Zalat Pizza

We stopped by for my nephew’s birthday because all he wanted was a really good cheese pizza—and he said this was the best cheese pizza he’s ever had! We got him a personal cheese pizza, and the rest of us decided to try the beef pepperoni after realizing it was the pepperoni. We ended up ordering two large Master Class pizzas and the personal cheese, and our total was about $57, which felt like a steal—especially compared to what we spent on burgers the night before. Zalat is a walk-up and order spot (no dine-in seating), but that worked perfectly for us since we planned to eat at home. The staff was friendly and engaging, and we noticed how clean the place was—they were actively tidying up while the kitchen was busy. The pizza itself was excellent. I honestly haven’t had a takeout pizza this good in a long time. The beef pepperoni had great flavor, and the crust was just right. Just a heads-up: while the pepperoni is beef, not all their toppings are halal or kosher. Their supreme pizza does include pork items, so if that matters to you, stick to the pepperoni or veggie options. Great experience all around, definitely recommend!

Zalat Pizza does it again. Year after year they really keep killing it. I stopped by the shop last night and grabbed two of their new mini pizzas and they were fantastic. Same quality as the larger pizzas, just in a normal human size. Perfect for a late night dinner. I can’t say enough about this place. The product is always good, the people are nice, and the flavors are consistently delicious. I go here as much as I’m able to.

The pizza here is always on point! I enjoy the Buffalo Chicken Pizza Lemmon pepper wings. Claudia was working there last night and she was so nice and made sure I had all the extras I needed. Great pizza great service no cap.

Ordered off DoorDash and to no one's surprise DoorDash is awful and zalat did not get my order. DoorDash had a hard time refunding me per usual but zalat went out of its way to give me an extra large and a coupon for a free extra large for the next time. Manager was great. Super kind and generous.

Ordered through 3rd party delivery so we were able to get their food outside of their normal delivery area. Pizza was great and their homemade ranch dippers were a great compliment. Nice choice for after an evening flight to Dallas Love field.

DISCLAIMER - I had an issue where I ordered through a third party and they wind up stealing my food. I went to Zalat to try to resolve the issue, or at least try to get a better understanding on what happened because it wasn’t clear due to the events. I spoke to Claudia and another gentleman, and they explained what must have happened. Although I would have typically had to go though the carrier to resolve to dispute, the Zalat staff was accommodating and had great customer service—putting me and my needs first. This is the first time I’ve had an issue with this outside party in this manner, but Zalat made sure that it didn’t affect my view on them or the brand. I will continue to come here, and thank you both again for all of your help! And the pizza was amazing as always!

Quit feeding the homeless after hours. You’ve created a huge issue in the neighborhood with homeless encampment going up. There are better ways to help.

When I want Pizza(I'm Sicilian, so it's often), I keep coming back to Zalat Pizza on Lemmon Ave. The Staff is so wonderful and nice. The pizza is mouthwatering delicious ! I recommend Zalat Pizza to all my friends. I send photos of the pizzas to my brother in another state to make him jealous. lol! I want a Zalat Pizza really bad today! MP & NC PS - Our Dog Tony loves the crust!

I've ordered pizza here twice and both times had a great experience. So far this is my go to pizza place in the area. So many vegetarian options and I love the ranch that comes with it

Food was really great! We got the Buffalo chicken pizza which was awesome and the sriracha ranch sauce that came with it was amazing!! Service was wonderful. And the vibes were great!

Claudia went above and beyond to ensure that our specialty order was handled with care. Great customer service with a slice of a heaven.

Insanely good pizza! Randomly came here and ordered their margarita pizza. Had one slice and ended up eating the WHOLE box before I even made it home. Not sure what they did. But I'll be back!! Pro tip: order ahead so you are good to go as soon as you pull up!

After trying to decide on dinner for hours, my husband finally decided that he was craving New York Style pizza & Zalat Pizza did not disappoint. Ordered to go- delivery & timing were great, & despite the pizza not being oven hot (probably because of delivery) we were satisfied with our order! The menu offers a variety of pizza options, including all- beef pepperoni which isn't common. They have a reaper challenge in which they make one slice of pizza insanely hot & of course you know we had to do it just for the hahas.. We ordered an 18inch cheese pizza with a reaper roulette slice just for fun, & it was flavorful, with the right amount of cheese & sauce. The pizza came with a small container of ranch, so be sure to ask for extra if your dips are your thing! Definitely authentic NewYork Style! Pizza usually isn't our go to but we will definitely be returning & adding pizza nights to our rotation - we will be back!

I order from Zalat on occasion and a bit disappointed on having to pay for extra ranch and it come less than half full on some of them. I requested a refund on the particular items from Uber eats and was denied. A bit silly. Don't charge for something that you skimp on filling a container on.

The Sweet Revenge Pizza is the absolute BEST!!! I can't get enough of it!!! I strongly recommend you try it!!! It's the basil and bacon jelly for me!!

