Where to Chill Out in Phoenix With Dreamy, Creamy Frozen Treats

"Zuzu at the vibrant, retro Hotel Valley Ho serves a great American brunch or dinner — but customers should seriously consider ordering dessert first to fully appreciate the now legendary, over-the-top Show Stopper Shake. The theme (and flavors) changes every month. Recent choices include the Cup o’ Joe pumpkin spice milkshake topped with a chocolate mousse filled chocolate coffee cup, and the Let’s Go Party Barbie-themed milkshake with sprinkles and edible glitter." - Jamie Killin

"Hotel Happy Hour ZuZu at Hotel Valley Ho is a sweeping glass-lined space with a fun retro vibe. Cocktails like The Haboob – a tongue-in-cheek Arizona take on the Dark ‘N’ Stormy – are handcrafted and creative. ZuZu’s happy hour, called Cool Redux, is one of the best in town with $5 signature drinks and wine plus $4 beer. It takes place weekdays from 4 to 7 p.m."

The atmosphere here is laid back and relaxing. The service matches laid back and is fairly slow. The Brussels sprouts, although plenteous in quantity, were a bit underwhelming in taste. After reading the reviews about them we thought they would be better. The capriccio was absolutely delicious and the salmon had an amazingly grilled crust.

What we got : Hazy ipa Brussel Sprouts Calamari This place is such a hidden gem. I wish it wasn’t in a hotel where I would come here more often. I’ve never had better brussels sprouts in my life in here they cover in some kind of kimchi sauce and they put bacon in it and it is so darn addicting. I just wish they would go a little bit easy on the sauce as towards the bottom, it just becomes a pool of sauce haha and the calamari was so fresh tasting and crunchy. It was everything I wanted in it. This place is such a good spot and their Caesar salad looked really good. Everybody kept ordering it. The food also comes in big portions which I love.

Polly was an amazing server. Gave us great recommendations not only for drinks and food choices, but what to do after dinner. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. And delicious food!

My family stayed here and dined in every morning for breakfast. Our server was excellent, keeping our coffee topped off and warm. Water arrived right away and the food service was fast. It was a lovely relaxing start to each day. I wish they offered real maple syrup as an option but that’s my only suggestion. The food is fresh and we have no complaints about the portions. One morning, the chef kindly prepared a parfait that wasn’t even on the menu. Love the decor and ambiance that brings you back to the 50s with a mix of Palm Springs and LA. We didn’t bring our pup down but appreciated the option to dine outside with her if we wanted to.

The food was delicious and such a well designed retro modern restaurant. They have complimentary valet and a nice patio when the weather is good! Live music on some days too! We had the spare ribs and their salmon and they were plate licking good. Highly recommend.

Google
Really delicious food and a really cool vibe! Went on a Friday night and there was really great live music playing. The cocktails were amazing and the food was seriously some of the best I’ve had ever! Will definitely be coming back here next time I’m in Scottsdale!

I have been going here for a few years now for brunch and absolutely loved it. So much so I decided to try out dinner for my birthday. It was a great experience as well. Unfortunately a year later my boyfriend and I went for dinner and did not receive the same amazing service I was used to. After the dinner we spoke to Jarrett (the GM) and he apologized telling us he would appreciate if we could give them a second chance and would be sure to take care of us. A few months later and not too much has changed. Needless to say, save your money and go a few minutes down the road to Fat Ox, Mission, Maple and Ash, honestly anywhere else works. While the chef has amazing food the staff treats you like another hotel guest they will probably never see again. Sharing photos because they do have amazing food, I just don’t have time for subpar service

This restaurant is amazing, I visited to dine in first time, I had ordered dinner while siting at the bar, the food and service were incredible. Best food in the valley! I really enjoyed my time eating there mostly because of the delicious cocktails and the welcoming and attentive bartenders that were there at the moment (Andy and Markenson) they made the dinner experience unique!

