We decided to grab a late lunch and I was really craving pasta! dinner and since we were already at the Market Village, naturally we decided on Zucca! When you walk in, the ambiance is hipster casual with a hint of upscale. You are greeted with the smell of deliciousness and the sounds of old school crooners, like Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole. The booths have tvs with remotes so my husband was in heaven! The food was so good, I had the pasta carbonara which was so delicious, the cream sauce paired so well with that noodles and the peas. My husband decided to do the challenge! He ate this HUGE smash burger and tots! It was fun watching him struggle but he finished! Watch the videos posted for his progress! My daughter had the burger sliders with sweet potato fries. We really enjoyed the meal and our server’s name was Gabrielle and she was amazing! We will definitely be coming back! Only issue that made me a little sad, no dogs but they have a beautiful patio. Oh well maybe one day I can bring my furbabies too! Note - As of now only service animals allowed.

Thanks to Kyle for the awesome service! Place is really nice, clean and comfortable. Lots of menu options. You can have dinner and then walk the Market Village. Will definitely go back!

Decided to get some pizza here after a night out with my husband. We got their Victory Pie and their pizza of the day which was Chicken Parm and they both were so good. Even heating them up for leftovers was good too! Would definitely come back knowing they are open super late.

Google
Loved the food and the outdoor patio, wish it had some lower regular tables not booths. The service was the biggest issue: appetizer came before our drinks, food modification wasn’t submitted, and the wait at the end. After finishing eating we waited for 22 minutes till I had to go get the server to get a box and the bill.

The best adjective I can use to describe Zucca Bar & Pizzeria would be AwesomeMazingTacular! Yes… That is my word! My afternoon started with getting Ice Cream for Friend Day. After a few hours, was time for dinner. I searched Yelp and landed on Zucca Bar & Pizzeria. As I had never been, I was excited as always to try somewhere new. Upon driving up to the location, I was taken by the beautiful scenery of the town center itself. The classic design aesthetic captures you and draws your mind to a place of peace and pure enjoyment. I was able to find parking quickly and headed to Zucca Bar & Pizzeria. Upon walking in, we were greeted by the young man at the host stand. He welcomed us in and advised us that they were currently only serving the late-night menu. To be fair, it was after 10 pm, so I was fine with that. LoL! Once he greeted us, he provided us with the menus and told us we could sit at the bar or anywhere we would like. As such, we decided to sit in a booth. Within moments of sitting down, we were greeted by Joe (I believe that was his name). He introduced himself and let us know that he and the other person on the floor would be assisting us. With that, he took our drink order and gave us time to review the menu. Though the late-night is minimal, there are still quite a few options so don’t be discouraged from doing a late-night visit. I decided to get the: Buffalo Chicken Sandwich (Fried) grilled or fried chicken tossed in tavern buffalo sauce, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion Ooh! When I say FRESH… I mean FRESHHHHHHHHHH!!!! The chicken was juicy and fried to perfection. The sauce-to-chicken ratio was spot on, and the fixings were very very fresh. The fixings were so fresh that they enhanced every single bite of the sandwich. Furthermore, the hoagie roll that it comes on is soooooooooooo good. I’m talking about fresh out the over type of fresh baked good. I got the sandwich with a side of tater tots and without me having to even say anything, guess what… They were golden crisp and fried to perfection as well with a crispy outside and soft center. Whew! This was def a late-night meal for the books. Oh yeah, and the Sweet Tea… You know I love me a Sweet Tea! It was the bombbbbbbbbbb… Sweet, Fresh, and great brew to sugar ratio. The service provided by all of the staff was amazing. The restaurant was super clean, very spacious with indoor and outdoor seating, and whoever had control of the playlist was not playing any games. I’m talking hit after hit of good song selections. In case you can’t tell… I’ll be back VERY Soon. LoL!!!!

Good food. Staff pretty good. Gets very busy. A lot of takeout orders, which makes it difficult to navigate anywhere. Should have separate takeout pickup area to not bother people dining in.

