Ordered Chicken noodles from HungryPanda. After I poured in the soup, stirred for ten seconds and ready to take a bite, I saw those dirt and took the pictures. There were still so many dirt after I stirred the vege in soap. THIS RESTAURANT DOES NOT WASH VEGETABLES.😅

This place is a great spot for some spicy noodles and spice dumplings! I had lunch there and highly recommend their beef spicy noodles.

This place is absolutely fantastic! My friend and I came here after doing pottery and had no idea what we were walking into. The menu is short, sweet and to the point, with a little bit of everything for everyone. We opted to share the Marinated Fried Chicken and the Shrimp and Corn Dumplings, while my friend got the Braised Pork Rice Bowl, and I got the Szechuan Braised Beef Noodle. Everything we had was fantastic; excellent portions and flavors all around. My friend wasn't a big fan of the chicken, but I personally loved it. Of all the items we had, both of us agreed that the braised pork was top tier. Everything else was good, but there was something that stood out with the flavors, textures, and just overall satisfaction you get from that dish. That one is HIGHLY recommended. I also opted to try the sour plum juice, which I don't think will be everyone's cup of tea, but I enjoyed it. All of these items were portioned generously, and didn't cost as much as you would think. We did get a discount as part of a promotion they were doing that was buy one get one 50% off for the bowls, but even at full price I would say that everything was worth it. The customer service here was also excellent. The gentleman at the front was very friendly and clear, and helped us to make our decisions. The interior of the restaurant was also very clean. If I had one criticism, it would be that the place is a bit small for anyone looking to dine in, as seating is limited. But that doesn't detract from the overall experience. I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone in the area.

Google
Overall rating: 4.5 I didn’t realize this was a chain when I visited. Clean area and nice service. Not a place to sit down, but rather to go. I had the Szechuan braised beef and it is SPICY. I wasn’t prepared how spicy. On the first day, the broth just tasted like hot water. It was missing the flavor or fullness of broth. But on the second day, I added some soy and a few other Asian spices & it got so much better. Surprisingly day 2 was better than day 1. I could come back to try another, less spicy dish, if I’m in the area. Definitely more a lunch to-go spot, than anything else. Recommend giving it a try.

Google
This family ran joint serves the best beef noodle soup and homemade soup dumplings! It’s the perfect spot for a cozy meal, especially during the winter or rain. The noodle soup had a rich, clean broth & the meat was super tender. Some other standout dishes included the shanghai shumai and spicy wontons in chili oil, which I could easily eat multiple portions of. I’ll definitely be back! The food was sooo delicious😋, I came here with my friend after a walk in the park and the food was able to quench our hunger. I ordered the Szechuan braised beef noodles and a side of marinated fried chicken, my friend ordered the marinated beef rice bowl. Every single thing we ordered was delicious, I especially loved the subtle spice with the noodles. The sauce served with the fried chicken was also delicious! 5⭐️

Located in Fort Greene, this restaurant opened a few months ago after moving their location here from the Bronx! The ambiance is pretty casual and I must say it's pretty chilled out compared to typical Chinese restaurants in the city! The service too is pretty quick whereas the staff is friendly. These people have bought the Sichuan cuisine and Americanized it for the local taste buds and at first I had reservations regarding the spice as I'm not too accustomed to it! Initially was looking for shredded chicken noodle but they had run out of chicken so I had Szechuan Braised beef noodles for which I requested them to make it less spicy than usual. The dish had braised beef, roasted chick peas, noodles, bok choy and half egg. The broth/soup was tasty as well as spicy enough to make my nose runny and heat up the body temperature! The roasted chick peas felt amazing as they had a great crunch whereas the noodles were perfectly cooked along with the beef was tender. Although not a big fan of beef, I liked this experience I also ordered dumplings as sides, there were 3 pieces of it with minced pork. The outer layer of the dumplings was a bit thick and I guess they can work a bit on it making it thinner but it did taste good! Overall a great experience and looking forward to visiting again in the future!

