Where to Watch July 4th Fireworks in San Francisco | Condé Nast Traveler

"Since 1979, the San Francisco July 4th fireworks celebrations have been focused on Pier 39. This year, the festivities kick off there at 3 p.m., with music (local cover band Mustache Harbor will be playing yacht rock favorites until 6 p.m.) and beer, before the fireworks ceremony begins at 9:30 p.m."