Google
I took off one star because the pizza was not very good and with pizza in its name, I expected superior BUT. . Service was excellent and so was the chicken fingers and sub! Beer was cold and outdoor seating was a 15/10! I'll definitely go back but order something else. It may just be my style is different. Also extremely clean and well decorated

Google
Here for a quick lunch, I really like this little walking plaza, cute water fountain, and shops to walk around with a few eateries. Had high hopes for this pizza place but let down by the food. Outside seating was perfect, but pizzas were not so perfect. The specialty was extremely wet, and the peperoni didn't even compete with Pizza Hut as far as quality and flavor. They need to work on that for SURE! Maybe they do better with other dishes, but will we return to find out? One and done...lol

Yelp
Indoor area is fun and good energy - TVs and good lighting Patio is clean airy, shaded, and has TVs Food is fantastic. Salads to apps to pizza... beer selection is good Food and Drink prices are fair. Serving Service and attentiveness can +/- depending where sitting, time of day, busyness etc

Yelp
We went for lunch today and the food and service were wonderful. Great spot after church for lunch to watch sports on TV while you eat. Had the Zucca calzone, Parmesan chicken sliders and pizza. Can't wait to go back, it was all so good!

Yelp
Pictures here are from 2 visits within the past 2 weeks. I really like this place! I will most definitely be back- specifically for the garlic knots!!! They are seriously the best I've ever had. I'll be ordering them every time I come. I wasn't crazy about the chicken Parmesan Stromboli from my last visit (it was just really dry and didn't have much flavor) but the baked ziti was really good yesterday. Cake tasted great too. I like the vibes inside. The outdoor area could use a little work to make it feel more "home-y" during the winter but it isn't bad (no decor, lots of supplies sitting around etc.) Our servers both this week and last were courteous. Last night it took us a while to get our check which I'm not really a fan of, but I understand the servers get busy. Zucca is located in the downtown Smyrna village area so parking can be kinda difficult on weekends but there is overflow parking available around the back of the shops and restaurants. The area is very nice to walk around. If you have a wait, you can sit by the fountain outside etc. Overall there could be some little improvements but my friends and I have enjoyed our visits lately :)

Yelp
I've passed by this spot so many times but never actually made my way inside. My kiddos and I were visiting the Smryna Handmade Market and since it was time for lunch it was a no brainer to grab some food. It was a little after 1 on a good ol football Sunday afternoon and it wasn't crowded at all. I did notice that it is rather dark inside but the outside patio area was the perfect place to hang with plenty of sun coming through. The hostess was super sweet and helped me maneuver my way through the restaurant with my kiddos and stroller in tow. The waitress was so kind and friendly and did a lovely job checking on us and making sure we had what we needed. The menu is full of the usually suspects found at a pizza spot and I decided to grab a Sicilian slice off the lunch menu with tomato and Italian sausage with a side Caesar salad. I ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza off the kids menu and fries for my kiddos and that pizza slice was huge. The food was delicious and very cost-friendly. The salad was a lot bigger than what I expected for a side and it left me rather full which is a good thing. The Sicilian slice was a decent size and while I took most of it home, I liked that it wasn't sure bready and drenched in tomato sauce. There was also a generous amount of toppings which I appreciated. A really great first time experience and I'm sure we'll be back soon! Kudos to being family friendly!

Yelp
Dinner was so great! Would give 10 stars if they would let me. Super fun atmosphere for everyone. Sammie our server took awesome care of us. We definitely will be back.

Yelp
Late on Saturday night, our group of five visited Zucca. The host welcomed us and instructed us to choose a seat. After waiting for over 15 minutes without a waiter, we sought assistance. I ordered 2 old fashioned drinks and a large pizza with mushrooms, spinach, and tomatoes, while others in the group ordered wings and a small pizza. After a 30-minute wait for the food, I approached the manager for an update, and the dishes promptly arrived. Unfortunately, the wings were cold and had to be sent back. The pizza was average, but I enjoyed the 2 Old Fashioned drinks.

