"I learned the new Chick-fil-A at the intersection of Rainbow and Lake Mead boulevards in Las Vegas — replacing the demolished former home of Joe’s Crab Shack — will open at 6 a.m. on Nov. 29 and will operate daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. while remaining closed on Sundays. The 4,819-square-foot space offers a drive-thru and an indoor children’s play area, and serious fans can line up at 6 a.m. on Nov. 28 to collect a ticket for a drawing and participate in a 24-hour campout for a chance to win one Chick-fil-A Sandwich Meal per week for a year. The restaurant will also be collecting new and gently used children’s books to donate to a local children’s organization, and this site is being built toward a total of seven Las Vegas outposts, including one on the Strip, though no updates were given on the status of the remaining under-construction outlets." - Bradley Martin
