Kimberly B. was so nice and attentive! She checked on us the whole time and gave great recommendations. The food was flavorful and the drinks were delicious. The Queso Chicken taco was yummy, and the nachos were great too—though I’d suggest adding a bit more queso on top. The place was clean and modern. Definitely recommend!

Google
I'm only here for a few days and if I had known about this place I would have been eating here everyday. I was placing an offer for take out and the bartender was super attentive, quick, and very pleasant. Food came out expeditiously but without seeming like it had been sitting there under a heat lamp. I got the buffalo tacos and The Big Greek. Both were outstanding!!! I'll go out of my way next time I'm in Atlanta to come here. The tacos 🤌🏼🤌🏼!!

Google
Food was amazing! Service was 👎. Menu selection was great and everything we ordered was amazing. My short ribs birria are pictured and along with the seasoned tortilla trips. My 6 year old spilled her drink and our waitress couldn’t have ran away faster. My husband and I cleaned it up with paper towels from the bathroom. Didn’t see her again until food was served.

Google
There’s a good variety of tacos to be had but unfortunately not all are amazing. Breaded pickles this round was crispy, but is inconsistent in previous visits. Buffalo shrimp was drowned in sauce and felt like a mush orchestra. Avoid the short rib, skimpy on the meat and unsatisfying. Buffalo chicken taco was decent, as well as regular crispy chicken. Crispy fish was dry and tough, almost jerky like. Classic steak was surprisingly good.

Google
Fantastic Food! Drinks were fantastic also to top off the night. Atmosphere was fantastic and service was above average all the way.

Google
I have my faves....the Greek, the Philly, the Low Country Boil ...but they are all delicious. Also tried the Baja Fish and it was tasty! I was really impressed by the Birria tacos. Came with dipping sauce and queso.

Malik was a fabulous server. So helpful and polite. Had the TL nachos and the lunch tray special with the Korean BBQ tacos. So yummy. Definitely recommend

Google
Food was good and fast. Everything is well priced. The only problem we had was the service. There were probably about 3 tables dining in and it still took them forever to get the bills, paid $5 for a drink and no refills were offered, and doesn’t accept cash.

Yelp
Went to this place for dinner in Atlanta and was actually pretty good! Location is 10/10 in rhe heart of downtown Atlanta. Service was good, but the restaurant was packed so I highly recommend making a reservation if you can. Food is not your traditional Mexican food, but its unique and good. Prices are really reasonable for both food and drinks!

Yelp
This place in downtown was a last resort for this out of towner. The original place I was looking to go to was closed leading me to this as a backup to walking further. The place was not busy at lunchtime and the staff were quick to accommodate me although the food was just ok. The patrons adjacent may have also been a distraction as some guy kept talking to his girlfriend about another girl and how much money he had which appeared to be an exaggeration from my point of view. So the ambiance here could have been off that day however I don't think I plan to return here unless it is a last resort once again.

Yelp
Expansive, modern American decor with okay food and fine service. Came here with a large party (12) and was able to get seated within 10-15 minutes. They also had an online payment system accessible via QR that allowed individual diners from a party self-select and pay for their items -- super useful for my large party. For the table: - Fried jalapeños, chicken nachos -- both came in massive portions, the latter of which was generously loaded with toppings and the former of which were surprisingly very good -- all at a reasonable price. Entree: - 3 tacos: the Greek, the executive, and the mahi mahi. Perhaps I was exploring a bit too far, but the Greek taco had a sauce whose sourish flavor overwhelmed the taco. The mahi mahi was fine -- fish well fried but overall far from the best one I've had. Executive was most redeeming. Heavy pour on the margarita.

Yelp
Came here on a whim and I'm going to be honest our expectations weren't very high. But when I tell you it was a magnificent meal I mean it! We ordered the skinny margarita which essentially is a Cadillac margarita but with fresh squeezed juices. Absolutely delicious and the alcohol to mixer ratio was perfect! To eat we shared the nachos with ground beef and they were so bomb!!! The queso was so good I could drink it lol.
google avatar

Katie M.

Yelp
We came here on a whim because we needed dinner and this place is within walking distance of our hotel. The atmosphere in the restaurant is bar/hang out place. We were sat back towards the bar.. your staff member shay is amazing! Working the bar and tables without making it look like a chore. She had a lot of tables too. She's wonderful, friendly and welcoming. Answered all our questions and our drinks were never empty. She makes a killer margarita too. The food is amazing Tex Mex spin on Mexican. We were able to mix and match tacos so we could try everything we wanted.. honestly I wish I had more room in my stomach because I was tempted to buy them all. It was a wonderful meal and your employee Shay was what made the night. When we come back we will definitely stop here again.

