"Many of the restaurants on this list are remarkably easy places to spend $150 or $200 in. Cafe Paloma, a little old-fashioned Turkish restaurant in Pioneer Square, is not like that. The pita is warm, the kofte — described as “Turkish meatballs” here — is satisfying, the baklava is sticky and honey-sweet and wonderful. The wine is affordable, the walls are covered with musical instruments (seriously there’s a tuba or two floating around), and if you don’t feel at home here, well maybe you brought the wrong date?" - Jade Yamazaki Stewart
