Zeppelin Hall Review - Jersey City - New York - The Infatuation

"Zeppelin Hall is the prototypical beer garden. The hangar-sized space has three rooms with multiple bars serving steins of Oktoberfest and Hoegaarden, along with a huge backyard that’s partially covered during winter. Sit at one of the communal picnic tables and you’ll be surrounded by live music, projector TVs playing sports, and six guys from Hoboken getting really into giant Jenga. You don’t need to come here for the food on its own, but the BBQ - especially the spicy andouille and shredded brisket - is a better way to coat your stomach than dry pretzels and overcooked brats you’d find at most beer gardens." - Matt Tervooren

Zeppelin Hall is one of our go-to spots for a fun, laid-back night out. The massive beer hall and sprawling outdoor beer garden are perfect for groups, and the Bavarian motif gives the place an authentic, festive vibe. We came during Maifest, and the live music and themed food/culture celebration really added to the experience — they switch it up monthly, which keeps things fresh. Beer lovers will be in heaven here: tons of beers on tap and some specialty brews tucked away in the cozy fireplace room. Food-wise, it’s decent — the Bavarian pretzel is a standout, and the chicken tenders hit the spot. It can get a little grungy when it’s packed, and the bartenders are often overwhelmed with the demand, which means waiting a bit longer than you’d like. Still, the overall atmosphere more than makes up for it. A great spot to hang with friends, enjoy a few pints, and soak up the good energy.

Big place. Great for watching games. Outdoor space. Plenty of beer options. I highly recommend Tuesday night hot dog specials with a ton of really good fries. Free fries when you order two (2) hot dogs. I tried three (3) different dogs the Chili Cheese dog, Jersey Ripper, and the New York Classic. Good options and fair prices.

I recently visited this lively beer garden and was impressed by the extensive beer selection and authentic German cuisine. The atmosphere was vibrant, though it could get quite noisy, making conversation a bit challenging. The staff was knowledgeable and provided professional service, enhancing the overall experience. However, some beers were unavailable during my visit, which was a slight disappointment. Overall, it's a great spot for those seeking a festive environment with good food and drinks.

Google
This review is for the pretzel. I’m a huge pretzel lover, and saw this place had good ones so I got one to go. The pretzel was decent, it was soft but wasn’t served warm. Flavor was okay, but not really anything special. The cheese they give you was chunky and not really my favorite. Brown mustard was decent but no real zest to it. The price is also pretty insane at $14.

Google
Large seating areas, indoors and outdoors. Casual layout for sitting with your own groups. Awesome beer selection on tap. Service is subpar. Everything is self order and self pick-up, at least at the area we were seated. Still tipping expectations, not sure why 🙂

Google
Grand space with multiple bars (i think 5) and plenty of space for large gatherings. Good handheld food (wings, mozzarella sticks, pretzel, etc.). The outdoor area was a great place to hang out with nice mood lighting once the sun started going down.

Google
Zeppelin Hall is the perfect spot for celebrations and big groups! We’ve come here for two different celebrations, and each time, it’s been an amazing experience. The space is huge, making it easy to accommodate large parties, and the atmosphere is always fun and lively. The beer selection is fantastic, with a great variety of drafts to choose from, and the food never disappoints. Whether you’re in the mood for bratwurst, burgers, or giant pretzels, everything is delicious and pairs perfectly with a cold beer. The service is always friendly, and even with a big group, we’ve never had an issue finding a spot to sit and enjoy. Zeppelin Hall is definitely our go-to for a great time with friends and family—highly recommend it for any celebration!

Google
Fun little family and dog friendly beer hall, they serve a bunch of different beers on tap and have some specialties in a bottle. Their food is limited but is not bad, giant pretzels are good and the dessert cookie was good.