Yelp
Very chill vibe. Definitely noisy so be prepared for that. Their taco menu is extensive with even a gyro taco (wasn't a favorite from what I heard). I ordered the mahi mahi taco and a side of the rice and beans. Both dishes were tasty and as expected. The taco is pretty large in size and filled to the brim so yes it is messy to eat! The rice and beans were pretty standard but felt so comforting. The staff made a couple of mistakes with our order and bill but they were swamped that day, so it was totally understandable.

Yelp
First review of 2024, so here goes: Overall, a little pricey for tacos (around $6 each) and not a great value. The chips and salsa were reasonably priced, but free would be even better. All tacos were good except for the Mahi, which we both could've sworn was chicken. Didn't love the Royale with Cheese, but the others were delicious. (Executive, Shrimp, and buffalo chicken.) Our waitress was nice and prompt taking our order and delivering the food. Nice modern interior with a wall of license plates and interesting signs all over. I saw there was an upstairs and a large bar area. Glad we stopped for some quick eats yesterday while walking around downtown.

Yelp
I order from here all the time, and for one reason only: the buffalo chicken nachos! They are by far my favorite food in Atlanta. They're just always made to perfection. I've had their bowls, tacos...all great, but the nachos...perfection! Service is always on point, no complaints!
google avatar

Missy L.

Yelp
Not coming back! Service at the bar was very uninviting. The Greek taco meat was dry.
google avatar

Arrielle S.

Yelp
This place was completely meh. The reviews were so mixed which made this confusing. The staff was nice but I got the impression they were annoyed I was there. The restaurant was empty and for a weekend with a conference on town it shouldn't have been. Ordered the chips and dips as a starter and the salsa was thin and really sweet and the guacamole was flavorless, but the queso and chips were good. The chips were thin and had a good seasoning on them. For my lunch entree I got a grilled fish taco and mahi mahi taco both were extremely underwhelming. The grilled fish taco had wayyyyy too much of the jalapeño mayo and it had pickled jalapeño on top instead of fresh and the taco itself was basic. The mahi mahi taco was overcooked. Wouldn't recommend this place. There are much better options in town.

Yelp
I love this place a usually I have great service however today it SUCKED!!!!!! I ordered, my food arrived and that was pretty much THE END..... My server never checked on us to see if our food was OK, I had to go and ask for water while she was sitting on her phone, and the shrimp in my skillet was OVERCOOKED. Thanks for a horrible experience.
google avatar

Kien H.

Yelp
I came in on afternoon work hours, because I had some free time, and I had a good experience. I didn't eat but I ordered drinks, and everything was pretty good. Ed took care of us. I got a mule and a couple of shots. Ed, the bartender for the day, was working with us and even while we were already drinking he was having good conversations (We actually had a couple things in common). The service was a really good sell for me. It wasn't crowded and it was before the after work rush so that gave the wait staff chances to personalize a service versus being inundated with happy hour people so I liked it because of the time that I went. Will I go back to this location, yes. You have to worry about parking so just keep that in mind, but once you get in there it's a very big space, the bar is long, and you shouldn't have any issues finding a seat.

Yelp
This place seems to have a good number of tables there. They were able to accommodate our walk in party of 3 pretty fast, even though there were a steady stream of people coming in for dinner on a weekday. Their drinks were pretty well priced, at around $11 per cocktail. They had a lot of different tacos on their menu to choose from- all creative ones such as korean bbq, impossible taco, cheeseburger taco, etc. I got the steak and mushrooms taco and the fried chicken taco. Both were super flavorful and with a lot of texture. The tortillas they use are flour tortillas, if that matters to you! Each taco is around $5. Service was good too.

Yelp
Great place for lunch to sit, eat some tacos, and watch the game. Service was good and I always appreciate when I can go to a clean place.

Yelp
This place was good. I was in town with some friends and we were meeting up with some other people at this location. We did have a party of about 10 people but our waiter was very friendly and understanding and he definitely earned a good tip. We were very appreciative of all of his efforts! We thoroughly enjoyed all of the good tacos for Taco Tuesday and the steak taco was definitely my favorite. It was one of the Happy Hour deals, I believe. We all really had a good time and we definitely come back for the food. The star went down though because there was a large party at the bar that was extremely loud and it made it even more difficult to have conversation. They all looked like they just jumped off of a yacht. So it was probably a work party. The sound carried over a lot so it kind of interrupted us a bit unfortunately. Other than now, nothing to complain about and we had a good time!
google avatar

Vilija T.

