'ZZA Pizza + Salad

Just stopped by for the 1st time, since it has high-ranking reviews. It was great! The crust is great, and lots of topping options. Beer, wine, other drinks available. The employee turned me onto trying a pizza i would have never thought i would like, and it was great!!!!!!! Small neighbor pizzeria. At least 8 people eating the entire time I was there. So must be a local favorite. I gave atmosphere a 3 srar only because its a neighborhood pizza place, nothing fancy inside, but that doesn't matter to be because it was extremely clean, tvs on with funny videos playing... I'll for sure go back....as I can eat my weight in some good pizza!

I’m from the Chicago area and am particular about my pizza, and this place is the bomb! I love the unique personal pizza style they have going on. It’s plenty to satisfy a good appetite, and the prices are totally reasonable. The crust is great, and my wife’s gluten free version was one of the best I’ve had. Not to mention the sauce, cheese, and toppings are all top notch. We had the “Postrio”, a BBQ chicken style, and the seasonal “Pineapple Express”, a spicy-sweet-savory delight, which I hope they make a part of their core menu! Whenever we are in the area I’m going to be thinking of this. Check this place out. They have a good thing going on and they deserve to thrive!

We had the Sweet Heat pizza with a bottle of Rose wine. The pizza was flatbread style and completely amazing! The wine was cold and complimentary to the pizza and came with a cold glass! So good we had to get a Margarita pizza to go! 4 stars to the atmosphere just because it's a strip center but very clean and nice! Friendly staff, great food and good wine! What are you waiting for?

We were out and needed a quick bite. Initially we looked in the area for another one of our favorite pizza places, but didn't find it. 'ZZA popped up in our search, they had gluten-free options so we have it a shot. The staff was friendly with great smiles. The store looked clean, but notice I gave "atmosphere" only 4 stars. That's because it was just a bit boring, not bad, just uninteresting. That works out fine however since we were taking our pizza to go. I ended up with the GF Thai Dye and LOVED IT. My wife had the Margherita on the regular crust and she was quite pleased too. Overall I do feel like this pizza joint deserves some love.

Stopped in for some pizza after a long weekend camping with 5 little boys. This is exactly what we needed. They all devoured 4 whole pizzas is was so good! Will definitely be back when we are in this part of Texas. Thanks ZZA Pizza for a great and tasty lunch!

Pizza here is really good – I like that it’s made in an oval shape, not the usual round. We had a small issue with an online discount not applying, but the staff quickly checked the order and explained that the amount would be refunded to my card. Friendly service, good food.

First off, the pizza itself is fantastic. The crust was perfectly cooked in the best way. The ingredients were fresh and quality, with a great crispy edge and deliciously thin and crisp; the sauce was flavorful and You can really taste the freshness and quality of the toppings. What really sets ZZa apart is their creativity. They have some seriously unique and inventive pizzas on the menu that you just don't find anywhere else. We had the BBQ Chicken Pizza, Postrio Pizza, and a Caesar Salad, and wow--everything was amazing! The BBQ Chicken Pizza had the perfect mix of smoky, sweet, and cheesy goodness, while the Postrio Pizza was packed with bold flavors and a crispy, chewy crust. The Caesar Salad was fresh, crisp, and just the right amount of creamy. My boyfriend and I both loved every bite--definitely one of the best pizza nights we've had in a while!

Just had food from here delivered from uber. The Cobb salad is the bomb!! Wish it was colder. And the flat bread margharita pizza was cold and too chewy to eat but the sauce was so delicious. It was too long of a delivery so may not order again. I used uber.

Super tasty pizza. The place wasn't super busy and the guy who prepared our pizzas was super cool. We ordered the BBQ pizza, plus a few other build your own pies. Oh, my salad was super fresh and I loved my avocado on top!! Thank you for an awesome experience!