I don't really get the hype of this place. Decent pizza but not the best. Take out only. I ordered the Nashville hot which would've been good if there wasn't so much sauce on it. My favorite was the pretzels and beer cheese.

I have ordered from here several times, I love that they offer a gluten free crust, which is necessary for my diet, I got a pho pizza this time and it was possibly the best pizza I have ever had. It really did taste like pho. I substituted meat for mushrooms because I am not a huge fan of meat on my pizza. So flavorful and I also could drink the sriracha ranch sauce that comes with it.... It is amazing! This is my favorite pizza place and I can't wait to order again. Thank you for all of the unique flavor options and for providing a gluten free crust!

Pizza is soft, they say to order in their website. Don't trust it. Their pizza delivery person will not deliver it. Use DoorDash, it may be more expensive, but at least your order won't disappear. Also the pizza is mid.

The pizza that Zalat makes are always fantastic and satisfying . This location is mainly takeout only and the service is pretty fast. Srirancha dipping sauce is always a must . I usually get the master class or a custom topping pizza which ranges from about $17-20 most times. Ordering from the app is useful and convenient especially since you earn reward points. Love the creativity and tasty combinations for their unique pizzas. Have yet to have a bad pizza from Zalat. A must try!

Zalat is the BEST PIZZA in Dallas, TX!! Everyone is always so friendly, and the food is always piping hot! My favorite is the garlic pepperoni pizza. You honestly can't wrong with anything on the menu! Check them out, you won't regret it!

Love the tantalizing flavor of the Pesto veggie pizza when you used to have it! It's so tasty and love that it's plant based and gluten free! Please offer more flavors for vegan and gluten free beyond the one.

LOVE ZALAT! My new favorite place to order pizza from. Ordered the elote pizza with pepperoni, margherita pizza, and Nashville hot chicken & pickles. Pizzas are packed with flavor and each ingredient is very fresh. Slices are huge too. Must drizzle on the Sriracha ranch they give on the side. Can't go wrong with any pizza you order here. The elote with pepperoni pizza was my favorite. The Nashville hot chicken & pickles was good too, but very spicy!

I was scrolling through Yelp trying to find a new pizza place to try and found Zalat. I was so happy with my choice! They have so many different kinds of pizza and some are very creative creations. But I was boring and just got the cheese. Next time I may be more adventurous! The pizza was delicious by itself but their sriRANCHa dipping sauce is amazing and definitely elevated the flavors. Delivery was super easy, convenient and fast!

Ordered a sweet revenge through Uber eats and it's the best pie I've had from Zalat. Eaten and tried many different styles from them and this was the absolute goat. It has salami, a bacon onion jam, basil, and it was swirled with a hot honey. This is truly a perfect pizza and then a side of the srirancha tops it off. Just want to note that the 18" pie could probably be split between 2-3 people but I polished it off by myself.

Have been wanting to try this for a while since I've heard so much about the unique topping combos! Ended up getting the elote, pho shizzle, and the chicken teriyaki. The pizzas were a bit pricy, but were also pretty well sized so we had enough for leftovers. I liked the elote well enough, but wished that there was a bit more topping/sauce to make it more flavorful. The srirancha dipping sauce is also great with the pizza crust. To recap: a great option every now and then if you're bored of regular pizza toppings. Will definitely try another pizza sometime!

I received great customer service from Claudia, I ordered 24 pizzas for work and she was so friendly and helpful. Zalat pizza is delicious!!!! I highly recommend it!

I had heard great things about the pizza from here and it was good for sure. However, and this could be because I had it from take-out and not in the restaurant (but, from what I know this is how most people eat it), the crust was a bit thin and chewy for my taste.

Ordered the Pepperoni Masterclass, one of the best pizzas I've ever had. This will be my new go to pizza spot in Dallas.

Stop. Collaborate and Listen. This means I'm serious. I'm a huge pizza fan. Huge. I'm tough on pizza places and never do pizza review. Leave that for Portnoy. But had this delivered to my hotel with average "cause I'm hungry" expectations and my mind is blown! Absolutely great. Crust, cheese, topping and the most incredible dipping sauce I've had with pizza and I NEVER dip! NEVER. No idea who these folks are but they know pizza. Trust the crust!

I've been wanting to order from this spot for a while and am glad I finally did! Again, in search of good pizza like back home on the east coast I was fairy optimistic and wasn't disappointed. Texas pizza is all over the map, some good and some very not good, but still, none of it is like a NJ pie. This was a very good yet different option. The crust is solid, crispy yet foldable. Not excessively doughy and good texture. Hefty toppings and delicious sirancha for dipping. I'd def order from here again but would mix up the flavor. Also would love to try other sauces. Takeout was easy and quick.

