Service was great. Pastries and coffee were also wonderful. The place is super small so it can be a bit packed even with just a few customers, but they are getting orders quickly. There were 4 tables outside (6 seats), but besides that it's more of a grab and go place.

Outstanding coffee, passed by this morning for a cappuccino which was excellent. It’s a small shop so there are no places to sit, I enjoyed my coffee standing by the bar. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Will come back these days for sure!

Superb, tiny espresso bar not far from Central Park. No seating inside. Four small tables and six chairs outside. Best espresso I have had in Manhattan. First time I have had a barista in a tie serve me. 😊

My absolute favorite and expresso/atte/Coffee paradise. If you love coffee then this place is for u. I am here 2-3 times a week.. the place has a charm and coffee takes you to a Paris cafe.. it’s well priced and they have a lot of bite sized condiments.. my fav fav fav thing is mini bambalini it’s a bite that’s worth it.. I highly recommend a visit . Crowd varies from suited finance bro’s , tourists to regulars like me

This is hands down the best lattes we’ve had anywhere!!! Staff is so, so nice and the whole place feels very family-like and authentic. Plus, they have vegan croissants and plant based milks!!! Visited this place every day when in NYC.

This dark, poorly decorated, small place serves one of the best espresso drinks I’ve ever tasted. Dark roasted, full bodied packed with hazelnut and brown sugar flavors. Their cappuccinos and cortados are unreal, prepared so skillfully that you just have to order a second one after your first sip. Definitely a Top 3 among the coffees that I’ve tasted in the US.

I think they labelled their prices wrong because I got a biscotti ($1.5) and machiatto ($3.5) and it somehow came up for ($7+). Biscotti was ok, could've been more sweet and buttery especially since the machiatto was so strong. This was also the smallest, most bitter cup of coffee I have ever gotten in my life and I am unsure of how to feel about it--apparently it's authentic Italian coffee, but I think I'll just stick with my watered down iced Americano. If espresso is your schtick, check this place out. If not, skip.

My friends and I stopped by in here for coffee and food. Walking in, it was smaller than we had expected and the only seating option was outside. The staff seemed friendly and the service was pretty quick. As for the menu, we found the choices to be limited. If you're looking for special coffee flavors, they don't offer any sweetner syrups. I ordered an iced cappuccino and I honestly wasn't too impressed, it wasn't as rich-tasting as I would have liked it to be and instead it was more milk heavy tasting. On the other hand, we were impressed with the prosciutto sandwiches they make which certainly hit the spot, especially when toasted! Overall, the cafe is a great place for a quick grab n go. It's conveniently close to Central Park and the subway.

My favorite quick coffee spot near Central Park! They are always quick and attentive. I always get an oat milk latte and the coffee is always perfectly roasted. It is rather small inside but there are a couple tables and chairs outside to sit at but I always order to go and then go to the park to enjoy it. My only complaint is the price: $7 (not including tip) for an oat milk latte is on the more expensive end.

This teeny tiny midtown Manhattan espresso bar reminds me of my travels in Italy. My latte was fantastic. Great place if you want a coffee drink to go as there is no inside seating ( there are a handful of tables outside).

The place is ok. I had a decent cappuccino here. No place to enjoy inside but you could sit outside next to the subway entrance and watch tourists look clueless passing by. Service was brisk and no time for niceties. (Fine by me!)

You want an Italian style strong espresso. Here it is. Surpringly the americano was better than the shot I found. No flavors here, just straight espresso drinks. The apricot croissant was great. Very tiny place with a couple of tiny tables on sidewalk.

Wow! What a cute French coffee shop. The place was tiny and had a line that moved pretty quick. I wanted a coffee before my walk throughout Central Park. This was definitely a treat! The barista was nice even though it was packed inside. She was helpful and seemed great at her job. I got an iced latte. The coffee was medium bodied, flavorful and high quality. Perfect place to grab and go. Check it out if you're in the area!

Love this little pocket of authentic Italian cafe right in the heart of midtown. You're not too far form the park so I highly recommend grabbing an espresso drink and a sandwich + cornetto and heading to Central Park for a little snacktime. CAPPUCCINO - one of the better cappuccinos I've had in the city, and now makes my top 15 espressos in NYC but admittedly that may be due to the cute vibe. If you order to stay you'll get the cute cup and saucer that makes you really feel like you're in Italy. There's outdoor tables so when the weather's nice, you can enjoy your coffee on the street and do some people watching. PISTACHIO CORNETTO - cornettos are the Italian analog to French croissants; here they are airy, soft (not flaky/crispy/crunchy like croissants are) and have a softer chew which I honestly prefer! The pistacho paste at the bottom is lightly sweet, and jammy. TURKEY SANDWICH - these little sandwiches are the perfect portion and they grill them for you before serving it to you. I will say that the interior was still quite cold while the outside was warm, but I still enjoyed it. Simple, delectable, and no frills. Transport yourself to Italy and return to Central park for a moment of rest for yourself.