Yelp
PROS: Food is good, priced well for the area, atmosphere is rustic and cool, and the staff is very nice CONS: Outside bar closes early and the food stops at 10pm. no parking and hardly any TVs, so it's not a good sports bar. One bartender prevented me from ordering from the outside bar by saying it was about to close. It didn't for another 30 minutes OVERALL: Not my favorite place to go to but it's good enough to stop in and relax. Just don't come if you're planning on watching sports. With 6 TVs and 70+ people, game day can be overwhelming for them

Yelp
Food (4/5): Solid food and I enjoyed the burger and fries. I got the Hidenburger and while good it was a bit salty. Besides that overall solid and I liked the combination of sausage in a burger. The fries were crispy and nice. We also got the Jalapeno poppers which were well made too. The others got pierogi and the sausage platter which were also good. Service (4/5): No issues with the service and the waiter and the counter was patient as we looked through the menu. You basically order at a counter and then pick up the food. Ambiance (5/5): Very large biergarten with tons of sports playing on TV. There's board games hosted here and overall a lively vibe. Can be a bit loud depending on the groups.

Yelp
When you think of a beergarden - I'm sure images of giant plates of schnitzel, large frosty mugs of beer, and quick wait times come to your mind Unfortunately this place only has one - the beer It's been 45 minutes and I have not gotten my schnitzel yet. And it's not even busy. If this place was located in Frankfurt - it would have closed by now. It's sad that jersey city has to experience these wait times.

Yelp
I will give this place a 3 for ambiance and drinking. Staff is nice, place has a cool set up with a lot of room inside & outside. The food however is average and I think that's putting it nicely. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and it tasted ok, but the quality of chicken was fair. My husband had three orders of the brisket and it was also very average. When I think of brisket it's usually nice slabs that melt in your mouth. This was mealy pieces that did not agree with us at all. The fries were cold and we were disappointed. Years ago, the food was better so sad that this place did not keep the quality of their food. Drinks were good.

Yelp
We were here to celebrate our friend's birthday, one fine afternoon at Zeppelin Hall Biergarten. It's conveniently located along the light rail line. Even in the early afternoon, Zeppelin Hall was pretty crowded. we thought it was a small pub but it's a huge establishment. Big halls, outdoor seating arrangements, another big hall for the event- means the more you walk, and you feel like- is it ever going to end? At the center is a high, wood-top bar where tenders, barely visible behind a wall of tap handles (38 to be exact), busy themselves serving beer in heavy glass steins, available in pint, mug, or liter size Three separate bars and Every bar has different beers on tap, so you should rotate from bar to bar for the full selection. We had a couple of beers (wheat, strawberry cider, & Hofbrau), explored the area, chit chatted, and laughed- a good time it was! it's not your classy restaurant, no one gonna guide you to the table or ask for your order. just go there, sit anywhere you like, and chug it. I like the vibe, coolness quotient was too high ;) Zeppelin revelers have been known to cheer as the train travels past about every twenty minutes--I'm not sure why but don't question the collateral effects of 32-ounce mugs of strong German beer. I did like their Beer glasses- and enquired about 'is it for sale' - unfortunately- it was not... poor me Also, bring your pets! It's pet-friendly. and hey the best part- PARKING is free: light rail parking is also available for Zeppelin folks (just google 'Zeppelin Hall parking' and it will take you there). you don't need to validate it, just park it and have a good time.

Yelp
Great vibes, a lot of after-work get togethers. Great service , the food is amazing !

Yelp
This place has great bar and staff. However you need to work on their food kitchen. The fries are cold and dry. I get it's crowded during weekends especially when it's summer Friday but can't serve cold and dry fries. The brunch omelette is bland and avacado toast is pretty average as well

Yelp
This place is really amazing. It's extremely spacious, has multiple bars, and 2 windows to either order or pick up your food. We ordered pierogies for the table and had kielbasa for my main. Both were really delicious and fairly light. The beer selection is, of course, really great and the bartenders allowed us to sample a variety of beers. Our personal favorite was the Berry Monkey sour beer. It's located in a great part of downtown Jersey City. It's a cozy, yet crowded environment. Can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Great German style beer hall just off the Hudson River pier in Jersey City! Great beer selection and great German food menu.

