"I learned that the Grant Park Tin Lizzy’s Cantina on Memorial Drive has permanently closed: Google now lists the Memorial Drive location as “permanently closed,” equipment was photographed being removed, and ownership confirmed the closure to Eater after the restaurant’s last day on Memorial Drive was Sunday, November 12. The owners said they could not reach an agreement on the lease for this now-prime real estate and expressed gratitude for 14 years of neighborhood support, adding that all dedicated employees will have the opportunity to work at other Tin Lizzy’s locations. The Grant Park spot had taken over the original Six Feet Under space in 2009 and featured a popular rooftop patio with views of historic Oakland Cemetery; the chain is known for soft tacos, taco bowls, quesadillas and margaritas." - Beth McKibben