Yelp
We ordered the Mussels as an appetizer because they were out of the Trout Dip that particular day. The mussels were really good! The mussels were big and were sautéed with olive oil, capers, tomato, white wine, garlic, basil, and comes with ciabatta toast. For dinner we ordered the large Pesto Sausage pizza and added mushrooms. That pizza was also very tasty. Overall, our experience was positive and we will definitely come back for sure! Try it, you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Pizza, mussels everything great and staff took care of our big group at last minute - good local atmosphere for family and couples Manager Mark was exceptional too

Yelp
Love this place honestly, great staff and great food. I like going after 10 pm bc they do $3 slices of pizza- but their menu is smaller after this time. I just love that they are always open late. They have daily specials for drinks, you'll just have to ask or look on the board at the back. Parking here isn't great but it's fine. They have good sandwiches and fries, the only thing I don't recommend is their mozzarella sticks- you only get 6 and mine were so cold/not melted.

Ken C.

Yelp
One of my favorites. They always deliver delicious food and great service. Keep up the good work!

Yelp
Ordered delivery using Door Dash. Fast delivery and great calamari, cheese sticks, salad, and chicken parmigian!

Yelp
This place is a bust. We actually came down from Alpharetta to check their new "speakeasy" Propaganda and let me tell you what a let down it was. Propaganda is about the size of an average living room, with cool furniture and some neat decor. But beyond that, it's a total dud. After showing up to our reservation to a completely empty room, we decided to go downstairs and try the food at Zucca. If Propaganda was disappointing, Zucca was even more-so. We ordered the "Garlic Knots" which was nothing more than canned rolls smothered in garlic butter. Then we got the Victory Pie, which according to our server is "our #1 award winning pie!" The pizza came out looking like it just slid around in the backseat of a Dominoes delivery driver's car. The cheese slid off of every piece when we tried to pick it up. The crust was stale and the sauce tasted straight out of the Kroger jar. I do not recommend Zucca or Propaganda.

Yelp
Our order was messed up twice but once I got it it was tasty. A little above average in taste but Extraordinary amount of time it took to get our food and the fact that we really never got our food correct takes away from any exemplary rating I could give this restaurant Took 25 minutes to get our order! Service was very apologetic But doesn't help when you have a two year old that's starving! And three adults that are also starving!.

Yelp
We have been to Zico's maybe every other month for 4 years . Great location and Alden's great food and service ... Garlic knots and the chicken masala amazing ... pizzas are also fantastic

Yelp
This place does not deserve the 3.5 rating it currently has. The starters we got were calamari and garlic knots. Calamari was a 2/10. It was definitely frozen, lacked any flavor, and was chewy. The sauce it came with was a standard pasta sauce you can get from a can. It just tasted store bought. Garlic knots were a 3/10. The garlic knots came swimming in its own butter pool. The plate was flooded in so much of it i had to pour it out onto a different plate. The bread was at least soft but it had store bought Parmesan powder on it. The sauce was the same as the calamari's, canned. The food we decided to order was spaghetti and meatballs and lasagna. Spaghetti and meatballs 0/10. The spaghetti was rubbery, the sauce was bitter, meatballs tasted old, frozen then reheated, it lacked seasoning or flavor. Over all it was just sad. Not to mention we had to drain the plate from the pasta water that accumulated at the bottom. It was raining when we came in, must have rained on the plate too it basically was a soup! Lasagna was a 3/10. The lasagna was greasy, the cheese tasted old, the meat was bland and was obviously frozen, the sauce still tasted canned, but the pasta was at least cooked ok. Not much flavor and wasn't worth the $21 dollar price point if it was gonna taste like a cheap $12 frozen lasagna u can pop into a kitchen oven and put onto a cute plate. But the sweet tea and coke was great the waiter we had was supper nice and quick. I can see why this place was basically empty and had to have the restaurant right beside it added to their menu. A almost $70 dollar meal that was nothing but disappointing. I'd refrain from coming here.

Yelp
The food is excellent. The atmosphere and vibe was good as well. Customer service was outstanding. Definitely will be back

Yelp
Zucca was one of me and my wife's favorite restaurants. We went there on date night every other week. The food and service was great. However we no longer feel included and accepted. The large flag above the front door seems to identify the only patrons they are seeking. If it was an American flag then everyone could enjoy the restaurant. Happy 4th of July guys.
google avatar

Erika W.

