Chicago Chefs Cook and Mariano’s Collaborate on a New Cookbook | Eater Chicago

"This local nonprofit was founded in March 2020 when three friends began distributing packaged hot meals to people experiencing homelessness; it now operates five fleets of buses around the city every weekend and has served more than 800,000 meals. The organization focuses on feeding the unhoused and has been particularly active in assisting migrant communities. It was chosen as the recipient of proceeds from the chef-created cookbook and regularly partners with chef-driven groups to mobilize resources and run large-scale fundraising and relief efforts." - Lisa Shames