Yelp
This was the choice for our Valentine's Day dinner. It's the hotel restaurant for the Hotel Valley Ho. Best burger Scottsdale/Phoenix, AZ. Full stop. We ordered a bunch of other things too, so here's the full lineup from what I remember: - Some bourbon drink, p much an old fashioned. Maybe it was - Burger - Filet - Ribs - Brussel The burger was the absolute best thing I ate. I would 100% order it again and I'd order it over the other things I got. Adding one more thing: yeah the service was pretty dang slow. They were well staffed, but we saw our server basically twice total so we really couldn't order more or anything if we wanted to.

Yelp
Came for Restaurant Week and loved almost everything we ate! The calamari was a standout with a fun twist--fried okra and lemons. The asparagus was probably the fanciest we've ever had (complete with an egg on top) and totally worth it. Main dishes were fantastic, and the fries? So good I kept stealing them off my husband's plate. Only miss was the citrus salad--it had some seriously spicy peppers that weren't listed on the menu, so I couldn't eat it. Luckily, my spice-loving husband was happy to take over. Finished the night with the Rocher-style dessert, which was rich and decadent--so rich we couldn't finish it. A good kind of problem.

Yelp
5 stars for dinner, 2.5 for breakfast... We ordered their 5 course meal for dinner and it was amazing! Wish they would've given us heads up on what was on that menu but surprise was part of the experience I guess and by the time the filet mignon arrived we were completely stuffed and i wish I wasn't because that filet mignon was absolutely delicious! Everything that came before it was incredible as well except for maybe the fried chicken/ice cream/pickle sandwich which seemed out of place compared to everything else served and was unnecessary. I would've skipped that to have room for the filet mignon...another suggestion would be to offer more wine/drink pairings with that dinner, it only had two small drinks. I thought each course would have its own pairing... otherwise, we had a wonderful experience, the service was great! What a difference the next morning... the service was slow, the food took forever and was absolutely average, my eggs Benedict were totally blah... what a contrast with the dinner the night before!

Yelp
This is a super cute spot with a retro vibe at Hotel Valley Ho! It's a great spot to grab a bite next to the pool and has a very relaxing ambience. The Sunrise Parfait was super fresh and delicious.

Yelp
It has been too long since we have dined here but I am happy to report that it is just as wonderful. The food is consistently delicious and the menu is always changing. It keeps it fresh and exciting. Tonight we had the empanadas and they were great. Shared a pasta dish and the burger. The mai tai is a must have and this time they had a fun brookie for dessert. Omg. Yes please! The service was excellent and the atmosphere is gorgeous. Yes. I will be back again and again. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I always enjoy coming here, the food is spectacular!!! I enjoyed some late lunch and a drink here with a friend on a Sunday. It wasn't very busy, and there were a lot of places to sit indoors and out. I decided to try the avocado toast with an egg and it was good. I also decided to try one of their mocktails called the Thai One On and it was delicious! I liked it better than my avocado toast. My friend ordered the Bao Bun tacos (I think?) and said they were also delicious. Our server was attentive and the outdoor seating was near the pool, with lots of beautiful plants and greenery to admire.

Yelp
Good food and drink here in an old school vibe / building. Patio heaters and free valet parking. Wife and i split the wings and fries and a couple glasses of wine each. Would totally recommend to others. We had a large group of 12 or so and the two servers we had did an excellent job! Plan to return next time we are in the area :)

Yelp
Incredible restaurant for cocktails and appetizers! I am sure their entrees are phenomenal, but we only went for a light meal before a show. The cocktails were fresh, the menu was inspired, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend going to this restaurant for great service, beautiful vibes, and incredible eats.

Yelp
I came here for brunch with a group of friends and overall it was just ok! The service was good but the food was kind of bland in my opinion. The bread pudding is worth a try but I had the breakfast sandwich and tried my friends hash, pancakes, and French toast and overall was not impressed with any of the mains, especially for the price. The hotel is cute though and valet is free when you dine at the restaurant. I would want to come back and try their dinner options but probably will not return for brunch.