Popped in for a quick cappuccino and pain of chocolate. Delicious and wonderful service. Enjoyed the cafe seating outside.

If you're close to the south entrance of Central Park and you're in a mood for coffee. Zibetto is your place to go. They make some good espresso shots and small sandwiches. They have some tables outside and two stand up bars

The coffee shops in NYC are fortunately uncountable and hence, there is almost everywhere a place to get a great coffee. All or many of them provide wonderful variations of coffee. And while they may not beat each other, their real win is not what they are but what they are not. I.e. it is great to have so many alternatives to Starbucks, and CBTL, and Peet's etc. The Zibetto had a nice Italian touch, the coffee was delicious as were a torta della nonna, a cannoli, and a tiramisu. Nice place to reinvigorate.

I like this place! It makes me feel like at home. It's a cute place, very clean. It's one of the few places where they do cappuccino in a cup and I can drink it at the counter. Their croissants are not the best but the apricot one tastes very good. Their prosciutto sandwich is so great. I come here often, I will continue doing so

Love me a sweet coffee break anytime anyday. I desperately needed some caffeine in my system after a long busy morning due to work today and this 5 min walk away hit the spot 100%. To top it off, I feel incredibly lucky that it was empty when I walked in because it's usually always packed to the max. The owner was super friendly and served me a beautiful cup of marocchino (cappuccino + mocha powder) and a side of the yummiest cannoli. I can definitely confirm all the 5-star Yelp ratings for some of the best coffee in New York. Zibetto has all my support!

Ordered: Marocchino (~$5) Aya's take: Nothing better than a warm coffee on a rainy day! I stopped by Zibetto since I was in the area, saw many positive reviews, and liked their cute cups. I went with the Marocchino to try something different. It's an Italian beverage made by layering cocoa powder, espresso, and milk foam. When I was handed my cup (which was pretty small), I was surprised at how light it was. It wasn't filled all the way. It's slightly resembles a mocha but there isn't nearly enough chocolate flavoring to call it that. It was a decent try but I wouldn't return here if I'm being honest.

Standing room only espresso bar where you can grab amazing coffee and a pastry or sandwich with it. Highly recommended if you like really rich espresso!

Amazing authentic Italian drinks. I've been looking for a place for affogato and Marocchino and finally I found the spot. Must visit. It's a little bit hidden but call if you can't find it.

Zibetto Espresso Bar has the best coffee in town! My husband and I recently visited Italy and we were on the hunt for a good comparable espresso to those we had in Italy. This place was exactly it! During our visit to NYC, we stopped by every single day for a double espresso (one day we stopped by twice). Service was great, barista was very helpful and sweet. Most importantly, the coffee was amazing!

This espresso bar has very authentic Italian pastries and coffee/espresso drinks. The barista was very efficient, too, so we didn't have to wait very long. I had a pistachio cornetto, and my husband had a chocolate one. I order the marocchino and my husband had a cappuccino. If I ever get the chance to return, I would order a latte "for here" and enjoy it from the ceramic mugs I saw other people drinking out of. We had to take ours to go this time.

Just plain good quality espresso. No flavors nothing fancy but so delicious! It's a really small shop with a line out the door but once inside it's friendly service and quick. We just got two lattes and they were so good! This is a coffee shop for true coffee fans.

Tiniest and most adorable espresso bar ever and nice short reprieve from a cold winter day. I ordered the maroccino because it was the only thing on the menu I had never heard of before. It was similar to a cappuccino, but had a nice extra cocoa touch. There's no seating but some people were standing inside drinking their coffee despite there being very little room to do so.

Zibetto Espresso Bar definitely lives up to its reputation and Yelp rating! I stopped by this morning while I was in town for a conference and got their cappuccino and a Bombolono alla Crema. The cappuccino was smooth and didn't need any sugar at all, and the bombolono was the perfect accompaniment. The bombolono had just the right chew and the cream wasn't too sweet. Drinking my cappuccino and eating the bombolo while standing inside in the shop reminded me so much of my trips to Italy! It made me yearn for a return trip to Italy - and it's food memories like this that make this place a special place to visit. I highly recommend this little, unassuming espresso bar!