I wanted to go here for the LONGEST! I just kept procrastinating, passing it by, saying, "I'll try another day." My boss decided to order it one day for the staff, I lit up in the face lol...FREE PIZZA! E we ordered classic favorites like cheese & pepperoni, but the star of the show for me - the Elote Pizza! Most people would think, "what?!" I like different food, weird combinations, so I couldn't wait to try it. Spicy foods and sauces tend to scare me away, so the sriracha swirl made me nervous, BUT lemme tell you - SO GOOD! I ate three slices, sure did lol. The balance of all the flavors was just like eating elote in a cup. Even cilantro, which I'm not a fan of, sprinkled on top, it wasn't too overpowering. I'd order it again, eat more than three slices I'm sure lol... oh and the classics, the pepperoni and cheese, they were delicious as well!

This is my friends and I favorite place to get food when we're hung over or very drunk. The pieces melt in mouth and are very big. Their zalat sauce is so unique and absolutely delicious

Delicious pizza, genuinely some of the best in DFW. Warning: the reaper slice is no game. Probably the hottest thing I've eaten aside from straight peppers. Not sure what they're putting on those slices but just here to warn y'all!!!

D'Marcus was super nice! He put me on to the sirancha, & that shit is fire! Excuse my French. Rashonda helped me pick a pizza for my first experience because I'm indecisive, but they definitely did me right! She put me on the pepperoni pizza with sausage & basil.

The pizza was ok. Nothing really great in my opinion, but it was a good option at 11 PM. I prefer Sal's pizza. They are the same type of pizza, but I think Sal's has a better tasting sauce and over all flavor.

Any price is a good price to not eat pizza from little Caesars. The pizza is also phenomenal!

First time ordering, the guy comes out to my car and I say thank you, he mumbled something inaudible. I order a small salad and a medium Pizza. I get home and realize it is the most disgusting horrible Pizza and Salad I've ever purchased! What a freaking waste of $30.00 DONT EAT HERE!!!!

It was my first time ordering from your restaurant, however the order was wrong. I paid for jalapeños and there was none in the pizza, secondly whom ever prepared the pizza added way too too much black pepper pizza was impossible to consume only good thing was the arrival time from grub hub and the crust. Is there something that you can do to make up for this.

The many times I've been to Zalat I've never been disappointed. As a traveler the places I enjoy most have the best pizza and Zalat reminds me of international pizzarias! My favorite slice is the "Chicken Teriyaki" mmmmm... and when ordering online I always make it a Roulette (one slice will be extremely hot) Remember to add the Sarancha mmmmm it's sooo good and creamy little delight if you are a sauce lover like myself. Enjoy!

I fell in love with this pizza! I've been ordering from them since coming to Dallas. Today I ordered on DoorDash, and completely forgot to add pepperonis to the order. I called Zalat Pizza and told them to add it, and will happily pay the difference. They said "no charge, it's on us." This is why I will continue to keep ordering, because they care for their customers!

Does NOT offer pizza by the slice. Save yourself the trip and visit italia express instead

I love how unique Zalat Pizza is. Their flavors are innovative and the flavor is OUTRAGEOUS. I just want to write home about them. My ultimate favorites are the Pho Shizzle and the Classic Pepperoni. Everything about Zalat is just *Chefs Kiss* PERFECT. Don't like crust? Dip it in SriRancha. Meat hater? Get the veggie pizzas. Bored? Do the Reaper Roulette. Don't eat pork? The pepperoni is 100% beef and 100% dank. Did I just say dank? Anyways try Zalat Pizza out. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Pizza was amazing and they delivered straight to my hotel!! Crust was perfect and would definitely order again! This was lowkey better than the Zalat close to my house.

Our go-to is the Pepperoni Masterclass-- NY-style thin pizza with lots of garlic and the mandatory pepperoni curls. We haven't tried any of their other more inventive pizzas as it's so good! The Lemmon location is MUCH easier to pick up from compared to the Fitzhugh location. Open super late!

Needed a Saturday afternoon pick me up to cure a slight hangover and this hit the spot! Not the best pizza I've ever had but it does the trick!

The pizza was hot and delicious. I would highly recommend this place. The crust is traditional- not too thin and not too thick. Price Is comparable to any other pizza restaurant. Take out only.

I was excited to order from here but was let down a tad. It seemed as if the pizza was packaged when it was way too hot because all of the cheese and toppings had slid to one side of the box and was spilling over off of the pizza itself so one half of the pizza was basically bare. The half that was still intact was very flavorful though! I would probably order again and hope that there was no spillage.

Pizza is good. The other location is much better. Pizza prepared well and the staff is friendly. I rarely order from this location, but when I do, I seem to get the same rude person. Hopefully they only have one rude employee. I love Zalat, and I hesitated leaving a bad review, but I'm hoping someone provides coaching to the staff. It's just not acceptable behavior. I really hope she isn't a manager because she is setting a bad example.

I have experienced Zalat pizza a few times before this review and have all been excellent. From taste to description they delivered my goodie pie as expected. My favorite pie here is the Pineapple Express 18" and the sauce on the side is great for dipping. Crust was perfectly baked and the entire pie no soggy spots or over cooked areas on the pie.