Yelp
The food was amazing and the service was great! Highly recommend for any occasion. The decor is so unique and special as well. Like a very cool time warp.

Yelp
Great brunch and dinner menu! We sat at the bar and the service was great. Tons of gluten free options

Yelp
I have been going to Zuzu for years now! Their Caesar salad and fun shakes are my favorite thing to get along with their yummy fries. It's inside the hotel valley ho and the service is always good but always extremely slow. The servers don't know how to be quick serving which is aggravating for me as someone who's served for years. The hotel is a bit outdated but that's the vibe and it's very cute.

Yelp
We ate here for dinner and brunch while staying at the resort and I had a good experience both times. Our dinner server was Cru and he was absolutely amazing! He was incredibly kind and offered us so much info on everything from the menu to some of things we should explore while in town. For dinner we had the chicken sandwich and a burger. Both came out fresh and were really good. I added on an empanada and that ended up being the best thing I had eaten here. It was crispy and full of beef. It was served with a side of chimichurri. It was delicious!! We finished our meal with a brookie. It was like this hot out of the oven brownie topped with a scoop of ice cream. It was amazing! For breakfast my husband had the fried rice, and I ordered the omelette and the buttermilk pancakes. My husband really enjoyed the rice and both of my dishes were good but the omelette did not have enough bacon, it was primarily filled with large chopped onions and peppers.

Yelp
Highly recommend! Our server Sharon was the sweetest. We got margaritas - the fig toast, loaded sweet potatoes and shrimp tacos. Cute, indoor/outdoor vibe. Good stop off the beaten path in old town

Yelp
Great service at Zuzu! Our waitress was super attentive and did a great job handing a big table of 12 people who were very loud. The restaurant wasn't super crowded so I'm sure that helped speed up our food. We ordered multiple appetizers on the menu, everything from cauliflower, to pretzel bites, burrata, Brussels sprouts, truffle fries, etc. everything was very good, only complaint on the apps was the pretzel bites were completely burnt. Next for entrees - I ordered the Ribeye with mash. It was very good. Cooked exactly how I like it- perfect medium rare. There were great options for vegans and vegetarians too. We ended with 2 giant brookies for the whole table to share. I would recommend this spot for large parties.
google avatar

Yelp
Very cute restaurant and overall great experience. Docked one star for speed of service. The staff were all incredibly friendly, but drinks took a very long time to arrive and we had to ask a couple of times for a kids menu. Atmosphere: cute and clean dining area, not too loud, could easily hold a full group conversation at our table of 12, clean bathrooms Food/menu: there is a happy hour menu, we tried the wings and the empanadas and both were phenomenal (probably better than our actual meals) The kids menu is very basic: chicken tenders, Mac n cheese, etc. based on the regular menu, some additional kids options would have been nice. We ended up ordering off the regular menu for our child who wanted a seafood option. The dinner menu has a nice variety, allergy options are listed. All of the food is plated beautifully. All of the dishes we tried were very good, but the main courses were lacking flavor, especially the scallops. The desserts are very fun, and very large. Definitely meant for sharing!

Yelp
Ate here a few times during our stay thanks to AMEX Hotel Collection program and must say it did not disappoint. Sometimes hotel restaurants can leave you wanting more, but not here friends. For breakfast I highly recommend the pancakes, breakfast sammie and the breakfast burrito which is the size of a professional arm-wrestlers forearm, so def sharable. Pro-Tip: you can sub chorizo for any meat which I also recommend. The bar is delightful as well, with not outrageous prices. Menu includes 10 or so cocktails, from classics to new classics. The staff is friendly & knowledgeable so don't be afraid to go off-menu and order that Last Word.

Yelp
This place has Great food views and hospitality. It's connected to a hotel with a live DJ at the pool.

Yelp
What a cool retro vibe! Not like dusty old retro that hasn't been updated since the 70's, but rather, modern retro. The hostess was very nice. Our server was great! She made pointed out things on the menu to try and took great care of our little ones! We really liked the food! We were surprised to find that the cabbage side dish was the best thing that hit the table... that was until the Brookie came out! Or should I say Brookie Bar? It was such a great way to present a dessert! & a great way to end the evening.

