"Clinton Hill: Sebastian Perez and Sebastian Bangsgaard first opened Smør, a Scandinavian all-day cafe, in the East Village in a tiny storefront before expanding with a neighboring bakery during the pandemic. Five years later, the team has opened a full-service restaurant version of Smør in Brooklyn. By day, there’s a bakery counter, with pastries like cardamom buns. It will also offer a full-service daytime menu with egg sandwiches, pickled herring open-faced sandwiches, and Danish pancakes with lemon zest. By night, it’s a full-on restaurant and wine bar, serving shrimp salad on sourdough, sesame-crusted schnitzel, and hot dogs with curry ketchup. Rice pudding is for dessert." - Emma Orlow
