14 Best Bars in Vancouver | Condé Nast Traveler

"Salt Tasting Room, located in Gastown’s slightly suspect Blood Alley (which sounds worse than it is), is marked by a black banner featuring a stylized salt shaker. As you get closer, you’ll discover a well-lit, modern, narrow room with concrete floors, exposed brick walls, and floor-to-ceiling windows. As one of the first local wine bars to push charcuterie front and center, the place quickly developed a dedicated following. Although it may not pull a regular crowd night after night, Salt has managed to become a favorite among locals." - Guy Saddy