Yelp
We decided to order food from Zucca Bar to help us decide if we would go visit Zucca Bar in person. My husband ordered the carbonara with chicken and I ordered chicken francaise. My husband loves pasta but I have been disappointed too many times with pastas not having any flavor. The garlic knots and carbonara were super tasty. My pasta and chicken were tasteless. I'm hoping lemons, butter, and white cooking wine were just in low supply. Needless to say, I will continue to avoid pasta.

Yelp
The customer service was exceptional (BIG UP Margaret!!), but the food was middle of the road. When looking at the name of the restaurant focus on the "Bar" piece. The food was sufferable, but was FAR from having a "WOW Factor"...Based on the multiple items on the table, everything looked extremely "Ho Hum" and tasted about the same (Bar food). Zucca has a nice ambiance and ample TV's, playing a variety of sports and each table that I paid attention to had it's own personal TV, but to call Zucca a "Pizzeria" is almost blasphemous, but I digress...And what the #@%$ was that musty smell!?!? I wasn't the only 1 at the table that caught the tang!! As a "Bar", I think Zucca is pretty damn good, and could be a regular watering hole, but as a "Pizzeria"? Welllll...!?

Steven K.

Yelp
I have frequented here for a while. The service is pretty good. The food is good. You can tell it's made from scratch even the soups. I pizzas and wings are good. It looks like a dive bar. It is connected to one and share a menu. So if you don't want Italian the burgers and sandwiches from next door are an option. Good for late night eats too
google avatar

Madalyn J.

Yelp
The nightly specials are always great, we love coming on wednesdays for $10 bottles of wine and half off pizza! The garlic knots are delicious if you like a lot of garlic! Our favorite pizza is probably the Victory pie, and favorite pasta is the chicken Gorgonzola. The calzones are also really good! Always a good time here, lots of tvs for watching tv or sports games!

Yelp
I've been trying to get back to this delicious pizza for a minute now!! Never disappoints. The atmosphere whether sitting at the bar and chatting it up with a fellow patron and server is such a welcoming vibe.

Yelp
The food was great. We sat outside on a beautiful evening the service was excellent. And the prices were reasonable.

Yelp
ordered take out , drove and picked it up. was ready in the time frame stated. great service receiving the large pizza tasted it and was very pleased with how delicious it was .a must visit to sit down and enjoy the area .

Ann C.

Yelp
Ordered take out a few weeks ago. Food was excellent. So we attempt to do so again yesterday early evening. Although they advertise on-line option, they refused to accept online or take out orders. No reason given. No apology. Bummer customer service. Could not recommend.

Susan E.

Yelp
We have eaten at zucca many times and have brought home pizza many times from here, in fact Zucca is in our top 4 pizza places. Last night we did takeout.. The pizza was waaay over cooked which made it very crunchy and hard..and the toppings were not spread out evenly..we had to move them around ourself...in fact we ate 2 slices and then gave up This is definitely not the norm..but we were very disappointed and threw out the rest of the pizza and 30dollars...

Annie C.

Yelp
always delicious and fresh! so much to choose from ... they serve their pizzas well done so i always order please do not overcook... love their shrimp risotto

