"Trip downstairs to this basement den, where facsimile Japanese street food from several regions is happening. This is a mecca for Japanese expats who want a taste of stir fried ramen and soba, fried rice, soups both Japanese and Chinese, dumplings, fried chicken, and the somewhat strange ramen rice. Okonomiyaki is another specialty, a sort of eclectic crepe filled with noodles and covered in squirted sauces. My favorite is the Hiroshima-yaki, which incorporates tempura crisps and red pickled ginger, with a half-dozen main ingredient choices ($17.95)." - sietsma
