In my opinion, Zeezout is the best Michelin-star restaurant in Rotterdam. Their 6-course menu is an excellent deal for the high-quality, creative dishes they offer. Each course is unique, fresh, and expertly prepared, showcasing the chef’s talent. The service is outstanding—attentive, friendly, and professional. If you’re looking for an unforgettable seafood dining experience, Zeezout is the place to go!

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and it was a really special evening! The staff was very kind, every dish was explained in detail. The quality of different types of fish was excellent and every dish was a pleasant surprise!

Maybe too highly expecting the first time visit Rotterdam and so looking forward for the Michelin star restaurant and also seafood cuisine! But to be honest , maybe I wasn’t lucky , the menu is not really matching my flavor ! And too simple and nothing surprised . Paying more than 100€ I think maybe deserve a little bit higher value seafood such as lobster or nice crabs . Not just monkfish salmon and tuna .The service is friendly, surrounding is cozy , but what a pity I didn’t find it tasteful ! But still thanks for the staffs !!

This initial attention to detail set a promising tone for our meal. The ambiance of the restaurant was serene, with a tasteful decor that exuded sophistication. Despite being minimally crowded, the tranquility allowed for intimate conversations and an overall relaxed dining atmosphere. The highlight of our experience undoubtedly lied in the carefully curated dishes presented to us. Each course was a testament to the chef's creativity and dedication to utilizing fresh, high-quality ingredients. From the appetizing starters to the decadent desserts, every plate was a culinary masterpiece, thoughtfully described before its presentation. However, the journey through our meal was punctuated by a notable drawback – the service was disappointingly slow. While the attentiveness of the staff was commendable, the prolonged intervals between courses left us lingering at the table for an extended period, totaling nearly two hours for the entire meal. This lag in service, albeit somewhat mitigated by engaging conversation and the tranquil ambiance, detracted from the overall dining experience. In conclusion, our visit to Zee Zuot was a tale of two halves. While the exquisite flavors and attentive waitstaff showcased the restaurant's culinary prowess and commitment to guest satisfaction, the sluggish service pace served as a hindrance to an otherwise enjoyable meal. With its tranquil ambiance and gastronomic delights, this Rotterdam gem holds promise for an unforgettable dining experience, albeit with room for improvement in service efficiency.

Simply outstanding food. Delivered with great love and care. Beautifully layered Flavours, a really joyful celebration of food. The dessert was a resounding and unexpected success, transported my back to my childhood through its careful construction. I have nothing but thanks for this place

I visited this nice restaurant in 2015. We celebrated a special event & Eid with friends. The food was super yummy. The presentation was elegant 👌🏼I liked fish the most. The waiter, who was extremely helpful & friendly suggested for us to try the four course surprise menu 😍& it was a great suggestion. I loved the yummy surprise too. The sitting was nice & quiet. The Chief was nice too & talented. I loved the experience. Thank you for making it more special.

Amazed. Simply the best Michelin I went so far in NL. Concept is very clear. Fish. No mix between dishes of meat, chicken, fish. No hidden fees either. Dishes gain traction step by step. Well priced. I will come back.

Great restaurant serving mostly fish oriented dishes. Loved the bread and onion mayonnaise at the start. Nice presentation, great flavors and good service. Had a wonderful lunch.

What a gem this restaurant is. In fact, it's so good that it warrants a trip to Rotterdam on its own. Got the chef's mystery tasting menu which was around 5 seafood filled courses for 56 EU. Everything was superb, filled with wondrous flavors and textures. In fact, there was so much food that I couldn't eat the last fish course. After dessert, they presented a gold box of bonbons on the table. We ordered mint tea, which after we had finished, our server turned the saucer over to reveal yet another tasty surprise: crémé brûlée. How clever is that? Not to mention that everything from the ambiance down to the staff was exemplary.

Fantastic tasting menu for a very reasonable price! The plating of the dishes was so creative .. we even had swordfish pizza service out of a pizza box.. cute! The fish was top quality, cooked perfectly, and melted in your mouth. The space is small and quaint, the service was great too. I have nothing bad to say about this place and I would definitely eat here again!
