The Best Korean Food in New York City | Condé Nast Traveler

"Whenever I make the trip to stock up at Union H Mart in Flushing I build in time for lunch here: Gahwa specializes in seolleongtang, a rich, milky oxtail-bone broth that comes unseasoned so you can garnish to taste with scallions, salt, and pepper; I like dunking rice into the soup and pairing it with crunchy kkakdugi (spicy radish kimchi), and if I want other soup options the dogani tang (cow knee soup) and sokkori tang (oxtail soup) are excellent alternatives." - Irene Yoo