Google
This was my second visit to this restaurant, and I have to say it was the best meal I've ever had. The food is consistently excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. I enjoyed the beef over rice and chili oil dumplings. The owner and staff were incredibly kind and brought great energy to the dining experience. Despite inflation causing many NYC restaurants to use cheaper ingredients, this restaurant maintains high-quality ingredients, which you can definitely taste.

Yelp
I prioritize visits here whenever my schedule opens up. The meals satisfy deeper than just appetite. All our choices left us satisfied. The workers here are incredibly welcoming. This spot delivered consistent excellence.

Yelp
Keepin it real out here in Clinton Hill / Fort Greene Not our first time to Zhong Zhong but our first time in this Brooklyn location. Always a treat to find a solid Chinese spot in an area without too much Asian food, and better yet, the food and service was solid. The food definitely hit the spot for a rainy December day. We got a few noodles and sides, idk how they do it or cause im Chinese American, but every dish just tasted so right! A little out of the way for us but will definitely stop by again whenever we're in the area

Yelp
The food at ZhongZhong is good probably 4 stars but I have some real concerns about their cleanliness. The place is a mess. They may have been understaffed but I really questioned whether I should order from there. It was almost closing time and 6 of their 10 tables had leftover meals from customers that had already left. I was there for maybe 10 mins and nobody came to clean it up. In the kitchen it was the same deal. It felt like food was everywhere. It was just messy in a way an apartment kitchen might get but a restaurant never should.

Yelp
Nice little fast casual noodle shop. They were out of some of the options we were looking for but we were able to find something to eat. They have a vegetarian menu on the back of their standard menu so good to know they have options. Will be back and hope they have more items for us to try next time!

Anne M.

Yelp
Love the texture of the noodles and soup. Spicy but not too much. The beef could've been more tender. Their fried chicken was very tasty and not too greasy. The place didn't have tables but counter space.

Michael H.

Yelp
Delicious! Authentic Chinese food in the area Service is great! Restaurant is a bit small but food comes out quick and portions huge! Might be my new favorite noodle spot in the area. Szechuan beef noodles are super spicy and noodles have a great texture that tastes like home! Ambiance: Great playlist playing. Always quick comfortable meal here

Yelp
It's been a while since I've been here but I remember I was introduced to this place from a Yelp event. I remember a warm and welcoming space. Great for a lone lunch, an intimate casual dinner or a table with friends. I remember being obsessed with the marinaded eggplant. Like...bruh...I went home trying to recreate it with the leftover marinade juices from the to-go container! Save meee! Ha! I remember the noodle soup had a rich beefy broth and the noodles were very filling. It was a bit of an adventure to get there but worth the trek! Check em out! Support your local small businesses and don't forget to tell a friend to tell a friend! Cheers! Insta @saltandsavor

Yelp
Absolute hidden gem! The restaurant is quiet small but their food is amazing! My friend and I ordered a variety of dishes to try and the only one that didn't quite strike us were the dumplings. The noodle was perfectly flavorful with lots of toppings and the fried chicken was so tasty especially with the sauce it came in! The service was quick and simple, you just order at the front and they bring you the food. Everything here is very reasonably priced and you get a lot of food for what you are paying. Im sad that I don't live in Brooklyn otherwise I would Uber eats this often!

Yelp
- huge portion - inexpensive - good service - parking not ideal - 15 minute turnover - not good for dine in - food stays warm for a long time - fried chicken app is a meal by itself

Yelp
An unassuming noodle shop in Fort Greene contains a small interior, but plenty of flavor. All of the food is Sichuan cuisine, and I really enjoyed everything I ordered here. The braised beef noodle soup is the perfect dish to order on a cold winter day, and pair it up with some soup dumplings or wontons in chili oil. It is a great lunch or dinner, whichever you choose. As stated, there is really nowhere to sit, except maybe 10 stools with a bar facing the wall. This is the kind of food you eat in, I do not feel this is something you order take out. I am sure it still tastes good, but it may not be the same. A four star review well deserved of this rating. When I was in San Francisco, I had a dish very similar to this, and feel the noodle dish here is on par with that. Tingly, fresh, and generous.

David H.

