"After a successful weekend of pop-ups at Port Orleans last June, the New York restaurant Avo Taco opened a second location inside the brewery as a permanent partnership; the Port Orleans location serves 12 kinds of "artisanal" tacos, specialty guacamole, street corn, burgers, quesadillas, and kid-friendly options, offers takeout and catering, is open daily from 11 a.m. with varied closing hours (7 p.m. Monday; 8 p.m. Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday; 5 p.m. Thursday; 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday), hired nearly 10 full- and part-time New Orleans employees including local restaurant vet Dylan Stafford as general manager, and its partner David Hersh—who lived in New Orleans for many years—helped generate interest in a second location." - Clair Lorell