Yelp
We've been here for drinks a few times. The food never really looked good and there are many better places to eat at in Jersey City. The last time we went, it was 8:35pm on a Saturday. They have a sign at their entrance saying no kids can be in the establishment after 9. We only planned on staying there for one drink and be out well before 9 with our kids. When we entered, the bouncer very rudely said we can't have kids in there. We explained that we knew we had to be out by 9 and we would because we had reservations elsewhere at 9:15. He proceeds to say with an awful attitude "well your reservation isn't here so you ain't staying here". Still rudely he says that kids can't be in there after 8. We didn't have a problem with the rule, but how we were spoken to. I asked him why the need to speak to us in that way and he then became very defensive and said "I just said you can't have the kids here", pointing his finger at me and then pointing to the door "there's the door". They clearly don't believe in being polite to patrons as this guy double my size felt it was ok to speak to a woman like that in front of all his patrons (which were only like 8 people). I emailed the establishment to let them know what happened and nobody bothered to reply. We will definitely never be back. Better off going to Smorgasbar instead- better food and better service.

Yelp
Love this spot. There's tons of parking and tons of space inside. Great food and beer selection. The staff is super friendly and they have different sections of the bar in case you want a more quiet spot etc. It's more fun in the summer since they have a huge outdoor section as well. I would say it's the best Biergarten in the area, they also have a happy hour which is a huge plus! Can't go wrong!

Yelp
This is an open seating beer garden in Jersey City, which is perfect for a casual night out, socializing, or big group events. There is a loooot of seating at the "fireplace room" which is near the entrance, as well as a large hall with many large tables for eating. The section near the entrance is where you queue up to buy drinks at the bar, while the large hall section is where you queue up for food. Note that there is happy hour Monday-Friday 4-7pm, as far as I am aware. Beer and pretzels are discounted slightly, which makes going here at those hours an especially great deal. At the fireplace room, we got 1 glass of beer per person. I personally got the strawberry cider but also sampled the grapefruit one. I am glad they have a decent selection of fruity beers, in addition to the usuals like IPAs, etc. This makes people who are similar to me who don't really like beer, more inclined to go to these beer halls. The bartender was nice enough to also let us try some beer before committing to one. Unfortunately, they don't have beer flights for now since a lot of the flight glasses broke and they are waiting on shipment, but this is something out of their control. At the hall, we ordered the giant pretzel as well as the full house wurstplate. They are pretty well priced as the portions are huge and more than enough for 3 people to share. The pretzel is nicely salted, though just a tiny bit on the saltier side, but it goes well with the beer. They also have beer cheese dip to make the pretzel tastier. The sausage plate had 5 different selections of sausages, including spicy and non-spicy variants. They are very juicy and flavorful. Also, the order comes with bread (which was okay as a filler), fries and 2 kinds of mustards - American one and the honey one. I liked the honey one more as it is much more flavorful and less mustard intense. Even dipping the fries or the pretzels in that honey mustard was delicious. Overall, I had a pretty positive experience here and am glad to try this out as I never really had a good German beer hall type of experience until now.

Yelp
The food is good not great but good. You must place your order at one window and pick up at another so there is no table service. This is a traditional beer garden where you meet friends and can share appetizers. Definitely a casual hang out spot to watch sports. They have a great outdoor patio with fire pit. A little to cold for the winter but great in the summer. They also have a indoor fireplace seating area which is very nice. You come to this place for the beer as they have a very nice selection. They can accommodate large groups as there is plenty of seating. It was quite busy during my visit but the ordering was quick and easy plus the food was ready very quickly. The dress is casual and comfortable. Great place to meet friends for beers and a game! Getting there is easy as it right off the lite rail. We drove and was able to find parking pretty easily.

Erica K.

Yelp
This place used to be amazing. The service was on point, there were actually people coming around to clean the tables and the food came out in a timely manner. If this were my first time here- I would not come back, nor would I recommend this place to anyone. The blonde bartender is extremely rude and seems to favor waiting on men as opposed to women. She is slow, unfriendly and is frankly one of the worst bartenders I've ever encountered. How she still is employed here is beyond me. I've never had to wait 30 min plus for food. Not sure if they are short staffed but it is a shame because it reflects poorly on the business. I know my group won't be back anytime soon. They missed a perfect opportunity to profit on a basketball playoff game and blew it. No wonder people are going elsewhere.