Yelp
Nice spot by the Fort Greene park neighborhood with some legit tomato and beef noodle soup. Their noodles are quite tasty and it's reminds you of hot pot soup when you do taste it. The shop is very small so basically it's a fast food take out but with higher quality Chinese food. Service is okay there but I wasn't too happy when I was charged a tipping fee even though I went to go pickup the food myself through their online app so be aware of that when ordering for pick up.

Suanne L.

Yelp
Zhong zhong makes tasty noodle soups, dumplings, and rice bowls, specializing in Chongqing/Szechuan style. The space is small, with tall stool seats for about 8 people and a couple spots outside. The set up is modern and very casual, and due to the small size, it encourages you to eat quick and go. I ordered pick up on a Friday night and there were a few people eating in and a hustling takeout/delivery stream of orders. Orders are well packed and balanced. My order was ready on time and very hot. I ordered: Szechuan Braised Beef Noodle The winner is clearly the Szechuan Braised Beef Noodle, with large tender cuts of beef in a broth that had notes of umami, star anise, scallion, and topped with numbing chili oil. Noodles are thin and bouncy. The dumplings are also solid and are four to an order. Dumplings have a good skin to filling ratio. The fried chicken rice bowl is very good and should please many picky eaters who may not want spicy. The mapo tofu is very mild relative to all the other dishes, with a sweeter Japanese style instead of the ma la numbing chili style you may find at other shops. The tofu is silken soft and good quality. Portions were good for the price point. I really want to try the beef tripe hot pot on my next trip! Slight criticism is that I paid for extra vegetables with my noodles which were forgotten.

Yelp
We loved everything we tried here. The flavours and textures are really great and the vegetarian options are perfect. For a vegetarian meal, I'd recommend getting the $20 meal deal with vegan beef pan fried dumplings, vegetarian pickled chili noodles (sour flavor. I'm guessing it'd probably be vegan without the marinated boiled egg), and the sweet herbal tea (walovi). The staff are also friendly :) I can't wait to come back and try more food here!

Tanya G.

Yelp
Really enjoyed this new restarant in neighborhood everything was fresh and delicous, even gave me the pork dumplings free of charge, friendly and welcoming welcome visit again

Yelp
Can't believe ZhongZhong opened a new store in Brooklyn! I am a fan of Zhongzhong Noodle! From their first location on Roosevelt Island to the Bronx, and now seeing them open their third location in Brooklyn here, I am really happy to see a restaurant surviving through the pandemic and doing even better now. Really happy for them. We ordered their Tomato Sliced Beef Noodle and Zajiang Noodle both are still as delicious as ever. Zajiang Noodle is still my must order choice. The sour and sweet of tomato soup paired with the ramen noodles is just perfect! Always recommend Zhongzhong if you like Szechuang flavors!!

Amira A.

Yelp
It was only one other party there when I arrived so I was able to order relatively quickly. I ordered the Za Jiang Noodle and the Spicy Wonton in Red Chili. I loved the wontons. Those were my favorite. I asked the guy behind the register what was his favorite between the marinated fried chicken and the wontons. He mentioned the wontons. They were really flavorful and had a nice spice to it. The texture was good and everything I had tasted fresh. The noodles were separate from the toppings since I was having it to go. I did end up with leftovers and day two of the noodles kind of reminded me of a spaghetti with minced meat texture. the food was delicious.

Sa P.

Yelp
Delicious! Fresh and my kids won't stop ordering, the deal was good report card I'll get you Zhongzhong! We love the Braised beef noodle, coconut drink the best!

Rosa C.

Yelp
We came here for a promotion but also paid for additional food and the review is for both! We had a lovely meal on a rainy Sunday evening. I loved the food- especially the tomato hot pot, which I found really unique and perfect for a tomato lover like myself. The spicy beef noodles conveyed the spiciness without burning my mouth and stomach and the beef was tender and had the perfect amount of tendon. The spicy wonton was delicious but I would take a pass on the soup dumplings next time (skin too thick and meat too sweet for my preference). The shop is super small, but there were about 8 seats inside the shop and about 6 seats outside. The staff is polite but not overly friendly. Zhongzhong turned out to be much more inconvenient for me to get to than I imagined which was a bummer since that might limit my future trips and I won't be making a trip specifically to eat here but it's starred on my map for when I'm in the area!