Very tiny and unassuming, yet a great find for a true espresso bar: As the name suggests you may want to stop for a shot while on the road: standing up or sitting on one of just a few tables outside, no inside seating. For a quick snack they offer delicious ciabatta sandwiches, freshly prepared or a selection of mini sandwiches, bite size. Perfect for a short stop in a walk of the south end of Central Park towards midtown. The servers were friendly and prices were very reasonable. A real gem!

Quick, friendly service! Small standing area inside & quite a few seats outside. E & F trail lines right outside the shop. Lots of pastry options. Some savory options. I ordered an oat milk latte ($6) and my friend ordered a regular latte ($5). It was rich, creamy and delicious. Wish the portions were bigger for a $6 cup

An absolutely darling little espresso shop right by Central Park. Came upon it purely by accident and was so thrilled at my luck. It appears to be run by one person, who offers cornettos, sandwiches and of course, a great variety of drinks. I got an oat milk cortado and a bottle of AquaPanna. The cortado was silky and creamy and just the right amount of caffeine for an early afternoon break in my day. The shop is cute and the service was top notch, I will make it a point to stop here every time I find myself in NYC. If I had any complaint it is that there is no clear idea where the line to order is. The register is close to the door, but the menu is further back. My eyesight sucks so I had to go past a bunch of people to see it and I think they thought I was trying to cut because I was getting side-eyed. It worked out in the end but please consider a sign!

Small espresso bar with good espresso and a range of various drinks like cappuccinos and lattes. They have non dairy milks like oat soy and almond. Sadly it's a huge upcharge of $1. Most places now upcharge $0.50 or so for non dairy milk. Personally find it steep. Other than that I enjoyed my flat white. Service was average. Not much seating area inside- it was very narrow. There are a few seats outside. They also serve a variety of pastries such as croissants. I didn't try it but the person next to me said it was amazing.

A nice experience, reminiscent of Italian coffee bars (from what I remember as a 10 year old, anyway). I had an espresso and a macchiato. Both were good, not great. I prefer lighter roast third wave/specialty coffees, and this was definitely a more traditional Italian style espresso--darker roast, likely lower altitude beans. The main flavor was dark chocolate, with some nutty and caramel notes mixed in. If you prefer darker roasts and/or traditional Italian style espresso, this is a step up from Lavazza/Illy. Worth a visit even if, like me, you prefer lighter roasts. Nice to see a place that is different and has a strong identity.

This is a mix of feelings. I will give 10000 starts ratings to a very nice girl names Daviana (from Venezuela) and my 1 star goes to the manager or a guy that was here today pushing her to rush our coffee's. She make them with patience's and love. Great coffee's

I think I write an average of one review every 1 to 2 years. But this place was so good that I have to share it. I had a cappuccino made by Ronaldo, it was AMAZING. Do yourself a favor and come here.

This place was very small with a few bar height counter spaces for you to eat from standing if you choose to stay. They only had one barista making all the drinks but she was quick and got everyone's drink correct! It was the perfect place for some caffeine fuel to start the day.

Zibetto espresso offers an Italian style espresso experience. With a short but mastered menu of drinks and a small case of pastries, stand at the banquette (counter) with your tiny porcelain cup and imagine you're in Rome, Florence, Milan, and so on. The staff are all fluent and are pleasant, joking with the regulars. Space is small, standing room only, designed for you to enjoy quickly and go. Today I ordered a latte and a croissant (Cornetto). Cornettos come in plain, chocolate, cream, apricot, and multi grain. They also have some cookies, sandwiches, yogurt. Great for a 15 minutes espresso pick me up, a tiny luxury in the day to chat with a friend or find some inner peace on 6th Ave. Prices are midtown.

I was in midtown NYC looking for an afternoon espresso and Zibetto Espresso Bar showed up in my Yelp search. When it comes to coffee, I'm a purist and only want the purest cup without sugar or milk. It's a good sign when the line is out the door but it moves quick so don't worry. I had a biscotti and an espresso inside. There's limited outdoor seating if you can snag a table but I decided to stay inside where there was AC. Most people got their coffees to go. There's definitely a bunch of regulars coming here for sure. I would return again if I'm ever in the area.

My wife said the first coffee she had that was so flavorful it didn't need any added sugar.

My daughter has been craving real Italian everything after returning from a trip to Venice, and she finally was satisfied when we went to this location. I have to say that if Italian coffee treats taste as good as those at Zibetto, then I am truly envious that I did not go with her. Hmm. Maybe that's why she wanted me to visit this place. Sneaky, but smart. This place is delicious.