When we first walked in; my nose twitched when i smelled the magnificent spell of PIZZA!!! The service was very quick, but i'm on the bigger side and i had not eaten in a HOLE hour. I LOVED IT; the pizza was the best thing i had ever done and the taste brought me back it my childhood memories. It was very clean and the music was amazing. Thank ya ZZA

The pizza was super tasty; the best gluten-free crust I've ever had! I ordered online and picked my pizza with 15 min. I definitely recommend this place.

Randomly got take out pizza from this strip mall after doing a hike nearby - and it was really good - both hot and later than night cold! (I ordered the Il Greco - vegetarian and very flavorful) I didn't know there was a "St. Louis" pizza style - it almost reminded me of the pizza al taglio you can get cut with scissors by the inch in Rome (here, you order your own entire pizza in the shape of an oblong oval).

Nicest teens in all of Austin work here. If their parents are reading this, they are prompt, very respectful, and the best service I've had in all of Austin. The Thai Dye pizza I got came out piping hot, with fresh veggie ingredients, (fresh cilantro) in a timely fashion. Really impressed with this hidden Austin gem. It's like Mod fast casual, but better. And you can't go wrong with the Simon and Garfunkel and Bob Dylan music. I'll be back! Thank you!

Always welcome new good dining options to the Spicewood area because quite frankly, choices are few or mediocre. With the mantra of "Never Settle" with a mission statement including, "We believe your pizzas and salads should be equally delightful and made with the freshest of ingredients and interesting flavor combinations", really delivered at least for the two pizzas I ordered. Firstly, these pizzas are rectangle about 15-16" in length and about 4-5" wide. Perfectly seasoned baked crust and creative combo ingredients. The menu lists pizza selections expanding from BBQ, Thai, Greek, spicy Buffalo, to classics including lots of meat and quality sauce and cheese. In this case, order several as sharing is caring. The Postrio is the BBQ pizza with chicken with Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce, mozz, smoked gouda, red onion, cilantro. The Texas homer in me immediately called out their choice of a Chicago legacy's BBQ sauce company deep in the heart of Texas but with the mass migration of folks coming to Texas, there are some benefits in changing up the flavor profile of BBQ at least for pizza and nothing else. Not sure why it's compelling to brand it so be it. Back to the pizza. Plenty of chicken and balanced use of the other ingredients. Second was Pineapple Express was so good that I can't wait to have it again. Glazed pineapple, jalapeño, ham, green chili aioli, crispy garlic tops this pie. Notably, the ham is slightly thicker than the cheap versions used any where else. Again, nicely executed especially the spice bright green drizzle. Recommend. Next would be to try salads and that Thai Dye pizza. It's a small place but certainly recommend to go if you're interested in a quick dinner. They deliver quality and acceptable prices. So we were looking pizza uo to eat and were in a different part of the neighborhood and came across this gem. Zza is a place to get good pizza that has an authentic taste. If you like thin crust and good pizza come here. Staff super friendly place really clean only $13 for a good sized pizza. Definelty will Come back!

Don't even think about asking the owner for a side of " Ranch" because you don't need it! Lol The sauce is so good and the pizza is bomb ! I absolutely crave this delicious pizza and will drive across town just to go get it! Yum! And, it's a bad habit to always have some ranch with my pizza so when I asked the owner he gave me a look ! ( lol I kept my head down of shame ) and he had told me I'll go ahead and give you some but your not gonna need it with my pizza ! And, sure enough I returned the ranch and he was so right! 100% The staff is super cool and the place is clean and the pizza is soooooooooo good! They play some nice reggae music! And, I love the bathroom sign . " Everybody " Enough said. 5 stars all the way just writing this review makes me want to go get a pizza !

I ordered for delivery through DoorDash. The Postrio (bbq chicken) pizza was as good as CPK but not noticeably different and definitely not exceptional. The Pan' Zzanella salad was awful- it was wilted and so salty that I couldn't eat it. I suspect that the salt destroyed the lettuce and sucked the moisture out of the fresh mozzarella so it had a rubbery consistency. Portion sizes were reasonable and prices competitive had the salad been any good. I might come again to try another pizza and a completely different salad but only for convenience if I'm nearby.