Yelp
We stayed at the Valley Ho to attend the wedding of some great friends of ours. Because I am lazy and we didn't rent a car, I am always cool hanging out at the hotel bar and restaurant for the most par. Most times I don't expect much, but I was pleasantly surprised by the service and food at ZuZu, so much that this was the only place The Doctor and I ate at while in town. As some of the other reviewers have mentioned, ZuZu is an extension of the Valley Ho's Mid-Century look. The indoor décor is lovely as well as the outdoor area...absolutely wonderful, with plenty of umbrellas to keep the sun off of us, even though it was not that warm. For the most part, every meal we had there was great, and the service was excellent. There were not many times where I got to fill my own flute with bubbles, which I am used to doing. I can speak with authority that breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all worthwhile. Some of the dishes for dinner are very eclectic, going from Mexican to Iceland to Asia. I am sure that there are other places to eat in Scottsdale, but as this was my first time here, this would be my go to place if we travel back here.

David L.

Yelp
Consistently fun with great drinks and delicious food. Also, excellent service. 5 stars.

Yelp
Sometimes, you stumble upon a dinner so decadent, so indulgent, it feels like a secret too good to keep. Last night at Zuzu at Hotel Valley Ho, we were greeted by Chef Beau MacMillian with champagne, caviar bar with potato latkes, charcuterie, and a damn good start to what would be a night to remember. Chef Russell LaCasce--legend, friend, madman in the kitchen--took us on a ride. A seven-course feast that flirted with every indulgence possible. We kicked things off with a trio of compressed melon cocktails. Wagyu beef carpaccio so tender it melted before your first sip of the next shot. Nashville fried chicken with popcorn ice cream--sounds insane, right? Well, it was. In the best way possible. And the finale? A chef's selection of desserts that had us questioning why we hadn't tapped out a course or two earlier--but no regrets. Every dish, every shot, every moment was magic. Nights like this with friends remind you why food isn't just sustenance--it's celebration. To Russell, to Cru, to the madness. Until the next one.

Yelp
I love this hotel and have come here for breakfast many times. Today though was a horrendous experience. $24 for breakfast and the bacon was burnt, literally disintegrating when eating and I was provided what seemed to be the burned remnants of potatoes mixed in with whole potatoes. Had two servers, had to ask for hot sauce and one server came by and asked me if I needed salt and pepper when I had almost finished eating. Bad management, likely looking at everything but the food served and the servers. Probably won't be back for a while.
google avatar

Yelp
I love this place, and this morning's experience took it up another notch. I'll start by saying I'm a bit of a pancake snob. If I'm going to order a pancake for breakfast, it has to be the perfect consistency of fluffiness. Well, Cafe Zuzu has this perfected! Every time I come here to enjoy a staycation, I start my day with the buttermilk pancakes and a side fluffy scrambled egg. They just do everything fluff well! And, my bartender Andy this morning, was kind, accommodating, hardworking, and fully attentive. Every detail was attended to from my not-too-sweet iced mocha latte to my breakfast and details about my ongoing at the hotel and pool today. I will definitely keep coming back!

Yelp
Dined at Zuzu's for arizona's restaurant week and it was a great experience. I loved the décor of Zuzu's, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our waitress was amazing! We were seated in a very lovely spot of the restaurant to observe and take in everything. From the restaurant week menu, we ordered: Appetizers' the short rib empanadas iceberg wedge Entrees Steak Frites Pan-seared Red Snapper Dessert Apple & Hazelnut (praline, granny smith apple compote + brown butter cake Everything from start to finish was excellent. The empanadas' with chimichurri sauce was so amazing, the iceberg wedge was top tier and this was WITHOUT BACON (requested)...I know, shocker right?! That just means that it's going to be that much better with bacon. The Pan-Seared Red Snapper in all its glory was cooked to perfection and eating it was so heavenly. The steak was cooked perfect as well, the frites was just a tab bit overcooked for our liking. The dessert was something new that I tried for the first time and it was an enjoyable treat. Everything overall was great! I definitely will return to try some more great food. Rate 8/10

