"You have to know what you're looking for to find Allegory, which is tucked behind a nondescript black door in the lobby library of Eaton D.C ., downtown's hippest new hotel. Once you've made it into the intimate, moody space, grab a stool at the wooden semi-circular bar or take a seat at one of the sexy leather couches. Black pendant lights barely illuminate the room, but you can still see the incredibly detailed murals of mythical creatures by artist Erik Thor-Sandberg.
