The shop is expected to open in late spring or early summer. The menu features flavored teas, milk teas, and smoothies, which can be topped with tapioca pearls, jellies, puddings, and fruit. Many ingredients are imported from Taiwan, focusing on quality by avoiding syrups and using fresh fruit purees. Customers can customize ice levels, sweetness, and toppings. Franchise owner Christine Nieh, who has personal ties to ShareTea, aims to bring authentic Taiwanese bubble tea experiences to Austin. The chain, known for its high-quality tea drinks, has 500 stores in 18 countries, including locations in Dallas and Houston.
