The Minds Behind a Popular Houston Food Truck Will Open a Thai Cafe in Garden Oaks - Eater Houston
"Souli Phaduangdet, owner of stalwart Thai-Mexican fusion food truck Pho-jita, is opening a standalone restaurant in Oak Forest in the near future, according to the Leader. Sa Lao Thai Cafe, at 5013 N. Shepherd Drive, will focus on Thai and Lao food. Phaduangdet told the Leader that the future of the food truck, which she opened nearly a decade ago, is uncertain while she and husband John Tapia focus on opening the restaurant.