Yelp
Drink menu. Bartender in training tonight, margaritas coming slowly. Tuesday is Taco Tuesday, bonus!
google avatar

Devena S.

Yelp
Not going to mince words- service was not good. Coworkers went for happy hour and were delighted to be given a table for 10 before everyone got there. After being seated it was a full 15 minutes before the server asked any questions ... and that was AFTER complaining loudly that our full party hadn't yet arrived. Now mind you, happy hour is only so long and we were there to take full advantage of tacos and margarita pitchers , not to mention $5 guacamole but service was soooooo slowwww that we only got to order 4 pitchers and one full round of tacos and bowls (pictured). Food was ok. Music playing was sing-a-long-able. Personally not going to pick to return here but will come back if someone else insists.

Yelp
Came on a Tuesday night for dinner and it was a 30 minute wait. Popular place for sure! We decided to sit at the bar. Service was good, food and drinks came out fairly quickly despite how busy they were. I had the Buffalo chicken nachos. Those were really good. Heavy on the cilantro and blue cheese crumbles. But tasty none the less. Also had the steak and Philly taco but it tasted more like a fajita taco to be honest. It was tasty, but not what I was expecting. Still good as long as you know what you're going to get. Lastly my drink! Best part, I had a strawberry margarita on the rocks and it was the best I have had. Highly recommend for sure!!
google avatar

R A.

Yelp
Ate here on a Tuesday night and sat at the bar. Was never told about 'taco tuesday' deals by the bartender and paid full price for my tacos. Service was extremely slow and my tacos cane out before my rice and beans which made no sense. Tacos themselves were great! When I asked for my check, the bartender asked me what I had ordered and had lost my ticket.. again, made no sense since everything is electronic. Ended up waiting an additional 15 minutes for him to finally bring me my check. I left a 10% tip, probably won't be back due to service.

Yelp
Fun and lively Mexican cantina located in the heart of downtown Atlanta and walking distance from several hotels for out of towners. The menu is expansive with a large variety of tacos and other Mexican delights. If you go the taco route I would recommend two or three tacos. You'll be satisfied with two but then the flavor is so good you'll crave one more. We sat at the bar and from my vantage point the restaurant was steady but not unusually busy. We waited several minutes before even being acknowledged by the bar tender (also our server). Finally she came by and in passing asked what we wanted to drink as she kept walking. Not very warm and inviting. We ordered margaritas and water and said we'd order our food in a minute. The margaritas came out fairly promptly but no water. I had to ask three different servers to bring us some water. I ordered the Southern Comfort, Classic Steak and the Fried Chicken tacos. All three were fresh and flavorful and I don't think I could pick a favorite as I really enjoyed all three. But of course Fried Chicken...what's not to love. Overall the food was tasty and fresh but the service was very average. I didn't feel well cared for during our dining experience. The food was delivered by a food runner and our server (the bartender) never really checked back on us until our plates were empty. No drink refills or checking on the taste of our meal or anything.

Yelp
A few major issues here. First off, I ordered a lobster taco, which at $10 seemed a bit expensive but I was willing to try it. The taco was TINY...three bites and it was gone. Anyone with a larger mouth could have killed it in two. There was barely enough lobster in there to taste and it came with zero sides. Complete rip-off. Worse though was trying to pay for my meal. I was directed to the QR code to enter in my credit info. Instead, I was directed to a web page that asked for the CC info and PRE-CHECKED a box that said I would sign up to get some digital games at $40 per month. Of course I unchecked it and tried a few more time and kept getting to this weird site until I finally was able to pay the bill. Three days later my CC is hacked for, you guessed it, $40 for the digital game site which led to having to cancel the card and get a new one. You all know what a hassle that is. I will never return here.

Yelp
Great food. Service non existent, surprising because there were more servers than customers. Restaurant was filthy, tables left unclean, stuff on the ground. Are they bringing the streets of Atlanta inside? Get your food to go.
google avatar

Kate F.

Yelp
Very good tacos... very good service! Had a great mid-week happy hour evening of tacos and beer. This location is huge, with PLENTY of seating in booths or the bar area. The restaurant dining area and bathrooms are very clean. The waitress and all staff were amazing! This is a welcoming location ... compared to other TLs in Atlanta. We parked on Courtland... its free after a certain hour or $3 during regular hours. Much cheaper option than parking on Andrew Young and only a 3 minute walk over. Make it a taco Tuesday!

Anon Y.