Delicious, light and crispy pizza. Amazing cheese bread and fresh salad. All around great value and quality food!!! Service from whom we think was the owner was amazing! He saw my son whom is on the spectrum was having a hard time with different shape of the pizza and called her aside to speak to him. Not sure what he said but my picky boy tried and ate his pizza, he then brought us some amazing cheese bread to see if he would enjoy it too. Amazing experience. Thank you !!! We will return

I just ate here for the first time. I got the pepperoni pizza and it was very good. It's about he right size for 1 person. The flavor of the cheese and bread and sauce was exceptional. It is very thin crust, which makes it come out fast. I also got the cinnamon stick dessert and it was very good. It's kind of like a pizza burrito. The service was great and very friendly. We will definitely be back.

We came after driving around looking at Christmas lights. Felt a little hungry and wanted something quick, but not fast food. Stopped at this pizza place, and found out that it was the right decision. The pizza was delicious and it was quick. Normally I'm not a thin crust, but this really was one of the best pizzas. Fresh ingredients like mushrooms and cherry tomatoes and basil. Cheesy and yummy. It was plenty for 2 people to share. The crust even though thin, wasn't like hard and crunchy, it still was soft. Very good pizza. I'll have to come back when I'm in the area again.

Stopped in and was impressed by the ambiance and lovely smell of fresh pizza. The owner was very welcoming and the pizza I got was delicious! Much to his chagrin I asked for ranch dressing , because ranch makes everything better and their ranch was top notch too! Light and fresh pizza. I will be back again!

Honestly the best salads in the Hillcountry and they come with protein and are well priced. The pizzas also have really interesting flavors and sit upon a perfect crust that leaves you full but not feeling greased. Lastly, the kindness of the workers/owners is appreciated. Will be our new go-to, don't sleep on this place.

We came for dinner and had a great experience. The pizza and salad were fresh and flavorful. The pizza was crisp and had fresh toppings, the salad had the perfect amount of dressing. We will be back because the food was great but also because of the customer service. When we came in there were two brothers working and they did a really great job! It was nice to see them basically running the restaurant on their own. They did a phenomenal job!

Crispy edges, thin crust rectangle personal size! About 8 slices that are square cut, the flavors are fun and different. Loved the Thai spice pizza and the Cesar salad!! Super friendly sweet staff. Cold beer, topochico or a other beverages are available. My kids approved!! Will definitely stop by again.

We swung by for lunch based on the reviews and it's was all delicious!! We got the BBQ Chicken pizza and a meat pizza, both were really super good. It's hard to find a super good BBQ Chicken pizza but they have nailed it. I also got a poke bowl to take home for dinner and it was awesome too. I appreciate it was made with healthy greens vs all rice. I'm not a salad person but their salads look good enough that I'm going to try one next time as well. Also, I loved the fact that the pizzas are thin crust because when I got full I didn't feel heavy or dragged down, which can happen a lot with pizza. We will definitely be coming back for more. The gentlemen who helped us was also super nice and checked in with us a couple of times!! :) And on a side note, I reheated the leftover pizza the next day in a pan set to low with the lid on and it was so freaking good. That's hands down the best way to reheat thin crust pizza.

Wonderful offerings and amazing staff. The salad was so fresh and crunchy, and the arugula on my pizza wasn't at all wilted. The quality control is so lovely! I was out of town and decided to take a minute to sit down for a bite. So glad I did! I'll definitely be by again if I'm in this neck of the woods again.

Been here many times. Always good food and cheerful service. And did I mention the beer and wine selection. More expansive than many local restaurants. You really got to swing by and see for yourself.

Ordered through DoorDash and our Cesar Salad was missing. The Berry salad was soggy and wilted and did not have the chicken that we ordered. The pizza itself was good. We called to see if we could please come pick up our missing salad and the person was very rude and refused. He blamed the issue on DoorDash but I highly doubt our driver went through our salad and picked out all the chicken lol. Wont order from here again.

