"An award-winning Lower East Side bar that began as a 2017 pop-up and moved into a permanent Allen Street location in 2020, helmed by co-founders GN Chan and Faye Chen. It operates as two distinct concepts — a fast-paced, first-come Front Room with industrial design, a hip-hop soundtrack and all drinks served on tap featuring classic cocktails with seasonal twists (for example, an Aperol spritz with passion fruit), and a reservation-only Back Room with cozy mid-century décor, lounge music and a menu that recreates nostalgic dishes as cocktails using a 'hacking design' approach. Back Room cocktails have included drinks inspired by Japanese cold noodle (Bacardi Superior, pineapple, cucumber, coconut, lime, sesame oil), Waldorf salad (Dewar’s 15-year, Laphroaig 10-year, apple, celery, ginger ale, walnut bitters) and cold pizza (Don Fulano Blanco, Parmigiano Reggiano, burnt toast, tomato, basil, honey, egg whites).