Phil M.

Yelp
Szechuan Braised Beef Noodle was a festival of unchewable thick fat with every bite. Avoid at all costs. Hate to leave negative reviews but this was absolutely vile.

Xinrui Z.

Yelp
Very good restaurant, their ZaJiang noodle is the must try, the flavor is authentic and intricate, I've never had this type of noodle in any other Chinese or Korean or Japanese noodle place, highly recommended. The tomato beef noodle is okay, definitely above average, but not as impressive as the ZaJiang noodle.

Jamila F.

Yelp
The food is delicious and made well. Absolutely loved the portion of food. We ate our food and still had more left over. Definitely will come back for the Tomato sliced beef noodles and pork & chives pan fried dumplings.

Jenn Y.

Yelp
Don't live too far from here and walked over after a playdate at the nearby park. Prices are reasonable and food is satisfying. I like it. Four words : marinated beef rice bowl. The favorite thing I had and my go to-order every time I come to this place now.

Lori S.

Yelp
I ordered fried chicken and spring rolls for my son. Both tasted 'off' like they'd been fried in rancid oil. The chicken was pink on the inside - possibly undercooked? Both were very unpalatable due to the odd flavor. We had been looking forward to trying this, so it was disappointing. Service was friendly, though.

Tamisha H.

Yelp
went to fort green yesterday and I seen this place from the outside they suppose to be new anyway I order a fried chicken rice. The location was at 154 Adelphi Street brooklyn ny 11205. Usually I would check my order before leaving any restaurant but I was in a rush and the bag was seal up and my daughter was tired so I waited until I got hme..and I told the guy that took my order I wanted my chicken well done and crunchy. Upon arriving hme I open the food and I am like wait why is the chicken pink then I cut open every piece of chicken was not cook and my husband bite piece he could have gotten hepc or salmonella. I contacted the store right away and they were acting like they didn't know what I am talking about the manager ask for my name and number gave it to him he like I will call u back before the store.close so I can look up the transaction never recieve a call back concerning this matter. Then I call back today to see if the manager was there a woman answer today she is like the manager not here and I'll take ya number and they will call you back after I speak to them. No one call back since 138pm I spoke to someone earlier today april 30th I called again and the sane lady answer saying yes the manager said you can get a free meal. Listen I don't want no free meal.i don't want to eat nothing else from this restaurant I want.to be compensated for this raw food why is raw chicken being serve to people. And not to mention I was the only customer in the store it's not like they were busy. And now all of a sudden they like they don't give refunds they can give me a free meal I am like what I am not eating from yall again and then I ask the lady why did I have to call back for you to tell me a manager said why didn't the manager call me directly I left my number twice and then they hung the phone up. This is the most disrespectful and unprofessional establishment I have ever dealt with. If anyone can give me any advice legally what to do please comment and share.

Yelp
Big portions and quality food! Enjoyed the braised beef noodles, the beef was so tender. Highly recommend on a cold day!

Siyuan Z.

Yelp
Sooo good. Really authentic Chinese food. Highly recommend the Braised Pork Rice Bowl. Best one I had in NYC.

Rennison C.

Yelp
I got the noodles and it was just way too salty for me. I didn't enjoy it. There's no ambiance. It's a take out place. Service was fine.

Jo L.

Yelp
Simple Szechuan restaurant with the classic dishes. Tried their wontons, which were on point. The staff was very nice and reminded that I need to mix it well. The sauce was a little thicker than plain oil with the right amount of sesame seeds and scallions.

Hyeji K.

