Look Back at All the Booze in Cocktail Week 2015 | Eater Carolinas

"I tried the American Surrealist at Zero Cafe + Bar, a reimagined whiskey sour dreamed up by bartender Charlie Bolin to echo Richard Hagerty’s vibrant work; Bolin blends Bulleit rye, fresh-squeezed lemon, a lavender simple syrup, a few dashes of Bittermen’s orange bitters, and a bit of liquid salt solution, then adds an egg white (which he dry shakes to froth before shaking with ice) to mellow the sour and unify the drink, and finally floats Cabernet Sauvignon on top to give the cocktail the same visual punch as Hagerty’s paintings." - Eater Staff

If you like unusual local and international beers you must check this place. It’s located in a nice garden. The selection of beers is huge and the prices are reasonable. The guy who serves them has a massive knowledge about Greek beers. My favourite spot in Kos Town.

We are huge craft beer lovers from the UK and found this place on Google prior to coming to Kos, knowing we would want to mix up the usual Alfa / Mythos served on the island. We visited on our second day and it then became a daily spot for us to enjoy an afternoon or evening drink! 🍻 The Septem 8th Day (7%) on draft is absolutely delicious, and the can menu is extensive with a variety of delights from microbreweries across Greece. My personal favourite is Alchemist DIPA 😍 The venue is a vibe with awesome music every day ranging from Indie classics, to 80s, to rock, to dance classics. The owner Constadinos is friendly and will happily tell you about the beers and breweries. The snacks are tasty, and his homemade liquor (Christmas in a glass) is delicious 🤤 It has genuinely been a highlight of our holiday! 🧡 Paul & Sophie (Pavlos & Sophia)

Very nice shady beer garden, very relaxed, under some nice trees and an absolutely spectacular homemade lemonade. Perfect for a hot day. Don't leave Kos without trying it !

Great find in KOS if you are need of something other than the everyday lagers served everywhere in Greek Islands. Bar is run by Con an Australian born Greek man who moved back to Kos a long time ago. Works 7 days a week. 5 taps and about 20 bottles of Greek craft beer. Con is a great host and knows his stuff and will point you in the right direction. Definitely worth looking up. €7 a beer, decent price for a craft beer

A Craft Beer Haven for locals and visitors alike! A pilgrimage worth making for an impressive selection of well curated Greek craft beer in Kos Town. Lovely garden and indoor spaces. The owner is friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and welcomed us back after 4 years since our last visit. One not to be missed by beer lovers, whether you're from or visiting Kos.

A vastly under appreciated location. This is a wonderful spot to grab a coffee, or a morning beer (like I did!!) The beer garden has ample room, is shaded and has quality choons to match ambiance. I had a few West Coast style IPA’s, washed down by a delicious caipirinha. Kostas is a gent and curator of only the finest beverages.

We were recommended Zero by a friend who loves real ale and craft beers, and we decided to stop for drinks while in Kos town. The selection of beers is incredible (especially from the Greek microbreweries!) and the owner is very friendly and knows a lot about the beers he sells. The inside of the bar is really nice, but sit in the beer garden if you can as it's very shaded but with lots of table space for the smaller and larger groups alike. We only wish we were there long enough to try the food, but the snacks provided were lovely and there is also a great playlist for the music lovers!
