"Reopened on November 14, 2024 after nearly five years closed since March 2020, the property returned following significant hotel-wide investments and a resolved ownership dispute. It offers 219 accommodations—including 138 junior suites, 59 standard suites and 5 signature suites—with rooms and suites that feature skyline or Central Park views and range from about 500 sq ft to 4,300 sq ft; the Ty Warner Penthouse on the 52nd floor remains part of the hotel’s offerings. Housed in an I.M. Pei–designed 52-story tower noted for its block-wide expanse and setback silhouette, the hotel centers on a striking art deco lobby with honey marble floors and columns, a 33-foot-high glass ceiling and sculptural fresh florals.