Yelp
Ordered on Uber eats as I was craving some spicy, hot Asian food after my trip from Mexico. This place was a very nice surprise, they were doing a buy one get one fried chicken (Taiwanese style I believe), which locked me in. The chicken? um?? So juicy?? And crispy?? And the portions were awesome! Totally above my expectations because I was really ordering for the sichuan tang. I ordered their fish hot pot, normal spicy which was already their spiciest. I ended up adding some things thinking it was just the fish such as some veggies and mushrooms. I was wrong! The dish comes with so many additional goodies, especially the tofu skin and mushrooms, pieces of spam. This was SPICY and absolutely hit the SPOT! The flavors were there the spice was there, for the price even with the add ons it was very worth it. I threw in a Shanghainese pork rice bowl that was on sale for $11 and that was great too! Well season, sauce was flavorful and the pork was so tender. The bowl was heavy!! Our total for these 4 items was $45 and lasted us two meals and a mid night snack! Will definitely be ordering from here again when I'm in need for a quick spice fix.

Shelli S.

Yelp
Great food and fast service. The spicy wontons are to die for - definitely worth trying.

Chris W.

Yelp
Delicious soups my favorite is the Chicken Soup 24 hours of pure fabulousness. Reminds me of my Mom's chicken soup. The delivery is always hot and fresh! Great service

Nicholas H.

Yelp
Zhongzhong has good service and great food. Nice for a quick bite. I really enjoyed the different kinds of noodles.

Johnny G.

Yelp
I ate in the restaurant and I have also gotten takeout. I strongly recommend eating in the restaurant because several of their dishes to not warm up well at home.

Alicia J.

Yelp
I ordered the fried chicken bowl and it was horrible the chicken wasn't fully cook the outside was crispy but one bite and the inside was pink almost raw. This was a take out and I live far from the Aldephi restaurant. I called them and explained. They put me on hold forever then someone else would pick up and put me on hold. I gave up and ended the charade. I didn't even want the money back. I just wanted to inform them of their undercooked food. I was so upset I threw out the food. I wished I took pictures to upload and share. They need to do better.

Lauren P.

Yelp
There was so much fat on the beef in the marinated beef noodles that it wasn't edible. I called to complain but I was redirected to Uber eats to get a refund. Super disappointed.

Ippei I.

Yelp
Szechuan braised beef noodle and pork soup dumplings were delicious. Will try other dishes soon.

Aidan A.

Yelp
Great servixe, friendly people, amazing tasting food. Try the Shumai and the fried chicken for sure!

Tyler M.

Yelp
Very warm and rich broth with a nice spicy kick. Great noodles and variety of choice.

Ember Y.

Yelp
Nice and chill place with good really good soup in their soup noodles. Can't complain about the service.

Chuhui L.

Yelp
The food was absolutely divine. I ordered the braised beef noodle, and it was cooked perfection. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I was impressed with Zhongzhong and can't wait to return.

Sahana P.

Yelp
Nice casual hot pot place ! Service was helpful and love that they have so many vegetarian options.

Alice P.

Yelp
This is my go-to spot in Fort Greene. Braised Beef Noodles and Spicy Wonton in Chili Oil are must try items on the menu!

Rakia U.

Yelp
Finally made my way to the new Brooklyn location ! It's beautiful inside very spacious and nice. We didn't dine in however I wouldn't mind doing so. I ordered my usual Szechuan Braised Beef Noodle with extra beef, my fiancé chose the Fried Chicken Rice Bowl which he really really enjoyed. I love that no matter the location I chose the food will ALWAYS BE PERFECTLY THE SAME. The spice , the tender meat, the noodles just everything Food wise is always PERFECT! Being that it was my fiancé first time, the cashier was very very patient with helping picking a meal that best Suite him. We were greeted with very warm & welcoming hellos, as well as goodbyes/come again. The area is so convenient! There are citi bikes right across the street if your like to take a bike ride there. The overall experience was a real pleasure, I'm so excited about this location and how close it is to my home ! This made my whole week Lml I love Zhongzhong Noodle Brooklyn. Make sure to check it out. I'm sure it will become a staple in that area/community

Jabber T.

Yelp
Limited menu but the food is great. Recommend steamed dumplings. Best for take out as space is limited.

Han G.

Yelp
Delicious noodle dishes! I'm Cantonese and these felt both homey and chefly at the same time.
