"Now entering its 15th edition, the hugely popular, globally oriented New York City seasonal food market returns this spring, adding 20 new food vendors and a mix of New York and international offerings — Northern Chinese meat pies, French madeleines, Jamaican coco breads, and hot dogs among them. It kicks off on Friday, April 4 at the Oculus at the World Trade Center in the Financial District (Fulton and Church streets); the Williamsburg market follows on Saturday, April 5 at Marsha P. Johnson State Park (90 Kent Avenue at North Seventh Street); and the Prospect Park market opens on Sunday, April 6 at Breeze Hill. Going forward, each market will operate on its designated day weekly from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. through October. Returning vendors include Birria LES, BunNan Plantain Destination, Hen House, Oyster Party, Rackette Street, Yakitori Tatsu, and many others. Founded in 2011 by Brooklyn Flea co‑founders Eric Demby and Jonathan Butler, the market has since expanded beyond New York City to additional locations including Los Angeles." - Nadia Chaudhury