Yelp
As a recent transplant to Smyrna from ITP, we have been looking for places to call our regular spots...Zucca has definitely made that list!! Located in Smyrna Village, on the Atlanta Road side across from Moe's/Atkins Park is Zucca Bar & Pizzeria! When you walk in, you see a dining area with booths/tables in front of you, a bar to the right and a covered/uncovered patio to the left of you. What this means, if you have plenty of options with seating! In addition to the seating choices, you have plenty of TV options as Zucca has SO MANY TV's...even the booths in the main dining area have personal TV's in your booth! So, this means that if you want a particular game, they got you! In addition to seating options, Zucca serves up some pretty legit food! While the pin themselves as a pizza joint, they have a lot of things to offer! In addition to their pizza, which I have of course enjoyed, I have enjoyed sandwiches, wings, and a few random apps. To start, the latest pizza I enjoyed was their "Spicy Hawaiian", which is a basic Hawaiian pie with ham and pineapple, but kicked up with sliced jalapenos. Before we gorged on this pie, we had the cheese sticks. They were relatively basic cheese sticks - crispy, perfectly fried with gooey, yet firm cheese inside! I do have to say that the house made marinara was slightly bland, thin and watery in nature. Overall, they were decent and I would order again. On other visits, we have sampled their chicken sandwich. You better be hungry when you order this, as this sandwich features TWO pieces of chicken prepared to your liking (we had fried, clearly!). The sandwich is sided with your choice of side, we went basic and got their fries. However, prior to the sandwich we dined on the risotto balls. These were quite delicious, as they featured warm and gooey risotto and cheese balled up together and fried! The only thing was the house made marinara that took away a tad, but not enough to care. Additionally, I have sampled their wings on multiple occasions. Their wings are easily some of the crispiest I have ever had! I have had the lemon pepper and garlic parmesan. I have to say, between the two, the lemon pepper win out! Also, I would be remiss if I didn't mention that Zucca has great specials daily! Currently, they have $4.00 house cocktails. They speak my language every Saturday with this! If this doesn't do much for you, they have food specials including 1/2 priced pizzas and great priced burgers! Overall, Zucca has done really well by us and we are really happy to have found the place. From the location to the service, and of course the food, Zucca is a great spot - we will definitely be back!

Miranda M.

Yelp
Food is below average. Pizza has no flavor. Pasta is nothing special. Their garlic knots are the best thing on the menu. Service is meh.

Yelp
Tonight I was "in the mood" for Italian food and went to Zucca. Prior visits have been exceptional. Jodie was my server- he was attentive and friendly. All the staff was. The side house salad was a satisfying portion and had good greens. Not the more basic and cheap iceberg lettuce The dressing was delicious with the right amount of acid to oil I ordered from the "starters" menu-eggplant rollatini and the small (2) order of meatballs. The eggplant had good flavor, not overly breaded, the filling-lots of ricotta and mozzarella. Only negative is it was served room temperature and a little watery. The meatballs were a bit of a letdown, texture and flavor, and at room temperature. Not what I'd expect at an Italian restaurant. Maybe because I'm Italian and hold my meatballs to a very high standard ; they had the consistency of finely ground meat (think Taco Bell). This won't keep me from coming back though. Mangia!

Yelp
UM YUM. I was visiting out of town and a friend said this place was top notch so I definitely had to try it out. There is plenty of seating and it seems like they have a special every day. There's also a lot of parking in the area so you should be okay in that. We were sat & greeted right away. We ordered garlic knots & mozzarella sticks to start and both were delicious! The garlic knots were super garlicky and baked well. The mozz sticks had lots of cheese and were extra crispy. Both came with red sauce and it was great as well. For my main course, I ordered the bolognese, which is normally my go to at italian restaurants that have it. I absolutely loved the noodles! They were al dente and the sauce was very tasty. There were some carrots in it weirdly enough, but I couldn't be mad at hidden veggies. The sauce was really flavorful and the pasta altogether is a great go-to. I don't think Italian gets much better!
google avatar

Doug L.

Yelp
Came in just for a pizza. The service was good. They stopped by a lot to make sure everything was ok. The pizza was good. Nothing extraordinary though. The crust didn't have a lot of taste. The garlic sauce was a little too garlicky for My taste. And too much cheese. Almost made the pizza mushy. But a nice atmosphere. I would try again and know to be very specific in my order
google avatar

Kellie N.

Yelp
My friend and I ended up here for lunch by accident. This was a wonderful accident. The place wasn't busy, but I'm sure during soccer season, this place will be busy. I love that they have TV's at the booths. The food. Some of the best mozzarella cheese sticks I've had. My friend had the pepperoni pizza and loved it. I had 2 appetizers that were beyond yummy. You have to try their meatballs. So good. Their short ribs with risotto is out of this world awesome. Definitely not something I would expect from a sports bar. Needless to say, I'll be going back here again soon....as will my friend. She lives closer, so I'm sure she will make it back before me.

