"Harlem is one of my favorite neighborhoods because I have family living here and for what it represents in terms of intellectual thought. The Schomburg is a library and events hub. The first time I went, Spike Lee was in the front row. There’s a bookstore too, and I keep buying books, particularly vintage ones; you should see the amount I walk away with every time. I adore the smell of the old paper. If someone wants to make that a perfume, I may be their only customer, but I’ll be a diligent one."
