"Set close to the boisterous Temple Bar area, the intimate space draws couples, business lunches, visiting tourists (particularly for the early bird specials), and larger groups. But it's the weekend brunch everyone drops in for—San Lorenzo’s is home to a buzzing, lively brunch every weekend. Scores of devotees crowd in for what they call the Brunch of Champions, in a room humming with quick-fire conversation and booming music. Go luxe with the lobster Benedict, but be sure to leave room for their cult dessert, Nutella cheesecake. The thickly decadent hunk of cake comes with wholly unnecessary (but welcome) salted-caramel-and-chocolate-brownie ice cream. Brick walls, burnt orange banquettes, patterned floors, and pops of industrial steel accents set the perfect stage for San Lorenzo’s “modern Italian with a New York twist” style and menus." - Sandra Ramani