Yelp
While staying at Valley Ho for a week we enjoyed a few meals from Zuzu. Service was great friendly staff two that went out of their way for a great experience was Spencer and Chandler. Nice airy patio with shade umbrellas if needed. We shared the breakfast burrito one morning not sure how one person could eat this massive burrito. It was delicious stuffed full of steak, eggs, hashbrowns, covered in a delicious chipotle sauce. The salmon was also amazing served on black rice.

Yelp
Stopped in for a post dinner cocktail and something sweet and was not disappointed. I tried the VH Espresso martini and the Brookie. They were both a perfect night cap. The bartenders were prompt and friendly. We took a walk around the property and look forward to a future dinner.

Yelp
Pre-graduation early dinner. Fun ambiance and great service from Emily. Everyone enjoyed their food. Highlights were the Brussels sprouts, burgers and chicken sandwich. Great drinks too.

Yelp
Came here for my birthday lunch and loved it! Estevan was very kind, friendly, and attentive. Excellent service. Inside is beautiful mid-century. For food we had the Grilled Quail, and the Spicy Hawaiian Ahi Tuna. The quail was a bit overdone for me, but I loved their Ahi, rich with flavor and fresh. For drinks we got the ZuZu Zinger and Flower Child. The ZuZu Zinger was far too sweet for us so Estevan happily traded it out for the Flower Child for me which was perfectly balanced (has gin, lemon, rose, and grapefruit). For dessert we had the Brookie, a brownie cookie which came out hot with ice cream and chocolate pearls for crunch. To top if off they gave me a card all signed by them with a gift! A gift card to return, how sweet. Will return very soon.

Yelp
A great choice for AZ Fall restaurant week. The ambiance is so chill and inviting I would want to go back just to lounge or sit at the bar. The service was wonderful and the food excellent. I mostly enjoyed the Iceberg wedge salad. It was the best I've ever had with all the toppings and flavors. The pan-seared red Snapper was delicious and filling. The apple + Hazelnut brown butter cake dessert was different. It was like a cake bar that had small chunks of apples in it. I didn't realize the icing would be coated but it was pretty good. I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
I have been to this restaurant several times before, including for Thanksgiving. It has such a cool retro vibe that it feels like you're stepping back into the 60s. I wish they'd lean into this more with employee attire. lingo and order options. It's a cool setting but they don't really do anything to make it a retro experience and I think that would be so cool if they did. It could feel like you're stepping out of a time machine. The menu is always great...from everything from brunch to their jumbo fantasy milk shakes, to their Thanksgiving buffet. I was also very impressed with my espresso martini. We'll be back for Thanksgiving next year. It had a really nice appetizer bar with salads, cheeses and seafood-followed by a large Thanksgiving entree that did not disappoint.

Yelp
My niece and I decided on brunch at ZuZu after a morning at the Valley Ho's Spa. I had previously dined at ZuZu for dinner and the experience was fantastic, however, I was extremely disappointed in our brunch experience. Don't get me wrong, the food is good, but the service is awful. It took 10-15 minutes to get water and another 10 minutes before our server touched out table. No one ever came to fill our water. Our server touched our table a total of three times; one to take our order, two to confirm our take out order (for my partner), third to bring us the check. After running my card, the server dropped the bill and card off and immediately turned to go on with her business. I know it's hard for restaurants to fill their open service positions, but the quality of the service we received was unacceptable. Maybe it was a one off and the server thought we wouldn't tip well because we were in our spa clothes, but even if that it the case, those prejudices should not interfere with the quality of service.

Michelle M.

Yelp
We had a wonderful experience dining at Zuzu, last night, in the historic Valley Ho Hotel. Our waitperson, Niesha, was great, and the food EXCELLENT! We both got port ribs, but different entrees, brussel sprouts & asparagus--ALL fabulous! Not inexpensive, but thoroughly enjoyable, and will return again!
google avatar

Mary K.