Shaeen S.

Yelp
Always consistent...staff is amazing...the best gluten free pizza... I want to take some time to write a positive review because this place deserves it
google avatar

Ryan Q.

Yelp
Pretty standard bar and pizzeria with some Italian fare and pizzas. I enjoyed the food and the wait staff was excellent. I ordered the Buffalo chicken specialty pie and while it wasn't my favorite of all time, definitely got the job done. Plenty of TVs and alcohol if you're trying to hang out

Angela M.

Yelp
The crust did not have salt and toppings were sub par. Did not finish pizza. Was take out

Nanci B.

Yelp
Don't waste your money! Risotto is NOT Risotto...its rice with tomato sauce. Tasteless. We thought the container of spinach was a joke for the price. Chicken parm needs a half container of parm cheese to make it edible. I'll never ever order from here again.

Ricky G.

Yelp
I have enjoyed this restaurant since they opened. Love their pizzas, lasagna and chicken parmigiana. The food is delicious and always consistent.

Yelp
Came here on a Friday afternoon as part of an afternoon of day drinking for a light bite. Hardly anyone was there, so service was fast and friendly. We got meatballs and another appetizer that I can't recall now (I did say we were day drinking). Overall it was good...not spectacular, but as a proud descendent of many an Italian cook, my bar is pretty high. I'd probably check them out again when I'm in the area and the mood strikes me!

Yelp
Always great food and always great service! The wait is a bit long, but worth it! (And expected on a busy Friday evening, really.) :)

The food is really good. The pizza is just the right thickness. The Italian Wedding Soup is homemade and hearty.. Ask for Ashley for your server. She is the best!

Yelp
Since our other lunch destination no longer offered lunch and only dinner, we chose to come to Zucca Bar & Pizzeria. It was either pizza or tacos and I rather eat pizza. I met up with a long time friend who I haven't seen in years. You don't realize how time flies until you talk about your children. Because I'm not familiar with Smyrna, I found this area really cute. I wouldn't mind coming back and just walk around and eat at another restaurant. Walking in, I smell something unpleasant. I have a strong nose. I couldn't think of what it actually smell like but after sitting down, it smell like urine to me but I'm like maybe I'm overthinking or maybe could be the cleaning products. We have that same incident at work. We were seated on the first booth closest to the patio. Later, we started to smell smoke. I don't like that. Next time, do not sit there. Because I wanted pizza, I got it the way I want. I got my fave - cheese pizza with just banana peppers & jalapenos. My friend got the chicken piccata. We shared both dishes. The pizza was good but I felt the crust was too hard and dry. I usually would finish a pizza crust. Not a fan of the chicken piccata at all. The chicken was breast meat and it was tender but disliked the flavors. Service was also not attentive. We had to ask for our waters to be refilled and couldn't flag a waitress when we were done so we could get the check. My friend has been here before and do enjoy it overall but for me, it's meh. 62/2019

Yelp
Needed something quick and decided to try this place out. Ordered chicken Gorgonzola through UberEats. This dish was inexpensive but was very fulfilling and tasty. Definitely will order from here again. If you love pasta then I'd recommend trying this dish among other offerings. Highly satisfied!

Yelp
Zucca's Large pizza has been getting smaller and smaller. It used to be 18" but the last 6 months they've started to make them 15" to 16".

Yelp
Used to go to this place all the time and liked the food there. Tried to go there tonight on a Saturday night and it was completely dead. We have out of state ID's and tried to order a drink when we sat down. The waitress looked at the id for super long and then a couple minutes later we had a manager we believe come over. She came to our table accusing us right away. If she would have just came to us nicely we would've understood. But she started by telling me to take my hat off and asking whats our address as well. Then we said that this was getting sort of ridiculous and she then got really angry and said "you know we dont have to serve you right?" And so we decided to leave sadly because we did like the food. The funniest part is that we saw a couple of the waiters that served us the past couple of weeks.