Yelp
Ok...the food is very good- yet pricy for the type of place... Amazing burger- Decent pizza... Why no Mich Ultra or Bud light? Cmon!
google avatar

Giselle G.

Yelp
I came here for a networking event and I must say it was a great experience. First the place was a bit warm and it was really hot. That was the only down side. Besides that everything was great. They have an out door and an indoor. The outdoor looked very nice. I ordered a strawberry cider and it was on happy hour which was really cheap. Then we had food ordered and the food was very good. The pretzel was huge and fresh with the right amount of salt on it. When you purchase food make sure to get the pretzel. The pizza was also very good and it was not a traditional pizza but I enjoyed it. It was thin and flavorful and not greasy. I would definitely go back and try more items from the menu. The only down side was the heat of the room. The service was good she was very nice and patient. My only complaint was the poor had too much foam but she was very nice. Also there were a lot of people and she handled it well.

Yelp
came here for my high school reunion the other weekend and i was a bit disappointed. the parking lot was a bit hard to find in the dark- they should have signs from the restaurant to the parking lot or write it in the front so that people know where to and where not to park. once entering, they said that they were going to close off one area for our reunion but there was a whole other group that was in our area WITH kids that made our experience a little less than. the food option that they gave was also very unappetizing: the buffalo wings were absolutely inedible, the fries were dry and the pretzels were stiff. the only thing that was edible was the chicken tenders and the jalapeno poppers (which both were a bit on the colder end even w/ the trays under "heat"). Overall, i was a bit disappointed since i have been here before with my friends a couple of years ago and i did love the ambiance before -but then again that was in the summer time and the vibe was difference.
google avatar

Roxanne O.

Yelp
A large variety of beer and decent food! Our favorite were the wings, surprisingly crispy for smoked wings. The fries were a bit disappointing--they tasted like frozen wings. The pretzel was pretty standard, not sure if it's worth being shipped out from another country but they were okay
google avatar

Yelp
Our first time visiting was New Years Eve and Zeppelin Hall did not disappoint! We got there early and grabbed two seats by the bar, and were so glad we did - our bartender Danielle was wonderful and she made our night! The food was great, the beer just kept coming and the atmosphere was a true party! We made friends with a bunch of other patrons, all of whom were very kind and loved the ambiance of it all. It was the perfect way to bring in the New Year!
google avatar

Mattie Z.

Yelp
LOVE this place! It's a great place to go if you're looking for a laidback night. The food is great and the portions are big for the price. You can also bring your dog if you sit outside so it's even better!!
google avatar

Yelp
What a place. I came for Oktoberfest and had a blast. The space is huge (great for social distancing) both inside and out. Food happens to be good - get the ring of fire. It's $70 but can feed 4-5 people easily. It's massive and surprisingly delicious. They have a cider called Ace for $6 and it's fantastic, I'll take 10. Soundtrack is on point, as is the outdoor evening lighting. Great great great spot.
google avatar

Louis R.

Yelp
So much better these days. Lots of yuppies and middle class citizens drinking and listening to live music...not rap...good bands. It has changed from a spot that represented the JC diversity into a suburban strata that doesn't cause trouble. Gotta love a safe place to drink with your family, your puppy and your college/work colleagues. Someone had to say it. I'll definitely be back now.
google avatar

Jazz P.

Yelp
I have been here couple of times now. Over all, a great hangout place with friends as they have fire pit, nice outdoor seating, big screen for games nights plus free parking in the back. However, make sure you eat something & go as they have minimal food choice, plus music has always been eh and the place could use a little more disinfectant.

I H.

Yelp
Great beer, pretzels delicious! Friendly staff. Affordable prices. Spacious, great place to hang out
google avatar

John S.

Yelp
Ended up at Zeppelin Hall two nights in a row for a bachelor party weekend, and we had a wonderful time. The bartenders were attentive, kind, and made our experience amazing. I will definitely be back to visit next time I'm in town!
google avatar

Sarah P.

