wife loved and also paired with the dinner. Great food, great vibes, please visit.

Yelp
Extraordinary food in a very intimate, refined environment. The Lodge at Blue Sky has been fastidiously adhering to COVID-19 distancing; their occupancy rates have been hovering around 20% and we were the only customers in the dining room for a late lunch. One of the best kept secrets in the state! The lunch menu is concise, but quite delicious. The complimentary house-made rolls arrived warm in a cute cast-iron skillet and were served with a lovely lavender butter. We ordered a shrimp and octopus campechana (sort of like a Mexican ceviche in a tomato cocktail sauce), a beet salad, a house salad with grilled chicken and a perfectly-cooked bavette steak. Everything was perfectly prepared and delicious. Dessert was an unreal passion fruit pavlova with a meringue that I can only describe as ethereal! Service was excellent---the waitstaff constantly checked on us and were masked at all times. Expect typical Park City prices---we paid around $125 for lunch for two, including dessert and a cocktail.

Yelp
Just left Yuta and had the most special dinner. There's no where like it. Food was amazing, service was amazing, ambiance was amazing. I don't have a single complaint. It's truly a slice of heaven. Every morsel of food was incredible. The tuna appetizer and salmon was what I ordered and I've never tasted anything better. My husband had the rib eye and was also smitten. What an incredible place. Do not miss out on this gem.

Yelp
WOAH! Hidden gem for sure. On a recent visit to Park City we were trying to find a cool restaurant for after our snow mobileing adventure. To say this was a jackpot is an understatement. From the killer Prix Fixe brunch menu with interesting and innovative culinary options, to the view that this resort has, its truly a must see in Utah. Our brunch was amazing. The drive up the mountain is so stunning, and upon arrival at the resort you are welcomed with breathtaking views down into the valley. It was like nothing I've ever seen! Such a cool vibe. Tranquil while hip and fun. I cant wait to return and stay at the resort.

M K.

Yelp
We drove up for an overnight "staycation" at The Lodge at Blue Sky... we booked Yuta for dinner. It was like icing on a decent cake! The meal was exceptional - but we attribute that to our lovely attendant, Cheyenne! She was so personable and gave us the best recommendations for food selections! Honestly, whether you stay on property or get a driver in just for dinner-- it is such a nice date outing! If you didn't like it... then you obviously weren't served by Cheyenne! Cheers! Morning follow-up: Service by Jody was a 10 too! The lemon poppy seed pancake is a must! Which I'm embarrassed to say that was in addition to our delicious egg dishes. (Jody got us a "kids portion" to help us mentally justify our over indulgence! Ha)

Yelp
We have been visiting Yuta since early 2020. EVERY visit has been exemplary. Service (josh and Lauren in the bar) (CHRIS rocks it in the dining room!!!, Plus Christian and Elizabeth and Tim, second level sommelier ) are professional and conversational. Each server shares personal pluses and minuses. Fine dining with an 'I care' attitude. Great ambience!
google avatar

Aim C.

Yelp
The most amazing experience I've had in a long time. Presentation, service and taste of all the dishes we ordered was outstanding. Chef Galen Zamarra is a visionary.
google avatar

K F.

Yelp
Had a dinner in the restaurant. Food is just amazing. Highly recommend their deserts which are great.

Stacey L.

Yelp
We went to brunch at Yuta and it might be the most beautiful place on the planet! The service and food and drinks were so very good, but the ricotta pancakes were not good at all so avoid them - very dry and tasted strange. Everything else was amazing and delicious and we would definitely go again!

Matt M.

Yelp
Great food and ambiance and great service! I had the duck and it was fantastic with a lot of fat on it! It's a bit off the beaten path but a fun adventure IMO.
google avatar

Yelp
First of all, let's clear out some confusion, Yuta restaurant is different from the Blue Sky Ranch. Yuta is part of the Auberge Resort Collection from Napa, CA. Yuta changes their menu every season so I always have something to look forward to every quarter. The food? EXQUISITE! The ambience? COZY YET MAGICAL. I've never seen so much elks in my life ever before! The drive to the parking lot is amazing! So, there's only one way for you to find out if I am telling the truth- VISIT! :)

Denise S.

Yelp
Beautifully designed restaurant. Very sleek and modern. I like that it's never super noisy even when they are fully booked. Service is always impeccable. The salmon and hamachi crudo are delicious. Can't go wrong with their steaks. Great for date night or group dinners!
google avatar

Joseph K.

Yelp
The best restaurant in Salt Lake City. (Really seems like the only modern fine dining atmosphere in SLC)
google avatar

Claudia K.

