"A busy traffic circle near the French Quarter that for over a century featured a statue of Confederate General Robert E. Lee; after the city voted in 2015 to remove that and the sculpture was taken down in 2017, a campaign was launched to rename the circle in honor of Leah Chase and place her statue on the existing podium.