Yelp
I like the vibe of this place, similar to Hofbrauhaus if you've ever been but instead of having a server you go up to the counter and get your food. They do have a nice outside area with a bar and seating, but it wasn't nice out when we went so we decided to stay inside. Large picnic table type seating, great casual place for large groups of friends to get together and drink and eat. Now the food, my bbq plate was overall good. I'm used to slices of brisket rather than shredded pieces so I didn't really care for that part. The pulled pork was perfectly sweet and the roll and Mac n cheese it came with were great sides. My boyfriend got chicken tenders and fries and it came with so much food he couldn't finish! Huge selection of beers, but not so much cocktails. Definitely planning to return in the summer to enjoy a grapefruit beer on the patio!
google avatar

Mark M.

Yelp
Wish I could rate this place higher because it certainly has the potential. Awesome overall space with three different bars to grab your drinks, all serving the same tap list. The tap list wasn't as extravagant as their website suggested. Huge projection Tv was nice for sports. Waitress was completely disinterested and spent the majority of her time time on her phone sitting at the bar on the patron side, or chatting with friends ignoring everyone else. Music was horrendous. They literally had Kenny G's greatest hits playing for at least 30 minutes... in a GERMAN BEER HALL. It felt like a sick inside joke. Kitchen closes early, like 10pm at the latest.
google avatar

Amira I.

Yelp
First time here for a Oktoberfest and it rained and poured just before I arrived, which I know was in forecast but they obviously didn't plan for it and the band had to stop playing even tho there was the tent poles outside ready with no tent. The only covered area was bar and very limited seating/ crowded and dog owners letting dogs jump up in barstools not allowing for any standby women sit down which was a bit rude and not gentleman like. And they ran out of all the fan faves -pretzels and fish and chips which we came for and it was still early in the evening at 5pm on Saturday so settled for meat main items and French fries. Then finished our liters of beer and went elsewhere for food. Large backyard space with lots of outdoor tables and inside huge but stuffed with tables too close and very dim lighting.
google avatar

Alissa L.

Yelp
Zeppelin Hall is such a fun spot! When in doubt, you will have a good time. The back area is huge and filled with picnic tables and an outdoor bar. There's usually live music on the weekends too, which makes it an even more enjoyable spot. There is spacious indoor seating as well with a German vibe to enhance the Biergarten experience. As far as food, they have a ton of options ranging from various sausages and pulled pork, to fries and pretzels. You can order for large groups and it comes with a TON of food. The food is great and the prices for both beer and food were inexpensive! The only downside to Zeppelin Hall is the bathrooms. Multiple times I have gone there they have been gross. The stall doors do not close, there is no toilet paper in multiple stalls, and it generally feels unsanitary. PLEASE do something about this, its very unpleasant. I really hope management can work on this!
google avatar

Luis I.

Yelp
Good beer selections, yes I'll go back, check them out big outdoors and good food excellent service

Tracy R.

Yelp
My god the second review for this place and its truly disheartening. Not sure how the staff is trained but they really need to do better. Came for a birthday gathering and it was a pretty okay evening up until the bartender felt the need to complain about a tip but she was tipped based on performance and service. The other bartender's were compensated because they provided a more welcoming attitude and professionalism
google avatar

Alex G.

Yelp
I have a love/hate relationship with this place. On one hand it's a great hangout spot to gather with friends and enjoy some food and drink, while on the other it is apparently a place that often over serves without regard for the safety of its patrons and the community it inhabits. Vomit is often the remainder of a Friday or Saturday night at Zeppelin Hall, and as someone who lives in the area and used to work in the restaurant industry, it's quite shameful that this has been allowed to continuously happen week after week, without at least cleaning it up at the end of the night. In addition, there is constantly garbage and broken glass strewn outside the entryway, and around the back area where they keep their garbage. In a neighborhood packed full of young children and dogs, it's unfathomable that any business would so willingly turn a blind eye to the dangers that it pr The Zeppelin Hall should hold itself to higher standards on both fronts. Turning a blind eye to pollution of the community you operate in, while simultaneously endangering both patrons and residents is simply unacceptable.
google avatar

Sandi K.

Yelp
Never fails to deliver. One of my go-to spots in the neighborhood. Large sitting area - inside and outside. Got a parking lot where patrons can park for free. Food is prepared fast, tastes decent. Children are allowed till 8pm. Dogs are welcome. Lastly, good selection beers!
google avatar

Dena H.

