"James Beard award–nominated pastry queen Caroline Schiff (formerly of Gage & Tollner in Brooklyn) is popping up at a Santa Monica hotel to preview her forthcoming New York City diner. A sampling of Schiff’s dinnertime offerings will be served from Friday, December 6 through Sunday, December 8, while her brunch menu is offered only on Sunday, December 8.
