Our favourite kaiseki so far! The food is super good. Very comfy and relax place. Our favourite is the crab menu and the fish liver soup. Sake also nice. Still, we dont like that the pace of eating is quite fast. But overall recommended anyone who wants to have quite a quality kaiseki meal, with 2 michelin stars.

I chose this kaiseki restaurant as the final stop of my Osaka trip — a place so rarely mentioned on Chinese social media that I could find only three posts across all platforms. The chef and servers speak limited English, but they use translation devices and make a genuine effort to communicate and explain each dish. Compared with other kaiseki meals on this trip, the flavours here are fuller and more rounded — overall more aligned with the palate of Chinese diners. The quality of ingredients and execution also match the price point. Another advantage is the flexible reservation system: guests may choose their own dining time rather than a fixed seating. Aka-uni with Corn Tofu ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Springy, slightly sticky corn tofu with natural sweetness, pairing perfectly with the rich sweetness of red uni. Gingko, Karasumi & Sticky Rice ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sticky rice with lotus-root paste gives a soft, moist texture. Gingko brings savoury bitterness; karasumi adds depth and salinity. Hairy Crab Shinjo with Winter Melon ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Soft, delicate crab shinjo that falls apart beautifully. Crab meat is sweet, tomalley is rich, and the clear broth carries gentle sweetness from winter melon. Meidai (Japanese Red Sea Bream) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Firm and crisp texture. The sweet–tart sauce slightly overshadows the fish but gives a refreshing overall profile. Conger Eel with Liver Sauce, Tea Beans & Roe ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Liver sauce provides mild bitterness; the roe is soft and creamy; the beans add an earthy aroma. Charcoal-Grilled Nodoguro ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Incredibly rich oil, deep umami, and a natural hint of sweetness. A thick cut of grilled nodoguro is always deeply satisfying. Palate Cleanser ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cold summer pickles — sweet–sour and refreshing. Fried Kuroge Wagyu ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thick yet exceptionally tender beef with abundant juices. A thin layer of fig sauce adds gentle sweetness; the base sauce contributes a touch of dairy richness. Kyoto Abalone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Firm and chewy with a broth made from its own cooking liquid and dashi. The combination of dry and fresh seaweed intensifies the ocean aroma. Sanma & Hyogo Rice Kamameshi ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Aromatic rice topped with crisp, fatty pacific saury, mixed with scallion, ginger and sesame. Rich, oily, and deeply flavorful. Peach Granita with Seasonal Jelly ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Strong peach aroma; the jelly carries a hint of citrus-forward liqueur. Total: ¥62,190 / 2 people Recommendation score: 8.7/10

Not recommended. This was the worst Michelin experience I’ve had across multiple countries. In the second course (crab salad), both my husband and I had to remove crab shell fragments from our mouths, and the chef ignored it entirely. When our disappointment was clear, the chef was dismissive and negligent, offering no explanation or attempt to make amends, and instead appeared dogmatic and inflexible. The restaurant was unprepared for our arrival, and the menu was only provided after several courses. The chef relies heavily on bitterness as a recurring element, but it was poorly executed and unpleasant. While one dish can be misunderstood, when the entire menu fails to communicate, the issue is not the diner. The rice course was overly fishy, excessively salty, and plain. This experience fell far below not only Michelin 2-star standards, but even those expected of a 1-star restaurant, which honestly made me question whether standards have been lowered or how this rating was awarded.

Great dining experience. You could enjoy the best Osaka style Japanese cuisine. Each Japanese dish beautifully presented and very nice tastes. Reservation required in Japanese or on web site. Staff really helpful and nice. Amazing value. Highly recommended.

四季折々の素材を楽しめる本当に素晴らしいお店です。 いつお邪魔させて頂いてもその時期の最高の食材で楽しませて頂けます‼︎ 大将もお弟子さんもとても愛想も良く楽しい時間を過ごさせて貰えました。 ここのお店で食べる土鍋ご飯がどのお店よりも美味しいです(୨୧ ❛ᴗ❛)✧ 私至上最高のご飯です。お米なのか炊き方なのかよく分かりませんが本当に美味しいので是非皆さんに食べて欲しいです(笑)機会が有りましたら是非お勧め致します。

小綺麗な店内と程よい照明で落ち着いて食事が出来ます。料理はどれも見た目の美しさもさることながら、季節の食材を巧みに使って美味しく仕上げてくれます。1品1品出されるタイミングも絶妙でテンポよく食べれます。 料理の説明もわかりやすく丁寧で、見て聞いて味わってと堪能出来ます。本日はデザートを含めて10品出されましたが、お腹一杯になりました。たまに気難しそうな料理人も居ますが、ここのご主人はにこやかで清潔感に溢れていて安心してお任せ出来ます。 頻繁に来れるお店ではないかもしれませんが、たまに贅沢な懐石を頂くには最適なお店かと思います。カウンター7席と奥に4人テーブルの個人があります。

2025年度ミシュランで2つ星に昇格。 幽玄と同様に何故?という衝撃が大阪中を巡りました。 やはり味の方は、、印象に残る料理はありません。コスパも悪すぎて(20%くらい?) 元々満席になる日も多くはなかったようですが、星2つになってからは急激にコース料金を上げ、外人専用のお店に。
