"Little Fib will open on the first floor of the Renaissance Nashville Hotel at 611 Commerce Street in late September. The new restaurant will serve elevated Southern cuisine in an American retro themed setting — and yes, there’s a wall lined with photos of the Man in Black. Menu details aren’t available yet, but Little Fib’s full bar will include 12 draft handles, an extensive cocktail menu, and specialty drinks. The new restaurant will feature a 26-seat bar in the center of the restaurant, two private dining tables, and dozens of booths and side tables, providing seating for a total of 185 people. Little Fib’s executive chef is James Kerwin, a Detroit native who just moved to Nashville to open the restaurant. He hopes to inspire Nashville guests with 'nostalgic comfort cooking seen through a modern lens.' Kerwin touts a decade of experience in some of Chicago’s top kitchens, receiving local and international recognition. Kerwin has been an innovator for Renaissance hotels and also worked at Bonsoiree, which earned a Michelin star.
