"Located a block off Dorchester Avenue and open for over 40 years, I often start here because it’s a bustling, family-run deli full of locals and newcomers alike; owner Alina Morris grew up in the Polish Triangle, took over from her parents, and runs the store with her family. The sandwich selection is huge — my favorite is the Rycki Indyk on Polish rye with smoked turkey, cheese, tomato, banana pepper, and mustard — and their kielbasa is made fresh in-house each week (a large sub is only about $7). I never leave without at least one pączek: Dawn bakes them fresh every morning in flavors like raspberry, Nutella, and plum, and they blow American doughnuts out of the water." - Hanna Pisera
