"This longtime West Hollywood live music venue — closed for over a year due to the pandemic — could benefit from the federal Shuttered Venue Operators Grant (SVOG) administered by the Small Business Administration. SVOG funds may be used for payroll, rent, mortgage, utilities and other operating expenses; eligible venues that were in operation before Feb. 29, 2020 can qualify, and some applicants may receive grants equal to 45% of their 2019 gross earned revenue (or up to $10 million, whichever is less). The program, meant as a lifeline for shuttered clubs and concert halls, began accepting applications on April 8 and includes additional guidance on the SBA/SVOG website." - Mona Holmes
