An exceptional hidden gem for fresh seafood lovers. Every dish is crafted with precision and care, from beautifully sliced sashimi to perfectly grilled seasonal fish. The quality rivals top-tier Tokyo establishments but in a more relaxed, intimate setting. Service is warm and attentive, and the chef clearly takes pride in showcasing the best of Japan’s coastal ingredients. The tuna course was well-balanced, offering generous portions and excellent value. Highly recommended for those who appreciate authentic, high-quality Japanese seafood without the pretension.

Many options were sold out but there was no wait at 1:25 on a Friday afternoon. I was the last customer served during their lunch service. Ordered a fatty tuna don that had finely chopped tuna underneath. This bowl was so good. The tuna cuts were thick and incredibly fatty. It had three types of fatty tuna (I think medium fatty and two different really fatty cuts) and some regular tuna. It was all amazing. The really fatty pieces just dissolve. If you like tuna, this place is a must!

This is undoubtedly one of the best sushi restaurants I visited during my trip to Tokyo. The seafood don I had was absolutely amazing, with all the seafood being incredibly fresh—except for the abalone, which had a nice crunchy texture but was too mild in flavor. Overall, the quality was exceptional, and I’d gladly eat here again before leaving. I’ll definitely return on my next trip to Tokyo and recommend it to friends. The only downside is that the cleanliness of the environment could be improved.

Had dinner here, we ordered a Hokkaido omakase set and Uni ikura set. The Uni have a special fragrance, kind of reminds me of flower smell, not sure if this is normal but the meat is still sweet and creamy. The ikura is superb very salty and yummy with the rice. The prawn is very fresh crunchy and sweet. The only complaint I have is the abalone that comes with the omakase set, it’s too crunchy at the point I feel like I am eating soft bones. Lastly, I went to this shop without reservation, needed to wait around 20 minutes.

Arrived at 8pm on Friday, there is just no need to queue, the menu is relatively simple, there are not too many side dishes to choose from. Two meals were ordered and miso soup was provided. Sea urchins are super abundant and sweet, and the other seafood is also very fresh, and those who like to eat sashimi must come! The attitude of the boss is also very friendly and highly recommended

Food was great and probably good value depends on where you come from, we ordered the tuna bowl and the sea urchin & tuna bowl. Very fresh ingredients and good taste. Very large size so quite fulfilling. Most of the customers who ordered the bowl were foreigners as the owner simply didn’t give you other menu. We wanted to order other things but we didn’t have the choice. Good restaurant if you want to taste the bowl.

Probably one of the best meal during the Tokyo’s trip. Local restaurant near Akihabara station- served fresh Kaisendon. The chutoro and otoro were outstanding, featuring beautifully marbled fat that melted in the mouth. The chutoro kaisendon was a standout, with the perfect balance of rich flavors and delicate textures. The generous portions offered incredible value. Also ordered catch of the day sashimi. These were incredibly fresh and thickly sliced. It was truly a memorable dining experience. Lovely services also.

Place is an extremely whole in the wall area with the most enthusiastic chef ever. It’s a cash only place, so be ready with the bills. It’s a small place that can at max hold 20 - 25 by standers. Every participant has to order one bowl. It’s an ever changing menu that’s written on a white board. Everything was extremely fresh and flavorful. The salmon roe was almost a gold mine above rice. Each bite was a burst of salty briney goodness and pairs well with rice. The sea urchin and toro bowl was amazing. Honestly the most sea urchin I’ve ever seen in my life. The toro and sea urchin are extremely rich and just pack so much flavor. The sleeper on is they miso soup they served on the side. It’s pack full of mini clams and pairs each bowl perfectly. Can’t miss place.
