"A swish two-story cocktail bar in the Tenderloin, I reported that it opened in 2016 and was known for smooth drinks and upscale burgers and tots; Bacchus closed it completely when the pandemic began and boarded up its Tendernob facade. I received anonymous reports that it may be closing for good, a Bacchus spokesperson has refused to confirm or deny the claims, the group says the property is in lease negotiations, and the restaurant is already listed as permanently closed on both Yelp and OpenTable." - Becky Duffett