Yelp
I am not a food critic so I will not attempt to sound like one. Plain and simple, come to Yuta if you want an outstanding dining experience. My husband and I got the 4 course menu curated by Chef Zamarra and absolutely everything was incredible. I'm still thinking about that Bison Tataki. The textures of every dish and the layering of flavors is unparalleled to any restaurant I've tried in Park City. Go and experience this restaurant for yourself, you will not be disappointed! Also, be prepared to spend a few coins here however it is so worth it.

O K.

Yelp
One of the better dining experiences I've had in some time. Elizabeth was an incredible host that made our party feel at home and suggested some menu items that blew our mind. I highly recommend the Lamb shank!
google avatar

Neda H.

Yelp
By far one of my favorite restaurants in the area! The food is delicious and the cocktails are very yummy. They also have a bar area separate from the restaurant with a bar menu that's really great and fun for group outings.
google avatar

Kristen G.

Yelp
When I departed Yuta, I was sure to give a high-five and handshake to the Chef with a sincere thank you and job well done to the other kitchen staff along wIth our superb and down-right real and super foodie waiter, Cristian!!!! It takes a lot for me to get impressed by food, but thIs meal was superb! I'll leave all the eloquently descriptive reviews to the pros, but I can honestly say the food items we tried had everything I love in a good meal and dining experience! 1. The portions, quality and service matched the price. 2. Food was fresh and in close proximity to the restaurant and season. 3. The dishes had flavor, complexity yet balance and were unique. We had the octopus, mushroom soup, rib-eye and salmon and ALL were excellent and made me continuously say "wow" while shaking my head! I enthusiastically recommend this dining experience--- and you'll even get to enjoy a beautiful drive, ambiance, hotel and a nice drink at the bar just watch out for the Elk on the drive up! Ps: this hotel and restaurant are close to Highwest Distillery!

JJ P.

Yelp
Wow. We booked this on Open Table to celebrate a very special birthday. We picked a time slot and showed up early. Not only did the waiter make us feel guilty for choosing that time slot (how would we know?) by mentioning the inconvenience numerous times, he implied that we should rush, so the cook staff could clean up and prepare for dinner. So we did to be nice, but if Yuta is taking $200+ of my money, I think I had the right to enjoy the experience. On top of that, the food was mostly mediocre. We paid fixed-price for a 3-course brunch. We got maybe 2 or 2 1/2 courses? The drinks and apps were delicious. The main we chose came out as two eggs, one piece of bacon, one piece of dry sausage, one piece of pork belly. No carbs, no seasoning, nothing else. Not even bread. (But why bread plates?) I could've made something much yummier at home! Then we got a single plate with three of the tiniest macaroons and three of the tiniest truffles. We're a family of FOUR and these were literally the size of my thumb-tip. That would've been okay if they had great flavor, but they just tasted like sweetness, nothing that I'd intentionally buy. For a fancy restaurant taking so much of our money, I expected delectable flavors and the right to sit and enjoy the beautiful view without guilt. I'm actually fuming. It's a shame because we're Park City locals and would've returned for many more special occasions.

Yelp
Simply put, Yuta was fabulous. From the moment you walk into the restaurant, you realize you are in for something special. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The menu is eclectic. We had the 4 course tasting menu with wine pairing, and enjoyed each item that was served. If you are looking for a special night out...this is the place. Enjoy!

Kacy Q.

Yelp
My first visit to the new restaurant at Blue Sky Ranch. Beautiful setting and dining room Outrageous prices. Marinated eggplant was basically roasted eggplant dip - not at all what was expected. The salad described as charred avocado ceasar had absolutely no resemblance to a ceasar salad. The avocado edges were black but hardly charred, the lettuce was julienned and the dressing was a vinaigrette. Overall, not a place requiring a repeat visit.

Marisa M.

Yelp
Definitely give this place a try! They did an amazing job at a party I was recently at! The service is incredible and so attentive and the ambiance is just lovely and so different. I didn't get a chance to eat the food but my husband and friends said it was delicious. The drinks were also super creative! Thanks for taking such good care of our group!

Bibianna Y.

Yelp
This place is located at the most beautiful setting by 5 star hotel. Unfortunately the food is not up to par and service is so so for a 5 star hotel. I was impressed with the surroundings but food no.

Preet P.

Yelp
This place and hotel is simply stunning - like a Bond villain liar lol. It has great food, amazing cocktails but the best part is the staff. Violet at the bar is sensationally wonderful. Cannot recommend this place more

Lauren C.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this restaurant for a while. It's so worth the scenic drive through the mountains to get there! Cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The food was excellent, the drinks were amazing and the ambiance was wonderful. To top it all off, our server was friendly and helpful, which always makes for a much more pleasant experience. Our party had a great time. This is a fun place to come with friends, and also for a date night. Highly recommend!

Amiel L.

Yelp
Farm to table fresh. Really creative use of ingredients. The servers are friendly and wonderful. It's an experience!! Fantastic!!