Yelp
ZuZu has a very retro vibe to it and despite being a Saturday night, it didn't feel frenzied and hectic at all. Service was excellent and well paced. We ate from the tapas segment of the menu and every dish we had was excellent! Wanted to go there for years and I shouldn't have waited so long! Will be back.

Yelp
Super cute place with good cocktails, desserts, and vibes. They serve food too, but we just came for post dinner snacks. Jonathan was our server, and he was great. We thought we were done after one round of drinks, but after looking over at another table, we decided to have dessert, which was 3 for $25. So much for sharing; we ended up with each of our own. This bar/restaurant is inside Hotel Valley Ho. I love the ambiance, which is pretty much lowkey. There was live music as well, but the musician stuck to mostly 70s/80s so it was very subtle and not too noisy. I'm pretty sure with better weather and during touristy months, this place can easily get packed. Would def go back again.

Yelp
Came for a date night with my husband during Az restaurant week and the restaurant did not disappoint! The service, drinks and food were all excellent. We had the house truffle rolls, a kale salad, bacon wrapped dates, half chicken, steak frites and two amazing desserts between the two of us. Our waitress, Emily was as awesome, as were rhetorical rest of the staff.
google avatar

Yelp
Large portion sizes, fun atmosphere, and attentive service makes Zuzu a great brunch spot. I dined here alone the morning I headed out and it was a quiet morning. I was seated near the windows looking at the pool, enjoying the retro feel, and was greeted by a cheery waitress who provided great, attentive service. $24 for eggs and bacon initially felt steep but I figured it was due to the location. Then I saw the portion sizes! There was no way I was going to eat all that food - two perfectly poached eggs, a load of potatoes, English muffin, and fruit! I was quite surprised at the amount of food and left very full.

Yelp
We celebrated a friend's Birthday this past Sunday at Zuzu. It was a group of 20+ and we were seated out on the patio. They made it comfortable for us and had the space heaters on and umbrellas where we needed them. The service was great and the manager frequently checked on us. Now on to the food....WOW!!! It's was soooooo good. We'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Not a great experience at all. We came for my cousin's bachelorette brunch. Our server was extremely slow. She forgot to put in the French toast we ordered. Waters and drinks were not filled even though asked for water. It was so hot and we were on the patio, without water or misters. The food was delicious though. At our table we had a poke bowls, garlic fries, chilequiles, and a breakfast burrito. For Drinks we had the Scottsdale, the Tropical Inferno, sparkling rose, and a mimosa. Everything was delicious except the Tropical Inferno. The Tropical Inferno would have been amazing without the demerara. It over powered everything else in the drink. Maybe the server was having a bad day. I would try it again because the food was actually very good.

Yelp
Great food, great drinks, and love the pool and hotel room all in the same building. Our waiter was also a delight. Love the ambiance. Chill fun and chic!

Yelp
Great food and drinks! Valet is comped. Loved the mango drink and shrimp cocktail. The tacos were ok in my opinion. We also got the breakfast fried rice and that was delicious as well. Can't go wrong with truffle fries.

Yelp
We came in for Father's Day and had a great time with great food! We started with the cauliflower and calamari, I had a ZuZu Zinger to drink which was very good! Our secret Cru was awesome and made great suggestions and even let us take a peek in their private event space. I wish the vibe was a little more upbeat but it was a Sunday, we will for sure be back to at the very least have some drinks!

Yelp
Always a highlight! We stopped in to try the monthly ShowStopper Shake at Zuzu. If you haven't tried you'll definitely want to check for the monthly flavor and give them a try.

