Came here during Seattle Restaurant week. The service was absolutely terrible - had to get my own beer at the bar. The food on the other hand was delicious, that’s why 4 stars instead of 2 stars. Worth sitting thorough the terrible service just to have the food. If anyone is going to the restaurant week, we had pork chop and steak and fries, both are in the pictures and both are absolutely fantastic. Steak melts in the mouth and is surprisingly complemented by the crispy fries. The porkchop is a juicy delight. Key lime pie for dessert was a great way to end the meal.

We were seated at a cute half-booth, perfect for two people, within a few minutes of arriving. The host was very pleasant and engaging and also happened to be the one to bring out our food after we ordered from another waiter. The host was very friendly, telling us about our selections, as he placed them on the table. The waiter was just fine, paying us the right amount of attention, recognizing that we were very focused on our conversation, but also making himself available to us and refilling our waters. The food itself was delicious. My ordered "medium" steak for my salad ranged inconsistently from medium-rare to medium-well, but it was delicious, through and through. I could easily have eaten three of the salads, and it wasn't small! The duck was also delicious, and I'm not typically a fan of duck. Looking forward to my next visit!

Perfect choice and preparation of steak, wagyu burger, and non-steak comfort foods! Amazing bread; just remember to save room for your meal! Nice wine list, too! Attentive staff, great GM (try his signature dessert drink, the Nico)!

Classy, affordable and fantastic food. Particular favorites include the steak salad, steak tartare, the wagyu beef burger. The watermelon salad is amazing, the caviar pie incredible. I ate here three times during my five days in Seattle and I'll be back!

Well it is nice to have a new steak restaurant in Seattle that serves a great steak and side at a reasonable price. In fact it was so good I started eating before I remembered to take a photo. Food is not heavy and ladden with grease and fat like some other close by restaurants. I will be back again. Oh, one complain is that the door to the restroomsis not marked so if you got to go the black door with the exit sign will lead you to the correct place. The host promised that they will be getting a sign soon....

Had a great time here last night. Staff were phenomenal and the food was very good. Lots of great choices for both food and drinks. Great location, definitely would come back again.

Service is friendly, but they definitely try to upsell everything. It's one of the places with 20% tip included, which is fine, but the constant upsell is annoying. Food was pretty good: hubs ordered the French dip & I got the house salad with chicken. The waiter asked us if my hubs wanted horseradish with his French dip, sure that sounds good. When it didn't show to halfway through our meal, my husband asked if it was still coming. Out comes a whipped horseradish in a gravy boat (enough to share with 4 other people!). That's fine. The kicker is they then charged us $4 for the horseradish. What?!! That's just silly. They took it off our bill but still, buyer be warned! Drinks were not good, one drink when we asked about it was liquor forward, but when it arrived came like a lemon drop with a sugar rim. Not tasty. At all. When my hubs inquired if that was the way it was supposed to come, the waiter said 'yeah but you still look manly'. Totally missing the point, who 1) who says sugar rim drinks are girly? Just silly. 2) the point was it threw off the flavor of the drink entirely. Ordered a second drink hoping to down the flavor of the first, so went with a classic old fashioned (it's hard to screw those up). Yet, the drink came with a huge chunk of sugar that wasn't mixed into the drink. Lovely. Perhaps just don't order any cocktails or $4 whipped horseradish sides & you'll have a better experience.

Review is based on the seafood I had tonight; Portions are somewhat small for entrees given the prices here, but I suppose you're really paying for the wine selection, ambiance, and steaks, since that's what this restaurant is centered around.