I love ZZA Pizza on Hwy 71. I started getting takeout during Covid and still grab a salad or pizza regularly. The salads are fresh and tasty and large and the their flatbread pizzas are unique and delicious. The crust is light and crispy and the toppings fresh and not overdone. Try ZZA if you haven't already!

I have ordered from ZZA at least two dozen times. Their pizzas are consistent, the owner is incredibly friendly, the orders are ready on time, and they have ingredients that you don't traditionally see at typical chains. Their sauce is amazing! The restaurant itself is great for families or just a quick lunch.

The pizza was delicious and the service was excellent. I can't wait to go back to try another menu item - it was hard to decide which pizza I wanted. Will split it next time!

The pizza is 5 star, especially for the price ($10-11 flatbreads). I ordered a meat combo pizza and cheese bread. The crust is tasty and fairly thin. The ingredients are good and unexpectedly, the sauce is one of the best parts--very rich in tomato flavor. The only reason this review isn't 5 stars is because the $7 cheese bread was just 4 pieces of crust, rolled up with some cheese inside. Avoid ordering the cheese bread.

High expectations after reading the reviews! Not so impressed. I would give the pizza 1 star. We ordered crispy and extra sauce like we always had growing up in Texas but no no one seems capable of that. The crust was sogggy, not crispy at all. The dough is like a real thin tortilla or something-just strange tasting. The sauce has a strange sweet/tang flavor like a bottle marinara with alcohol added. We didn't care for that at all. The salad I would give a 31/2-4 star. We mixed our own with all the greens and an egg and jicama with ginger dressing. The big salad could use two eggs and not just one small one for the price. But the main draw in a pizza joint is the pizza. I would not come back for the pizza but might pick up a salad if I am in the area. When average the rating, I get 2.5 but there are halfsies on Yelp so I average down since it is a pizza restaurant and the pizza was not good, but is expensive. For $30.00 I need pizza I can eat and a good salad.

Driving thru Bee Caves, found this place by chance. Not disappointed by the pizza, extremely good. meat'zza and Postrio was what we eat. Customer service was great. Pizza came out hot and fresh.

Awesome pizza. We have had three different pizzas: Chicken bbq, Pepperoni and the Kale pizza. All have tasted awesome! The service has been great. The pizzas are small but full of flavor.

I was looking for a new place to eat decided to try out this new pizza salad location and I can't say enough positive things about this place. The gentleman who took my order and help me decide what pizza would suit my craving was stellar. The beverages that they offer bottled canned and on tap was a good selection the pineapple pizza was sweet and spicy not overwhelming in flavors everything paired perfectly fine together with the garlic mozzarella cheesy bread was phenomenal I highly recommend this location to anybody who needs a fair priced meal that's for filling and will leave your taste buds partying for more

Really nice pizza. Thin crust, fresh and flavor some. Good location, right next to UPS Store. Salad was fine, think they could get more ambitious tho and less on the greens more on the variety in the poke bowl. Tasted fine though

I'm a frequent visitor to Austin, and eat here at least once each visit. Up to now, I've had their terrific salads. Due to illness, I required lots of protein. They made me a bowl of chicken & egg, which was sooooo helpful. Today I had the pepperoni pizza. It was perfection. The crust was crunchy. The sauce was just right, not too spicy or bland. The pizzas are a good price, and will take care of one big eater or two lesser appetites. I'm so happy ZZa is here. Thanks, Zza. I'll always be back.

Pizza was thin crust so good from that angle but extremely oily and very little cheese...I had ordered two different pizzas and the vegetarian one was very salty as well. The avo salad lacked any flavor at all... it tasted like Mayo had been used as the dressing... really fatty taste on the fresh veggies and no taste ie what I expect from a good light dressing. I had added chicken for a fee onto the other salad and at first I was going to complain that they missed adding it while still charging for it. Then I noticed some of the 1.5 cm cubes of mozzarella were actually cubes of chicken. There were probably 5 cubes of chicken for the fee I was charged. How about adding hot grilled chicken in its original form on top of the salad so we can see it instead of 5 cubes of chicken. There is a lot of potential here but I will not be ordering again.