Yelp
Came here after work for some beer. The workers here are very nice and the drinks are cold. A lot of outdoor seating on picnic tables. They were roasting a pig for the next days bbq menu. It's better to come with a group of friends. I wish they had outdoor games like other beer gardens
google avatar

Brice P.

Yelp
The first time I came to Zeppelin Hall was in 2010, as a visiting Manhattan resident. I moved to Jersey City after a decade in Manhattan and I've been coming to Zeppelin consistently ever since. The food is sometimes hit or miss (more hit then miss) but the beer and beer selection is always on-point. The space itself is awesome and large for Jersey City (and the city). Definitely come for the beer. The food specials are where it's at.
google avatar

Claudia R.

Yelp
DELICIOUS!!!!! That pretzel and mustard was a combo!!! Mac and cheese delectable. Wings were crispy and juicy, could have used a bit more seasoning. Amazing food I would go back there for dinner for sure.!!

Kyle S.

Yelp
An employee made a HORRIFIC and very inappropriate comment to my fiancée. This was a very MISOGYNISTIC comment and reflects the entire establishment. Do not come here!
google avatar

Josh B.

Yelp
While I don't usually visit places with prominent signs banning baggy plants, MC colors and birthday cakes, I stopped in for Baconfest (ending Sunday Jan. 27, sorry) and the menu was impressive. To keep my calorie count below 8,000 I just got two things - the bacon chop and the bacon clothesline. Yeah, you can't eat an Instagram-friendly presentation, but indeed I was glad to take photos, The baconfest offerings veer into many fusiony neighborhoods, with curveballs like caramel along for the ride. I didn't opt for the craziest things on the list but they were good choices. The clothesline had a nice maple situation. The chop was appealing smoky, and in this over-the-top meat event I was pleased by the sincerity of the wild mushrooms.

Nicole S.

Yelp
One of my favorite bars to hang out with friends. This place is enormous, plays great music, and has delicious food. The giant pretzel with beer cheese sauce is my go-to. Im not a huge beer drinker, but I usually order a grapefruit beer whenever I'm here. but unfortunately the whole place was out of that. I was there early before any crowds and the bartender offered me a special mixture of fruli strawberry beer and alagash, which I've never even heard of or had before. She called it "fruligash" and it was soooo good!
google avatar

Laura J.

Yelp
If I lived closer, Zeppelin Hall would be my regular spot. The place is HUGE with a great outdoor area as well. Very kid friendly which is a plus. We were here for an early dinner after a busy afternoon at the Liberty Science Center. The food was excellent- the pretzel with cheese, Mac and cheese, cheddar bratwurst and the large bratwurst sampler were all ordered by my family and everything was delicious. Our friend ordered the burger and it looked amazing! They have a decent tap list, some can beers and some hard seltzers. As we were leaving they started slow roasting some meats on a huge rotisserie out in the back. Definitely a great spot and make sure it sit outside-they even have a second bar out there.
google avatar

Allie A.

Yelp
I've been here twice and I really like it here! It's very spacious- there's so many different rooms and an outdoor area to hang out. Personally I love the outdoor area here, it has a bunch of benches with some cute lights and just has a really nice vibe to it. During the colder months they even have a "Polar Vortex" outside with some fire to keep you warm! If you're like me and you're not a beer drinker don't worry- you can get your basic mixed drinks and they make them strong! Inside, there is a counter where you can order food and they have a decent selection of some finger foods and BBQ. I've tried the pretzel and the chicken fingers and fries and they were tasty. I definitely recommend coming to Zeppelin Hall on a nice night, getting some food and drinks and spending time in the outdoor area!

Yelp
Hosted a small birthday event here with about 15 people recently on a Saturday late afternoon. I thought our waitress was great and that she was very attentive. It was also very easy to book an event at their main hall and the event coordinator was easy to work with via email. The reason for the 3 stars is because we saw about 3 or 4 people from other parties take food from our buffet even though it was a private event. I tried telling a few of them that it was a private event and that this was food I paid for for my own party. A couple didn't care and one literally ran away into the other hall. I guess I could have informed my waitress but not really sure what else could have been done since it wasn't Zeppelin Halls fault for these people's actions. I'd like to think I can host another event here but not sure if I would based on those events. Also, the people that would steal food from our party were in their 40s or 50s so they were not young drunk individuals either.
google avatar

Larica S.