Yelp
I really like their food. I really do. Came here for taco Tuesday one day and no I was not impressed... I was satisfied. Mainly because I got what I expected... good ole simple tacos. I liked the drinks. There's some like lemonade spiked drink and it wasn't overwhelming. The heaters outside help keep you warm whenever it's cold out. It's got a nice corner view which is nice because I like to people watch sometimes. The server was funny so my evening had a little spice to it. All in all I think this place is cool.
google avatar

Brooke L.

Yelp
Great food even better service! Kennedy had the best recommendations! The food was delicious, unexpected flavors so good. Good the royale taco (Smash burger taco) and the Korean pork taco. So good. Kids menu options were good.
google avatar

Yelp
Westin Peachtree guests! Tin Lizzy restaurant has healthy and delicious bowls on their menu. This restaurant is just two blocks away a few doors away from the Hard Rock cafe, and they're open until 11 pm. Our waitress Aja recommended the SoCal Quinoa Bowl and the Mango Shrimp Quinoa Bowl and she was so correct! The bowls were flavorful and the ingredients were fresh. And don't forget to order the best desert that I've eaten this year, the Tres Leche cake. What a delightful surprise and delight! It comes with raspberry syrup.
google avatar

Tonya E.

Yelp
Great food and service The tacos were exceptional! Soooo delicious! Happy with the food, drinks, and atmosphere!
google avatar

Yelp
Slowest place on earth. We had a 40 Minute wait to sit. Restaurant was empty. Servers were just standing around. This was on a Saturday during a game. We sat down and waited 20 minutes to get our drink orders. Another 40 minutes to get our food. The restaurant was not packed. At all. I'm not really sure what's going on with this place. Prime location, just bad service. The bartenders seem like they were on it. But my margarita sat for 20 Minutes before the server brought it.
google avatar

Shana C.

Yelp
Our waitress was so much fun! She told us funny stories, checked on us frequently and was so upbeat! We had the chips with queso, guac and salsa plus 2 skillets. Everything was fantastic!
google avatar

Jim U.

Yelp
Great taco selection. Mahi mahi was excellent. Limited bar but all the basics. They were out of a few drafts but we made it work. No cash accepted, cc only.

Yelp
Lunchtime and we originally wanted Chipotle but then I was like hmmm I rather go to a new spot. Luckily, we literally walked right into Lizzy's. The sign was huge and cute so why not try it out. Food - Many options at a great price. Nachos - Soooooo good, crunchy, well seasoned and the quest dip was velvety and cheesy. I believe it was homemade which explains the freshness. Shrimp Skillet - A great combo and amount of food. I added avocado slices and it def added to the overall dish. I do wish it had black beans to balance the meal but it was still good. I just wished the food came out sizzling then it would've been extra perfect. Customer Service - Delightful and great vibes. Our waitress was sweet and attentive. She was busy but kept a smile and great attitude which is a plus. Definitely a place to come back to! Next time I'm trying their tacos and drinks.
google avatar

Amber S.

Yelp
We had an excellent experience here tonight. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our food was delicious and came out hot! The cowboy skillet was such a good portion that we split it and had left overs. Our waitress suggested the hot sauce on the side and it was a great decision.

Yelp
I was traveling to Atlanta for a conference in Sep and arrived travel-weary and *definitely* worse for the wear. I saw that Tin Lizzy's Cantina was close to the hotel and offered takeout, so I walked over and was greeted by one of the friendliest folks I've encountered in a while. I have to give a special shout-out to OG for her amazing kindness and spark of humor. She made me not only feel human again, but also completely taken care of as a guest of the restaurant. I came back with coworkers for a happy hour the next night and was greeted like a friend. What a fun way to start the night and build memories of this trip. Highly recommend this spot for the fantastic staff - with OG leading the pack - and great drinks/food to boot!

Yelp
Great service Wonderful Grilled Mahi Mahi Cheers with a Tin Lizzy Good wonderful highly recommend
google avatar

Derick R.

Yelp
Food is good. Service is horrible every time. It's almost like their bartenders don't want your money. You have to almost force them to take your order.
google avatar

Lauren W.

Yelp
I can only speak to the fried chicken nachos and the kindness and prompt service of the folks at the bar but all three were five stars! The fried chicken nachos may have been the best plate of nachos I have ever eaten, the cocktails were generously poured and the service was great. Already making plans to stop by for more than a snack and a drink at this place the next time we are in ATL!
google avatar

Brian C.

Yelp
I was very surprised by this taco place. Very Tex Mex style tacos but a great southern flare. Standard tacos are pretty solid and the Big Greek with gyro was shockingly good. Lack of local beers in such a rich craft beer area is a downside. Lots of generic Mexican beer brands that are not really needed.
google avatar

Randy H.

