"Kimpton is hands down the world’s most pet-friendly brand, and their Savannah property is a shining testament to the brand’s official policy of welcoming “any pet that can fit through the door”—fee-free. (The hotel has seen its fair share of adorable dogs and cats as well as plenty of unlikely guests including owls, llamas, penguins, and snakes.) While covering pet-friendly travel over the years, I’ve never seen a hotel more frequented by dogs and their owners; I personally am a repeat guest here with my dog, Camo. The budget-conscious downtown property is centrally located and features all the trappings we’ve come to know and love from pet-friendly Kimpton. Think complimentary morning coffee and an evening wine hour in the lobby, which pets can attend; complimentary access to Wag!
