Zazas Pizzeria - Lincoln Park

WOW! What a fantastic slice. Zaza’s is a great addition to the area and I was very excited to drop in for a slice (they do slices Fri-Sun). Summer at the front was extremely kind & went above and beyond to be helpful for my first time walking in. She checked in on me mid-way through to make sure everything was great. Instead of enjoying my fat slice and going home happy, I wrote a review to share how good the food is because she was so helpful. THE SLICE: I ordered a pepperoni & added ricotta and a side of hot honey. The pizza had minimal flop— the crust was extremely thin but very sturdy. Arguably one of the best crusts I’ve had in quite some time. All around one of my favorite pepperoni slices in the city & I can’t wait to be back for more. All around, great experience! ZAZA’S if you’re reading this, PLEASE ADD A GLUTEN FREE OPTION! I’d love to come back with my girlfriend!

Zaza’s is hands down my favorite pizza spot in Chicago — seriously, the best NY-style pizza I’ve ever had. The crust is unbeatable… perfectly crispy on the outside, chewy in the middle, and always baked just right. Every bite just hits. I’ve been obsessed with Zaza’s for a while now and have told all my friends about it. So when I found out they were opening a new location in Lincoln, I was counting down the days. Now it’s so much closer to my apartment, and I already know I’m gonna be there all the time...weekly for sure, maybe even daily 😂. The new spot has more of a dine-in vibe, which is awesome. It’s such a chill place to hang out and eat your pizza fresh out of the oven. Whether I grab a slice for fun or order a whole pie, the quality is always the same....perfect every single time. The staff there are excellent — super friendly, welcoming, and you can tell they really care about making sure everyone has a great experience. The Hot Honey is 100% my favorite. That sweet-and-spicy combo with the crispy crust? Unreal. But honestly, everything on the menu is fire. You can tell they really care about what they’re doing...the ingredients, the consistency, everything. I’m so happy to see Zaza’s growing and opening new locations. It’s awesome supporting a local business that actually deserves all the love. So pumped to have one closer to me now , see you soon, Zaza’s! 🍕❤️

I'd give it an 8.5/10. Good sauce, fresh, I liked the garlic taste some bites had. The grandma crust had great crunch. Cheese was not low quality, you can tell. Basil was fresh, none of the dried powder stuff. No option for veggie addition - onion/olive/jalapeno. A bit too loud of music in there, but again that's my preference. I came in 3 mins before they opened on a Sunday, their doors were OPEN but the staff was very rude to tell me to leave and wait out ..... Chill....take it easy, just lock your door if you're not open. Geez, be kind.

Amazing service. Entire staff was friendly and energetic. My favorite pizza was the Pesto and Sausage. The traditional Grandma was also AMAZING. This spot is gem. Loved everything from the food, to the wine selection and the staff. 10/10

I came to Zazas Pizzeria with my entire school team and it was the perfect place for a group dinner. We ordered a mix of pies, including the Hot Honey Pepperoni, White Pie, Caruso Special, and the Truffle Mushroom Pie, and every single one was incredible. The flavors were pure New York, bold, balanced, and unforgettable. We also shared the focaccia plate with whipped ricotta and hot honey, which disappeared in minutes. The staff and owners were so welcoming and patient with our group, and made the whole night run smoothly. Amazing food, great energy, and an experience we will definitely repeat.

The pizza was nothing short of incredible. The sauce was rich and flavorful, and clearly made from quality tomatoes with a hint of sweetness. From first bite to last crumb, the pizza was pure quality and had serious flavor. This is the kind of pizza you keep thinking about long after you’re done eating. Easily one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Don’t get me started about the delicious meatballs and garlic twists.

Their new location is amazing and so inviting! The space itself is so nice. Pizza as usual as great as other locations and keeps the standard. They have beer and wine here too and soft serve. Their focaccia is amazing and Mushroom Truffle pizza is so yum. I think this may be my favorite location! @chicagopescetarian

I had recently visited Zazas on Fremont St. in Lincoln Park. Being born and raised in Chicago and Chicago Pizza in my blood, I was a bit apprehensive and skeptical of dining on a NY style pizza. Boy, was I wrong! The entire experience, Zazas Provides was top-notch. Excellent location. Excellence staff. Excellent variety and tasting pizza. everything from the most delicious veal meatballs I’ve ever had to the ice cream topped with a Luxor cherry. Excellent wine choices. This is a place you must experience expect nothing but the best from them