Yelp
I went here for lunch for my birthday with my sister. We arrived around 15 minutes early for our reservation because we decided to Uber at the last minute but we were still seated promptly. The staff at the front were nice and the decor is super cute. The waitress was nice and had a great sense of humor. What we ordered: special potato latke burger w/salad, garlic Parmesan fries, carne asada breakfast burrito, blackberry bourbon mule drink (cannot remember the name lol), the for u drink, and lemon pie. The burger and those garlic parmesan fries were the stars of the show! They were absolutely delicious and left me wishing I would have ordered the burger. The burrito was not hot and I didn't care for the red sauce on it. The steak, eggs, and tater tots inside were good though. It just felt underwhelming seasoned especially when compared to the bite of burger I had. It was a good size portion. Avocado is $2 extra but they give you a good amount and it was really great quality. I will say, I had half left over and warmed it up at home in the air fryer the next day and maybe it needed to sit and collect flavor or something because it was wayyyy better the following day reheated. The for u drink is delicious! The blackberry bourbon drink was just ok. I originally was going to get the showstopper shake but the waitress told me that it was kind of sweet and everything just tastes too sweet to me these days so I settled on the lemon pie. I was excited about the lemon pie because I LOVE lemon desserts but it was prettier than it tasted. It wasn't as tart as I thought it would be, it was more on the sweet side. The waitress was gracious enough to bring me ice cream to help balance it out, which is did so kudos to her! It's a cute little place inside of a hotel with good food. Can't beat that. I'd come back.

Yelp
Cute vibes but very average food and drinks. Presentation of food is gorgeous but lacking in flavor. If you are going to get anything get the sticky ribs.

Yelp
Always love the causal atmosphere of ZuZu. It's a chill spot to grab a casual bite with a friend or have a nice date night. I've enjoyed both brunch and dinner when dining here. Brunch portions were a good size and yummy. I usually enjoy some of the casuals with my dinner entree. Enjoyed the Truffled House Buns this time, but would probably get something else in the future. They were good, but nothing extra special. The Caesar Salad is always consistent and the salmon addition was better than I expected! My friend was a bit pickier opting for a plain burger, but was cooked well and enjoyable. Really enjoyed the December show stopper. Dressed up on the outside and delicious inside. A great spot to visit if you've never been!

Yelp
My bf and I come here pretty often, we love the vibe of the place and also you get free valet if the hostess validates your ticket so that's nice. Most times I've come for breakfast, their sausage and slab bacon are always amazing. I always switch up what I get. I really love their pancakes and hot syrup, their chicken and waffles are so ridiculously huge, you should share that with someone, I wasn't a big fan of the breakfast fried rice but I felt healthy after eating it, I always like their home style potatoes too. I came here for dinner once when they had live music and it was such a good time! I ordered the lobster Mac n cheese- SO creamy! My bf got the Argentinian steak, it looked like such an upscale dish and he loved it. We shared their Argentinian milkshake, it was really good but I didn't know it had so much coffee in it, it kept me up all night lol. I love that they added homemade desserts to it like macarons, some type of chocolate crumbly cake, some type of crunchy chocolate wafer and a chunky slice of cheesecake.

Yelp
Valley Ho has a restaurant called ZuZu so we made reservations at 6 pm. We were seated but we were the only ones there and we started getting a little scared but , the flashback to the 60s decor was really cool . The staff were very friendly and polite and we ordered a couple dirty martini's. After looking over the menu there there was an item called "Chef Roulette", and it comes with 5 courses, but the kicker is you don't know is what they are.. The chef chooses the courses and the items are not on the menu!!! So we gambled, and the gamble payed off.. Started with steak and tuna tar tar covered in a clear glass filled with mesquite smoke, it was really good but the star was the Sazerac shot that paired perfectly with it. Everything they brought out was delicious and we were surprised and savored every bite. The best dishes was a filet that sat on a blue cheese fondue sauce with asparagus tips. The desert was really creative with a house made inside out marshmallow encrusted with gram cracker and surprise scoop of ice cream in the middle. You toast the marshmallow over a small flame, it was delicious! The chef came out and greeted us, and I have to tell you it was one of the best meals I've ever had in my life... The price was on the high end, but it's one in a lifetime experience, and I highly recommend it!