Yelp
Amazing, awesome and outstanding food and service. Chay was great and humorous. Had three different tacos all were very good.
google avatar

Jenn R.

Yelp
Clean place with friendly fast service. We will probably go back before we head home at the end of the weekend.
google avatar

Brittany C.

Yelp
Honestly - glad I came here vs Hooters/Hard Rock. Dom was great and the tacos were awesome as well. Will easily find my way back here - even if it's to grab a taco to go!
google avatar

Julia B.

Yelp
Walking distance from many downtown hotels. The waiter (I think his name was Marcus) was very friendly and recommended some items. The food was really good. The tortilla soup very hearty. Everything tasted fresh.

Cee B.

Yelp
Legit had me guessing if I had Covid. Then I realized, nope... The food just has no flavor as in none, zippo, nada. Legit the worst meal I had in a very long time. The three dips were nasty. Hard to screw up queso and guess what? They did. It was so water it wouldn't stick to the chips. The guac tasted like boiled avocado with a punch of cilantro. The salsa was out of a jar and flavorless. If you're looking for hot sauce which most people are when going out for tex-mex, you won't find anyone good here. Cholula which had a heat level of -25. I resorted to raw jalapenos which were also lacking heat. The flavor was there but no heat. A sign they were cut up in a large batch and staged. Tacos... Oh the tacos. No Tex Mex anything, instead only hipster nonsense like Greek gyro meat with Greek salad. Korean beef with cabbage. Nothing like you would expect. Really crazy.... Maybe I'm spoiled with TexMex and Mexican food and what I expected is not what I received. The server was very nice and attentive. Buyers remorse.
google avatar

Jayme B.

Yelp
We stumbled across this place when checking Yelp and I'm glad we stopped in. We came in for drinks and some tacos and this place did not disappoint. The restaurant itself was so cute. We were seated in a cozy booth near the bar. We started out with some margaritas and fried pickles for an appetizer. I ordered a chicken taco and a lobster meat taco. They both were so good. I also added a side of rice which was flavorful as well. The vibe was dope, the staff were very kind, and the music was chill too. I really enjoyed my visit to Tin Lizzy's!
google avatar

Kimberly B.

Yelp
The food is excellent especially the tortilla soup and the 5 layer chocolate cake. The soup is the best and most flavorful that I have had. Even from So California. The cake is so moist and perfect chocolate frosting. You can't miss this amazing restaurant. And to top it all off...the customer service is an A++...friendly, welcoming and very accommodating in every way! Thank you Kayleigh and Jason (the excellent manager). Maximo!
google avatar

Tina H.

Yelp
We had a reservation for a standard table for a party of 8 through opentable for Friday. When we arrived, our table was not ready. Although there were many open tables, they were trying to figure out where to put us. We were ultimately seated in the bar at a high top. Not what we reserved but we went with it. While the service was super friendly, it was a bit off. Our apps arrived but we didn't have any plates or silverware to eat with. So we waited for the plates. Luckily nachos don't require silverware. When our food arrived we still didn't have silverware. I asked 2 more times before we received. When I was finally able to eat my bowl, I was not impressed. It lacked flavor and only contained 3 tiny chicken strips. Not worth $16. The rest of our party had tacos and enjoyed them.
google avatar

Whitney H.

Yelp
Ehhhh. Kind of your run-of-the-mill typical Tex-Mex place. The drinks are outrageously priced for the size. Our classic margaritas came in lowball whiskey glasses that were mostly filled with ice. The drinks were made well and tasted great, but you only get one to two sips before you're out and for $8 that's just not good enough. The fried pickles were a tasty appetizer (nice crunch not soggy) with a great dipping sauce. Our meals were good. Not great, but at least we didn't leave hungry.
google avatar

Kim R.

Yelp
Excellent service and great food. I ordered the mahi mahi fish taco and the shrimp low country boil taco. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
google avatar

Daniel D.

Yelp
Average TexMex restaurant. Menu is rather limited. Ordered the TL chicken nachos and found them a decent size portion. Also tried the Korean BBQ taco and Buffalo Chicken Taco. The bbq was actually quite delicious (sweet) and the Buffalo was basically a chicken tender smothered in average Buffalo sauce. I'd skip that one if we ever ate here again. Also had a Feaky Tiki cocktail (sweet) not sure there was alcohol in it, but it was a fun sweet drink. Waitress was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We had a party of 7 and she handled it amazingly. This is a loud restaurant, so be prepared to speak loudly across your table if you are in a group.

Corey B.

Yelp
Friendly staff, reasonable prices and good food. Able to accommodate large crowds. Went here three times during Dragon Con.
