If you're craving some killer gyros this food truck dishes out mouthwatering beef and lamb gyros that are tough to beat. The beef gyro is packed with juicy, perfectly seasoned beef, fresh veggies, and a tangy homemade tzatziki sauce, all wrapped in a soft, warm pita. Each bite is a flavor explosion. The lamb gyro is just as awesome. Tender lamb, crispy on the outside, pairs perfectly with tangy feta and a hint of lemon, all snugly wrapped in a charred pita that holds everything together.

Had the super lamb gyro. Loved it, great seasoning, meat wasn't dried out like some places I've tried, fresh vegetables. Apparently, this guy has been in same spot for 22 years. Wish I was a local so I could come here more often.

Walking about Downtown Portland, stumbled upon an area of a Food Carts, which after looking them all over, settled for some Greek gyros. Taste of Greek owner was super friendly, and expressed his Gyros were among the best in the world! And of course, we thought he was exaggerating… We ordered 2 lamb gyros, which he assembled after we ordered, stuffed full of lamb and fresh veggies. The lamb gyros were delicious, which had ingredients filled the entire pita. The lamb was prepared with a nice spice and was tender and hot for the entire gyro. Definitely, the best gyro we have had in our travels! Special note, one of our group wasn’t hungry, but was provided a free sample of gyro meat, and a freshly prepared chicken and rice sample, which was delicious also, and was very tempting to change one of our orders. Overall, we would return to the Taste of Greek, great service and delicious food. Hint for visit: In the mood for a gyro…don’t get swayed by other food carts, head right over!

Best gyro I had so far! I come from Europe and know good Greek food, this was pretty delicious. $10 was a bit more price than in WA state, but is was worth it. I wasn’t a too big fan of the fries, would like to have more tzatziki, but other than that food gyro with beef was bomb! The owner was really nice and helped us out.

Amazing, smart taste. Today I had one of the best chicken and lamb Gyro ever. The taste of Greek is really tasty. I highly recommend this cart. And the owner is hilarious, he made me laugh all the time with his humorous spirit. Come here and I promise you will get hooked.

Amazing gyros, the lamb was seasoned perfectly and overall it was incredible, attention is great, the falafel could be a tad crispier but that's a matter of personal preference, it was just really really good. If you're in Portland, come here, it's very reasonably priced.

Best greek cart in town, hands down. High quality, delicious food. The plates are the best bang for your buck! I asked to substitute falafel for the protein and tzatziki instead of hummus. This was my first time getting the falafel, so so yummy. His chicken is also great. Everything is well seasoned and full of flavor.