Yelp
This platter was HUGE - could probably feed like 6 people. Far too many fries, in my opinion but they were good! Could be more meat. Everything was delicious and flavorful except for the chicken pieces which tasted like nothing. The place is fun for a night out with friends for beers and meaty grub!!

Yelp
Great afternoon at Zeppelin. Our friends had a birthday party here for their son, so they had a semi private area with food (sausage, Mac & Cheese, and the pretzels were delicious), and included some drink tickets. Lots of beers to choose from and live music was a nice surprise!

Yelp
I've been to this place multiple times and I can say it's always a very pleasant experience! Tons of indoor and outdoor seating. There are three bars to choose from to order drinks, so you're never waiting in a huge line. The beer list is thorough but not too long so it's easy to find something you like. Also, the food is right with the theme and delicious! Very reasonably priced and great service. I know that I will be back here for sure!

Yelp
This place is huge!! I came in last Saturday when they opened and had a great experience. We hung out by the fire pit, grabbed drinks at the bar, and ate some really delicious German inspired food. We were pleasantly surprised when the chef came over to our table and offered to try some stuff he was working on in the kitchen and he ended up being a two time chopped champion! The real show stopper for me was the pretzels that are imported from Munich, Germany. This was the best soft pretzel I have had in my whole life! I also loved the pretzel grilled cheese with creamy tomato soup. The group I was with indulged in all sorts of German meats, while I enjoyed my pretzels, beets, and German potato salad. I would definitely recommend this place to come with a group of friends.

Yelp
I went there with my friends, on Wednesday night 7/21/2022. Had a few beers (a good selection ), but then we decided to get food. The kitchen close at 10 pm, when I went over there to order it was 9:50, and they turned me around. " we are close ". I was upset but fine. A few minutes later a few different companies of people came back with " beepers " from the kitchen which means they were able to order food. So I went back to the kitchen staff and ask, what happened, kitchen staff make a very sorry face and say we sorry, things happen. " But know we are close for sure " " sorry ". So kitchen staff is very lazy or they just decide who they want to serve. I can't believe it work like that and actually good bar. So now I'm sitting hungry and angry and people from both sides of me are eating ....

Yelp
This place it pretty cool! All types of people and their fur babies come here. It is a nice laid back environment with very spacious rooms and outdoor patio. You order and pick up at a window indoors and you drab a beer or cider from one of the bars indoors or outdoors. The prices are AMAZING! Low price for quality food and brews. They also have a free lot to park at a short walk away. You really can't beat it especially in Hoboken. Definitely a place to check out!

Yelp
Awesome Bier Garden in JC! I've been to Zeppelin Hall a couple of times with a few buddies, and it's an awesome space. Tall ceilings, a large patio out back, multiple bars, and a long tap list. Drinks & Food - 4/5 - Got a long beer list, mix bag of IPAs, Lagers, Pilsners, and even sours, but do remember this is German-themed - so you'll see some fest biers and some nice lagers. A good drink recommendation is the Spaten Oktoberfest bier or the Jack Abbey's lager! Food-wise, they go BBQ and sausages, which are pretty high priced ($$$), but its a large plate to offset some cost ;). Service - 4/5 - My experience with the service has been pretty good! The people manning the main bar in the fireplace room are always the nicest, although I had varied experiences at the other two bars. The staff is nice to help remove trash and keep things neat. Venue - 4/5 - They got 2 main halls (the fireplace room and the main room (past those bulky doors). They also have a large patio with tons of benches and fireplaces (if you're looking to hang outside during the winter). There are bars in each of these rooms, however, if you're looking to drink from glass cups, I'll order from the fireplace room. It's pretty clean overall, and they got nice decorations with huge projectors showing games. They also got parking connected, so if you're looking to drive over, they got tons of parking spaces.
