A New York City Vegan Hotspot Brings the Plant-Based Party to Melrose | Eater LA
"Opening soon on Melrose with early peeks as soon as the end of the month, Avant Garden is the Overthrow Hospitality Group’s first Los Angeles outpost and will occupy 7469 Melrose Avenue, right next door to Melrose Umbrella Co. Like the New York original, the menu will focus on vegan and plant-based fare, with housemade pastas, lots of roasted vegetables, paella, and cocktails. Owner Ravi DeRossi (a James Beard–nominated restaurateur and co-founder of Death & Co., and owner of Cadence) is behind the project, and LA native chef Sarah Stearns (Mírame) is overseeing the menu." - Farley Elliott
