SXSW Cheese Event Cheeslandia Isn’t Happening in 2020 | Eater Austin

"A fan-favorite traveling cheese exhibit that showcases Wisconsin’s award-winning cheeses, it will not appear at SXSW this year per a recent tweet but will continue at the Art of Cheese Festival in Madison and at various events around the country. Debuting at SXSW in 2018 with a 70-foot cheese board, recent iterations have been state fair–themed and featured literal tons of cheese, a Ferris wheel of cheese, fondue, fried cheese curds, and even a matchmaking app to pair attendees with cheeses; long lines formed despite being open only two days to badgeholders. The touring show makes stops in cities such as New Orleans, Boston, and Brooklyn, announces dates via Instagram, and organizers say a future return to SXSW remains possible." - Erin Russell
